I am unable to use safari....when I try to click out of it I am unable to do so, it is faded....when I click onto safari, I get the apple page. Please advise.
I am unable to open safari...the apply page automatically come on...when I try to click out of safari, I can't do it because it's not in bold black, it's faded and will not allow me to click out. Please advise.

By default, www.apple.com is the page that Safari loads when starting. You can change that by clicking on "Safari" in the menu bar, then "Preferences", the "General" tab, then playing with the options and entry under "Safari opens with:" and "Homepage:"
Not sure I'm understand the problem when you're "clicking out" of Safari...

I am having Spell Check probs too - it underlines, but that's all. I Googled and tried 5 different places for an answer - even 'jumped the pond'....but got no answers.
i started a thread, "Spell Checker on the fritz!!", and got one good and reasonable answer...
only it didn't work. It involved a .plist file, and once you toss one and do a re-start, it's supposed to re-build itself. But, no, SpCk still 'on the fritz'. I'm going to do one more re-start, but otherwise....
May the first one on either thread that gets an answer that works - PLEASE let us all know.

I ran the CC Cleaner tool to uninstall Photoshop CC. PCC kept crashing every time soon after I tried editing an image. I gave up. After the cleaning, I tried to re-install PCC. The error code 1 showed each time I ran the installer.

One possibility is that Safari is trying to re-open any windows that were open when it last quit. Close the window first, then quit Safari. When you re-open Safari, is that video still loading? If so, quit Safari, then hold down the shift key while opening Safari again. This will force it to forget about the windows that were open when it quit last.
If that doesn't help, someone may be playing a prank on you... choose Preferences from the Safari menu and select the General pane. What does it say in the Homepage field? -

What version of iOS are you using? Some people were having this problem before, and it was fixed when they updated to iOS 5.

Check Settings>General>Date & Time>Set Automatically>On. Make sure that the time zone setting is also set correctly.
If that didn't solve the problem, restart your iPad and try again. If that fails, reset your iPad and try again.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up. -
Installation: hello, I am trying to install my adobe elements twelve. I have a serial number, which contains no letters (only numbers), from the box. I use a mac. When I try to install it, it says it's unable to validate my serial number. I have already checked the spelling. What should I do?
Does it begin with 1057? If not, it's a redemption code. In which case, see here:

If it is a serial number, go to system preferences>security & privacy>firewall>firewall options and be sure that PSE is allowed to call out. -
Hi to all, I use Windows 7, 64Bit and Lightroom 5.7, Camera Raw 8.7, when I develop or export files (mostly Raw Fils from Nikon D810) after 10 to 20 pictures my computer shuts down or I get a bluescreen. Please tell me why.
Blue screen/Computer shuts down is almost always a hardware malfunction or a driver problem.
Make sure your video driver is up to date.
If it is, then the next suspect, in my mind, is overheating, make sure all of the fans in your CPU case are working properly. -

Assuming that you can send email on the iPad, Maybe something is corrupt in Safari that is causing this. Try clearing Safari and see if the sites will accept your email address.
Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Data. Restart the iPad. Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button. -
When a pop up window comes up it is - search bookmarks and history window! I cannot log into my bank as login button should open new window to log in but I get the search page. I cannot see larger images as again I get the search bookmarks and history page etc. Happens on all options that should open new page. When I turn on my iMac it comes up with the login icons which I then choose and log into. The password works and I then get the apple icon and the spinning wheel. After about a minute the Apple icon turns into a prohibited icon. However, if I log in under the guest icon, I can access the wifi and get to Safari. I really don't know what to do next. Any help would be gratefully appreciated.
Are you running any A-V? If it's an iMac 21.5, I don't think you're running Leopard, 10.5. Probably at least Snow Leopard, 10.6. This is the Leopard forum.

Try a Safe Boot. Shift at the startup chime and expect a much longer time to boot. This will bring you to a login screen with "Safe Boot" in red.

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just cancelling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.
