I am unalbe to add a window when I am on line. I have to open an entire new window instead of having a second window open on the same browser. What am I missing

I GOT THIS EXACT PROBLEM. Here's my solution though: Go to the top of the page and click on HELP. Than Click on FireFox Help. That way you automatically get a new tab and than just start it from there :D Hopefully it'll help?

5GB is typically not enough space to download a movie. Often, movies take from 3 - 5 GB to begin with. The only option you have is to delete more things from your iPad. You can remove unused Apps, pictures, music, text message (messages with pictures can take up a lot of space), email messages, books, magazines etc.

Open PDF in same browser when the preference is set to open in new window.

The corporate policy for all applications is to open the PDF document in new browser/reader but our application needs the reader to open in the same browser even the preference "Display PDF in Browser" is unchecked.... The setPreference from javascript (html) doesn't seemed to work... How do i make this work?
Also, I need the links the browser to open in new browser once the PDF is loaded... do I need to reset the preference once it is loaded for the links to open in new browser?

There is no way to override that from your application. And if the Links in the PDF have an explicit "open in new window" setting, that is respected over the preference.

When i click on one particular bookmark it opens in a window in the same browser page that is open but on the left side so that I have two dirfferent urls open

Lightroom quits when Photoshop CS4 is open at the same time

When I have Lightroom open at the same time as Photoshop CS4 I get the message Lightroom has encountered a problem and has to shut down. I am running the latest version of Lightroom using a PC with XP professional 64 bit. Also occasionally Lightroom reverts back to an old catalogue. Does anyone else have these problems?

Just FYI, Lightroom is not supported on XP 64 bit. This might be one of the reasons why. You might need Vista or 7. I do know many people still run it on XP 64 though.

Do you meant that you want to "open the hyperlinks of your flash file in the same browser window"
You flash file will be put on the internet and I think you have to configure your brower to achieve this goal.
We all know that IE can be configured to open the hyperlinks in the same window.
Thus if you want your flash file achieve this feature you need to write a code to control your brower.
This code can be a simple JS code. You can just google this to find out the answer.

I went to Tools then options then on tabs the first box (open new window in a tab instead) it was checked so i unchecked it clicked on ok and it did the same thing for new tab it opened in a ew window so i went back and put a check in the tab and same thing....new window.. i then unchecked and ditto.....and did this about 5 times with no change. Eric, thanks that works but seems like an extra added step also to do it that way. I've got to move and organize a ton of files and I'm looking for a easy way to get this done. I could also open the folder into a separate tab and then drag the tab out so it becomes an open window but thats a lot of fussing around also with extra steps. Not sure why these newer operating system seems more confusing and less user friendly than what they used to. In the past I could just click on any folder and it would open in a separate window making it really easy to copy or move files from one place to the other just by simply dragging them from one window to the other. Seems like I'm going through several extra steps now to do a simple task.

When i have 4 or 5 browser windows open at the same time, sometimes they get grouped into one tab and i can not ungroup them. why does this happen?

4 or 5 browser windows open at the same time. Tabs are down in the control bar. every now and then they just combine into one pop up. can't undo and very annoying. Have to close all out and start over.

This can happen if you drag a tab slightly down in the browser window while clicking.
Firefox has a feature called tear-off tabs
You can detach a tab from the current window and open it in a new window by dragging a tab in the browser window.
You can also do this via the right-click context menu of a tab: Move to New Window
You can drag that tab back to the tab bar in the original window to undo that detaching.
