I recently upgraded from OS 10.5 on a PowerMac G5 to an early Intel Mac Pro running 10.7.5. To my consternation, I now find that my scroll wheel operates backwards from what I'm used to. Did Apple make a change that caused that? Is there any way around this?
Apple didn't make this easy, did they! When Lion first came out, I think that check box was under the Trackpad heading of the System Preferences, whether you actually had a trackpad or not. I take it there's nothing there, either?
I plugged a plain ol' three button Logitech mouse into the iMac, and while the Mouse panel options did change some, the same check box for Move content in the direction of finger movement when scrolling or navigating was there. -
I can't use air play mirroring with the new upgrade on my imac (mountain lion) because my mac 21.5-inch is a Mid 2010... is there any way I can full fill the requirements and be able to use it? an upgrade or something??

First, you can install Microsoft's Security Essentials in the Win 7 VM and keep it up-to-date. Second, you can turn off Sharing in Fusion's System Settings to keep the VM environment separate from your Mac. Third, you can look into Sophos Anti-Virus http://www.sophos.com/en-us/products/free-tools/sophos-antivirus-for-mac-home-ed ition/download.aspx for the Mac host. -
I have a mac OS 10.8.2 and I want to download office mac 2008 however it is a cd rom and my comp doesnt have a cd rom. Is there any way to still download it without buying an external disk drive?
Yes, if you have access to another computer with an optical drive. You can connect the two computers via your home network and use File Sharing to transfer the installer to your HDD. You can also use:

Unfortunately, iCloud does not offer equivalents to Mobile Me’s iDisk, Gallery or Web Hosting services. You will need to find a third party solution to replace these services. You might considerDropBox, SugarSync, MediaFire or any other service that offers online storage. (not all these alternatives offer all the services previously provided by iDisk)
So it won't matter whether you have Snow Leopard or Lion, you will not be able to upload your website to iCloud. -
Our macs were set up with an incorrect Apple ID. Is there any way to change the Apple ID associated with these macs? This causes increased frustration during the updating process. After maverick we cannot edit the id being used anymore.
If you can prove ownership to the Macs, call Apple Care and request the Account Security Team.

i have downloaded the latest version of safari only to be told that i can not use it on my version of os x (10.7.5). Is there any way to to revert back to the old safari.
Safari is part of OS X and isn't available as a separate download. How did you get a newer version than the one that comes with Lion?

While trying to sync my calendar to my new mac, I lost all my calendar events on my iPhone. Best guess is I didn't set up icloud on my phone first and my computer deleted them. Is there any way to recover my calendar from iCloud?

You can change the address bar drop-down so it only suggest bookmarked sites instead of everything in your history. I purchased an used iPod Nano 4th.with many,many,many songs and albums on it,but when i plugged the usb cable into my laptop(i am a new comer to computer) i thought i was changing the name and thought i was syncing but something went wrong and everything was gone! is there any way possible to get these back? Was the music purchased via your iTunes account and/or did you buy it from other sources or copy it from your own CDs, or did the music belong to the previous owner ? If the music was yours then you can sync it back to the iPod via your computer's iTunes. If the music is not still on your computer then have you got a backup of it ? If not then for iTunes purchases you might be able to re-download it depending on which country you are in. If the music was put on the iPod by the previous owner then you will need to buy your own copies of it.

Hey there is one way but ur itouch has to be ios5 and must have i cloud.
if u have it go to www.icloud.com and enter your icloud email and password then go to find my iphone.
if the user is connected to the internet it will track or it will say offline then you can even lock your ipod touch.
