I am unable to upgrade Firefox. I have tried to download over mine and nothing happens. What to do?
I only use Firefox and it constantly pops up that I need to download the newer version. When I click on yes, it just sits, even for hours, with the green bar, nothing happening. I turn off the computer, after many hours, boot up again, still no upgrade. I have tried so many times. I have tried several times to start all over and download the Firefox 4 over my version of Firefox, it shows that it is downloading, and when I turn on my my computer again, I get the same pop up message that I need to really need to upgrade to Firefox 3.6 (or whatever it is), so it is not working. What do I do now? I am not a computer genius.
I can't be any help, just wanted to chime in and say I'm experiencing the exact same issue with an iPad 3.
It *****, sorry. I've been going at it for 8+ hours trying to get the issue resolved.

MaryTry to force your phone into recovery mode. Disconnect it from the computer's USB cord. Turn it off if you can by holding the sleep/wake switch until you see the red slide to off. If you can't turn it off, please continue. Press and hold the home button while plugging it into the computer's USB cord. Continue holding the Home button while iPhone starts up. While starting up, you will see the Apple logo. i downloaded new FF 2 weeks ago. Since then i keep getting update window coming up every day highly recommending i update but when i try, nothing happens except blue/white moving bar at top of window. i have left it run for hours and no progress, so i close it. The next time I open FF, it appears again and again same happens.
If there is an urgent update, how urgent is it if I cannot download it.It's worries me that i can,t load it and how it might affect my security.It would be a great idea to uninstall Norton - you don't need it and it has a pretty poor reputation for mucking up otherwise healthy Macs.

Edit: To see whether you actually have Norton installed launch Activity Monitor in the Utilities folder. If it's installed you'll likely see some Norton entries there.
Also, in System Preferences>Users & Groups or Accounts, depending on OS)>Login Items, it might be listed. -

The message is probably referring to insufficient storage on the iPad, not in her iCloud account. Purchasing storage in iCloud does not free up space on the iPad. You can check the amount of free space on her iPad by going to Settings>General>Usage, then check the Available space at the top.
If she's low on space on her iPad, she'll have to delete something to make more room. Once option is to import some or all of her photos and videos to her computer and delete them from the iPad (see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083). Another is to sync some of her music or other media off the iPad using iTunes.
If you purchased the iCloud storage upgrade by mistake thinking it would solve this, you can request a refund by calling the Apple online store (1-800-MYAPPLE in the U.S.). -
I have tried to download adobe flash but nothing happens...
I wanted to watch BBC iplayer, it said I needed to download adbe flash. i followed the links, downloaded and ran the application from the download, it said it had completed but when I returned to bbc iplayer I still was unable to watch anything and was told to download adobe flash. am nervous I have downloaded a virus as there is a lot on ther internet about flash causeing viruses.... please advise

I just want to say that I think that I'm having this same problem as well.

I'v tried just using safari to run almost all (but not all) youtube videos and it indicates "A missing plug-in" with and arrow behind it and than it says
"The Adobe Flash Player is required for video playback."

If I click on "Get the latest Flash Player"(underlined) it it takes me to: get.adobe.com/flashplayer/
The version is 11.9.900.117, so i select "Install Now" button as step 1 of 3 and then it starts to initialize on
step 2 of 3, the windo flashes between dark/static screen and the step 2 of 3 screen, the window than goes blank (dark/static) or it goes to the previous "Install Now" step 1 of 3 page

I think I actually installed it once(something was installed), but I have since then uninstalled and not been able to repeat this. During this time youtube was tempermentally playing most youtube videos but then stopped playing them.
I'm using a late 2010 macbook pro and I have adobe CS5, Elmedia Player, Folx 1 and 3(I think). These programs were all purchased through apple and they are all up-to-date. This mac was recently purchased privately, wiped, and OS reinstalled and then updated form Leopard to Mavericks.

Hey everybody Amazon.com works perfectly and no problems so Bye, Bye Itunes fix your junk *** program and ****** customer service telling me it's my computer and connection. Oh is that also why my phone can't download them either on a seperate cell network. Nice try garbage In the time it took for them to run me around i downloaded the songs i needed via Amazon.

The wi-fi in my iphone 4S is 'greyed out' and i am not able to switch it on. I have tried resetting the network settings but nothing happened. I can't even download the new iOS7 version as it requires WI-FI to do so. Please help.
I had same problem. I removed the back cover, and warmed wi-fi module by hairdryer of my wife). five days wi-fi works great. I do not know what will happen next.

Try resetting the device by pressing the Home and Sleep/Wake button for several seconds, the device should then boot up.

I click run, firefox downloads, and then the download window disappears and nothing happens?
I follow the directions on the site, wich say to click run. So I do, and it is supposed to run after its downloaded, but then when it downloads the download window closes and nothing happens.

I have Adobe Pro X and use a PC. My menu toolbar (file, edit, view, etc) is missing. I tried to reset the toolbars and nothing happened.
Press the F9 key to toggle the menu bar on and off. A PDF can contain a setting that will hide the menu bar automatically, which I find very annoying, but you can turn this off with the following preference: Edit > Preferences > Documents > Allow documents to hide the menu bar...
