I am unable to use adobe to enter nfl fantasy draft.

I am unable to use adobe to enter into nfl fantasy draft.  All I get is a screen that says: Check for wsb sockets or flash version 10.0, which shows sucessful, and the 2nd line states: testing cinnection status which shows blank.

Why do you think you need Adobe Reader? I see nothing about Reader in that message. I DO see Flash...

Which version of Photoshop do you have? The current version is 13.0.6.

I purchased the 30 day subscription of Adobe Pro for my Mac Air and downloaded the app and opened it as instructed. Nothing appears to happen after that and I have been unable to use Adobe Pro thus far.

I previously downloaded a trial version of Adobe Pro and had used it the last 30 days. Today I just clicked on the link from my purchase confirmation and downloaded some type of installer. Once I clicked on the installer and gave it permission to do whatever it needed to do, it just sort of stalled. I am running Mac OS Yosemite. I thought Yosemitie might be part of the problem because it has given me occasional problems with Word and some other programs.

  • Error message: Your trial has expired. Unable to use adobe reader to open PDF's.

I have reinstalled the reader several times and keep getting the same error message. My CS6 is working fine.

Does the error actually say "Unable to use Adobe Reader..."?
If not, it could be that you have the trial version of Acrobat installed and were using it to open PDF's instead of Reader (Reader doesn't have a trial)?
If so, you can change your file associations to open PDF's with Reader (how to do this varies by your OS) or install Reader.

Unable to use Adobe Reader.  "Reader has finished searching the document.  No matches were found."
I can use Adobe Reader on some documents but not all.  I believe I have downloaded the correct software.  I am using Firefox on a Mac with 10.8.4
    Can anyone help?

Are these scanned documents?  If scanned documents have not been OCR-ed, then they are just images without any searchable text.
Try if you can highlight any text in such documents.

  • Unable to use Adobe Acrobat Reader and/or install version 8.1.2.

I was unable to use my adobe reader so I tried to download 8.1.2 and during installation I get the 1417 error message saying unable to remove version 8.1.2. Will not let me finish the installation process?

I have Windows XP Pro Service Pack 2 and IE 7, and I cannot install Adobe Reader 8.1.2. I got all these error messages: Windows Installer, The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other removable disk that is not available. Insert the Norton Antivirus 2005 disk and click OK - (Didn't work.) Error 1714 The older version of Adobe Reader 8.1.2 cannot be removed. Contact your technical support group. Adobe Reader 8.1.2 Setup failed.
When I tried to install msicuu2.exe, Error Message: Windows Script Host Active X component can't create object: 'WScript.Shell' Source Microsoft VB Script Runtime Error.
I edited the registry and remove all versions of Adobe Reader, shut down all software, and still was unable to load Adobe Reader 8.1.2. I contacted my "technical support group" which is HP in India, and they were worthless on this issue. Any help would sure be appreciated as I cannot open any jpg documents.

  • Unable to use Adobe Reader on some PDFs -- Please Help

Hi.  I have a new HP laptop.  It uses Windows 7.  I have Adobe Reader -- I had 9.0 and was having problems so took it back to the store and they have now loaded 9.3.  It is hit or miss on opening some pdfs.  The only error message I get is that "there is a problem with Adobe Acrobat Reader.  Please try again.  I am not technically oriented, and this is very frustrating.  I tried to call Adobe and they said that I need to work off of this forum.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

  • Unable to use Adobe photo shop elements 10

All of a sudden I am not able to move around and use my elements 10. I can open it up. but not able to use any of the functions, and also unable to close it.
    Any one know why?

Don't use the welcome screen. Go directly to the program files or program files(x86) in windows or Applications>Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 on a mac and make a desktop shortcut/dock icon for the editor itself and use that to start the program. There is a problem with the welcome screen since the demise of photoshop.com.

  • Unable to use Adobe CreatePDF Desktop Printer

I want to convert a web page (html) to a PDF document. When I tried to do this using my Adobe PDF Pack, I received a message indicating that I would have to do it using the Adobe CreatePDF Desktop Printer. So, I downloaded and installed the Adobe CreatePDF Desktop Printer as directed.   I went to the web page and printed the document to the Adobe CreatePDF Desktop Printer, as directed in the instructions.  I received the following error message:  Could not open the file. Access is denied.
    What do I do now?

I get exactly the same result.  It doesn't work.  Please note that I am
trying to SAVE the web page as a PDF file.  That is, I am trying to convert
a web page (html) to a PDF document.   I am not trying to print it.  I want
a copy of the PDF version of the web page to save on my computer.
In any event, printing it does not work.   I get the same error message I
indicated in my first missive.  And, yes, my printer is working just fine.
Please:  tell me how to use the
    <http://forums.adobe.com/message/5836668#5836668> Adobe CreatePDF Desktop
Printer to convert a web page to a PDF document.  When I try to do that,
using my Adobe PDF pack, I get this message:
"Adirondack-Wildfl ... ng-Shrub-List.html" is in a format not supported for
    conversion to PDF.
You can save the file to one of the supported formats or use the PDF printer
for Windows to convert the file. For a list of supported file formats
    <https://createpdf.acrobat.com/redir/cpdf_cpdf_supported> click here"
When I clicked on the link, I received these instructions:
    e_to_PDF>
    http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat-com/kb/using-pdfpack.html#main_Convert_a_file
toPDF   This page included the following:
"To convert a file type not listed above, use
    <http://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat-com/kb/using-pdfpack.html#main_adobePDF_desk
top_printer> Adobe CreatePDF Desktop Printer. " So, I clicked on that link
and downloaded the Adobe CreatePDF Printer.  I followed these instructions:
    "Print To PDF Setup
The Adobe CreatePDF Desktop Printer lets you convert any file (in a
printable format) to PDF by printing it from an application on your desktop.
The resulting file is saved automatically to your Adobe PDF Pack account,
and you receive an email when conversion is complete. The desktop printer
functionality is available for Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. You
don't need any special hardware to print to Adobe CreatePDF Desktop Printer.
To print to the Adobe CreatePDF printer, first install and configure the
Adobe CreatePDF Desktop printer. Then, open a file in its native application
and choose the print function. Select the Adobe CreatePDF Desktop Printer
from the printer list, choose the appropriate print settings, and then print
the file. Adobe CreatePDF Desktop Printer converts the file to PDF, and then
stores the PDF file in your Acrobat.com account."
So, the instructions say that the Adobe CreatePDF Desktop Printer will
convert a file to PDF and store it in my Acrobat.com account.  It doesn't do
that.  I tried just printing it (after selecting Adobe CreatePDF Desktop
Printer).  I also tried printing to file.  In both cases, I get an error
message, and there is no file stored in my Acrobat.com account.
    It doesn't work.
    Please fix!

  • Mac - SQLDev 1.5 - Unable to use carriage return/enter in SQL Worksheet

This morning I brought up SQLDeveloper (1.5). I connected to a database. Started typing in a query and the carriage return (or enter) does not work. If I go to a menu or the list of files, it does work. Just not in the SQL Worksheet. I removed the application and re-installed. Still the same. I do not see this behavior in any other application or situation. Just within the SQL Worksheet of SQLDeveloper.
As a check, I did exit all other applications, rebooted, and tried again. Still no joy. I have the latest updates of Leopard and SQLDeveloper. I am guessing it is not using the latest Java but rather what was deployed with SQLDeveloper.
Any thoughts on how I could lose these two keys? There is no change to the system preferences for the keyboard. There is no setup to have the carriage return or enter key be mapped to anything else.
Very odd. I tried looking around the application and only in the SQL Worksheet does it not work.
    Any ideas?
    Eric

Ahh, I was pulling my hair out over this since last week (on a PC, not a Mac). I just couldn't figure out why I could no longer add a line feed on the SQL worksheet when I hadn't changed anything at all.
Anyway, I still have no idea how the settings got changed, but resetting to defaults did the trick. Thanks!

  • I am unable to use adobe, the only way is through adobe chrome

If anyone knows how to cancel out the original download of adobe and then install another edition I would really appreciate the info. thanks!

    Hi USA Minny,
There's no software called 'Adobe Chrome'. I think you are referring to 'Google chrome.'
Simply click on the 'Cancel' button to cancel the download, if that's what you are referring to.
In order to download another software, you can go to http://www.adobe.com/downloads
Please be specific as to what OS you are using and the Adobe software you wish to cancel / redownload as it's difficult to make out what you are referring to.

  • Unable to use Adobe 9 Pro with Office 2010

The year is 2012 and Adobe still has not resolved issues with beinga able to use the features I paid them for. Specifically the ability to retain metadata, hyperlink the TOC and maintain other links when converting an Office 2010 Profesional document to Adobe.  When will Adobe make good? I'm in the software industry and I'm not buying that it's taking them TWO years to figure out how to support 64-bit.  Give me a break Adobe.  Meanwhile, if anyone has some ideas on how I convert my 2010 MS word documents to Adobe and maintain my links, I'd really appreciate your help.

Microsoft Office 2010 is compatible with Acrobat X (with 64-bit support included from version 10.1). Acrobat 9 is now a legacy product, so there will be no major additions to features.

  • Ever since the update of 3.6.8 I am unable to use Adobe Flash. It says the plug in has been disabled. I have the newest update for Adobe. Please help.

I am operating Windows XP on my laptop. Firefox 3.5 was working fine until I upgraded to Firefox 3.6.8, ever since then all websites that have streaming video the same screen tells me my plug in has been disabled. I also have Quicktime installed and DivX.

Firefox recently split off a portion of the program used to run Flash and some other plugins into a new program named plugin-container.exe. If you have firewall software that tracks permissions for different programs, then it might be blocked.
More info on this change: [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/questions/704242 What is plugin-container.exe?]
