I have firefox 5 and I want to go back to an earlier version.....

it has deleted all my software data (music, photos, contacts, messages etc- i have nothing on it!) and when i try to back up from previous data, the only option i have is may 2010... and i update my iphone on a weekly basis so i should have back ups from may 2010 to today!!!

Try a Reset holding the Sleep button and the Home button together until Apple logo shows up and then wait for the Reset to return you to the lock-screen. If you still don't have service check Settings>General>About and then scroll down to Carrier and see if your Service Provider is listed.

There was no new serial needed to update from Logic 9 to 9.1.7
If your Logic 9 was an upgrade from Logic 8 it may be asking you for your original Logic 8 Full serial first and then your Logic 9 Upgrade serial...
Otherwise, it's best to call Apple directly and get them to help you...

Connect the old phone to your computer, right click on it in iTunes, and choose Transfer Purchases. That should put all of your music in iTunes except any tracks that were not purchased from iTunes. You cannot downgrade the iOS, there is no supported method.
Google streetview was not lost, Google Maps were removed from iOS6 and replaced with Apple Maps.

I have a child with special need who uses proloquo2go as a speaking program. He just got a new IPOD and has to go through a password screen before he can choose his speaking program. I want to remove this feature. I don't care if it makes it insecure.

I have a child with special needs who uses an IPOD touch with the proloquo2go speaking program to communicate. We just bought a new itouch and it requires that he enter a password before he can open his speaking program. He is intellectually challenged and this additional step (having to think of that 4 digit code) is distracting him from what he wanted to communicate. I want to remove this password screen as a transition to function. Can anyone help me? Every tutorial I have found concerns removing the password or re-setting it. I need to remove that PROCESS.

Do you mean the lock screen passcode?
Settings > General > Passcode Lock > enter your passcode > Turn Passcode Off.
If it is not the lock screen passcode and is only requested when opening this particular app, you may want to check the settings within the app.

This happened because if Mail.app was moved from /Applications or placed in a sub-folder there, the update (Security Update 2012-004) couldn't find it and fails for writing new files to Mail. This update updates Mail 4.5 to 4.6, consequently the message that 4.5 is incompatible, since it's looking at the now "old" 4.5 version. See the thread linked below for a fix and some other possible workarounds.

Basically, make sure Mail.app is in the Applications folder inside the Macintosh HD folder, and sitting by itself not in an enclosing folder. Then get the update from Apple Downloads and run that again.

Since the new update, when I plug my phone to my car stereo it shows albums/music that I have in my main computer and it seems to be sorting through it making it run slower. Also when I skip to the next track it displays music not on my device but that could be found in my computer or iCloud

If you mean this one:
It's the orientation lock, it stops the display rotating when you rotate your phone.
You can turn this on/off from the control Centre which you can reveal by swiping upwards from the bottom of the screen.

I have an Ipod with alot of music on it that i have had for a while. The PC i used to sync it to crashed and i lost my itunes library. I now have a new PC and have already started loading new music onto it. I now realize that the music that is on my Ipod is not on the PC yet. I would like to know how to merge my ipod with the old music onto the new PC with the new music. When i pluged it in Itues said it would erase the ipod and replace it with what is now on the PC and of course i said no. So i now have two different libraries and would like to only have one made up of both. Any help?

I bought a new computer and I need to transfer songs from my iPod to my itunes account, but it does not transfer songs that were on CDs; how do i transfer them?

I have an iPod nano and an iTouch. I used to buy songs off of my iTunes account on my iTouch, and would sync them onto my computer. I would then sync the songs on my computer onto my iPod. However, i got a new computer which complicates things. I thought that I would not have to save all my songs onto a thumbdrive on my old computer, because i would be using the same iTunes account; I thought iTunes would be able to pull up all my songs on my account onto the new computer. This was not the case. I signed into iTunes with my account (the account is the same for iPod, iTouch, old computer), but it gave me a blank library. I then tried "transfering" my songs from my iPod onto my new computer, but it only pulled up about ten songs; most of the songs on my iPod were either from CDs or purchases on my iTouch. I need help on how to get my songs from my iPod or iTouch onto my new computer!! Any help would be great!!

Airport stopped working, so I tried to reinstall the OS and applications, but because it's all earlier versions, I can't use Word, iWork, or anything else. Since I didn't erase the versions I got with my (secondhand) macbook, can I uninstall and go back?

I bought the macbook with other stuff installed, but was only given the original discs. I hadn't realised that the OS and pretty much everything else had been upgraded from what was on the discs, and now I can't work on any of my documents. I have also bought software based on the operating system installed when I bought it, and now some of it is no longer usable, either.
It's bad enough I have to borrow my roommate's computer to get internet for job hunting and important communications, since Airport just stopped working (not sure what's up with that, but I hardly care now, in light of everything else), but now I need it to even write out lesson plans for my volunteer teaching or do my own writing. If I had a job, I'd have gone to an Apple certified place a long time ago to try fixing the Airport. Since I couldn't afford it, I thought I'd try reinstalling everything. I don't know much about where everythign is, so I figured maybe that would reinstall Airport, too. .
The sucky thing is, I had planned to buy more recent versions of any of the extra programs that I use once I had the money. just not quite yet.
I didn't use the 'delete and install option,' yet the earlier versions seem to have taken over and overwritten things. For instance, now some programs say parts are missing, or are just trial versions.
Lesson learned: Leave things well enough alone until you can afford the experts. Obviously there are some things I can't fix for myself.

Hi!! To add more to the issue, the other day, my airport card is nowhere to be found. It now says no airport card installed which is really crazy. I also noticed that my MBP freezes during start up and I had to zap the PRAM so it would open up. Anyone there who experienced the same thing? I'd really appreciate your suggestions. Thanks!

My dad put a new mac in and the old Mac had my photos on it, and I checked iPhoto after it the new computer was plugged in and there was no photos in it, and my dad said that they should be in there but they aren't, so is there a way to get my photos onto the new Mac without the old one and without an external or flash drive? Because a lot of my photos I don't have on my camera because the memory card was full and the pictures that I had already had been on the old mac....

Have your dad post de what happened - you need to be at least 13 o se these forums and we need to be able to understand what you are asking
the basic answer to moving photos is Connect the two Macs together (network, firewire target mode, etc) or use an external hard drive formatted Mac OS extended (journaled) and drag the iPhoto library intact as a single entity from the old Mac to the pictures folder of the new Mac - launch iPhoto on the new mac and it will open the library and convert it as needed and you will be ready move forward. but you say you do not have the old computer
Unless you have a backup or there is more information the answer is there s no way now
