I got this error message: "Error 1328.Error applying patch to file C:\Config.Msi\pT64b3.tmp It has probably been updated by other means1 and can no longer be modified by this patch. For AA XI, you only need the 11.0.09 patch. Download from http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=Windows (Use "MAC" if a MAC is used).

When trying to update Acrobat XI I get a 1328 error each time. I have uninstalled XI and reinstalled it from disk. When trying to update the newly installed XI I still get the 1328 error. I have searched my C: drive for the file C:\config\Msi\PTA082.tmp but with no sucess. Any suggestions?
Hi Berriedale,
Please try the below steps and check.
Turn off any antivirus or software security program.
Download the update patch 11.0.10 manually from the below link and run it.

Hi,
I have HP LaserJet 200 colorMFP M276nw and trying to install the driver on my mac pro; it gives me the error message that the driver is not available.Typically this is caused by the internal list of compatible devices in the Mac being out of date. All you should need to do is disconnect the printer from the Mac, run Apple Software Update (even if there are no updates, the list will still update), restart the Mac, connect the printer to the Mac, and add the print queue. If that doesn't work, let me know.

I have Acrobat 9 Pro Extended trying to install Adobe Presenter
I have Acrobat 9 Pro Extended trying to install Adobe Presenter can someone tell me where the serial # is located as there is none on the box although there is one for Acrobat.. thanks
Hi there. I'm having the same issue, and it appears a few others in the forums are as well. The jist of it all seems to be that when you try to install presenter from acrobat extended, a message pops up saying that powerpoint is not installed. So like me you go to Adobe support, see that there is a download for MS office 2010 powerpoint, and download it. This is the kicker though, it seems that this is a stand alone version you have just downloaded requiring its own unique seriel number, (one you have to buy) and will not activate in combination with Acrobat Pro extended in any way shape or form.
I have uninstalled, reinstalled, attempted to patch, but it will not allow me to, as presenter is not installed! Then I have tried to look at the presenter file within adobe folders, but alas its not there as I can't install it, I can't fiddlle or patch it in any way shape or form. This appears to be other peoples problem as well. Argghhhhhh!
I'm not sure of the work around for this is, hopefully they will sort it out soon, this programme is not cheap!!!!
Unfortunatly for me tech support is now closed until next week, but in your time zone it may be different.
I hope this gives you some background to the why you are having the problem, although not solving it for you.

Keiran. -
After downloading and trying to install the newest version of i tunes on my pc, I got an error message telling me: unable to locate component MSVCR80.dll. Now I can't use the version I had and obviously not the newest version. Any ideas about how to fix ?
Solving MSVCR80 issue and Windows iTunes install issues.
Thanks to user turingtest2 for this solution.
Solving MSVCR80 issue and Windows iTunes install issues.
If the above doesn’t do the trick entirely, then use the instructions in the following as it applies to the version of Windows you are using:
HT1925: Removing and Reinstalling iTunes for Windows XP
HT1923: Removing and reinstalling iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
You may be required to boot into safe mode to complete the folder deletion process. -
My Adobe Reader wouldn't download tickets. Tried opening Adobe Reader application but it would not open. I saw my Adobe Reader needed to be updated, so I attempted to install new Adobe Reader. I am running Aperture 3.1.2 and trying to install updates, but the installer cannot "see" my application and won't proceed with the installation.
Read another entry and solved the problem. I had changed the application's title to read Aperture3, instead of its orignal descriptor "Aperture." Sorry to have used the space, but thanks for the help.

How can I make Acrobat 8 pro stop trying to install?
Hello,
Background: I am using a Sony Vaio laptop with Windows Vista home edition.
I don't wish to create pdfs etc. right now, just read them with Adobe Reader 8.1 that is on my machine. Right now, whether using Firefox or IE, if I attempt to view a pdf within a browser, the pdf displays briefly but then Acrobat 8 pro gives a pop up that says I must install to view. It then wipes the screen and I must hit quit on the pop up. The way around this is to quickly save the file and then open it from the hard drive using Reader. I would like to make this stop. I have tried the following: uninstalling the trial version of Acrobat 8 pro on my machine and changing all default programs in both browsers that open anything related to a .pdf away from Pro and to Reader. In the first case, my machine will not allow me to uninstall the trial software and the second 'fix' does not work either. Despite the application to use clearly being specified as Reader, it still opens in Pro and problems commence. Any advice? Thanks, Seth MyersI'm in the same boat, it's been about 5 or so weeks (whenever the new iphone came out) and it's still downloading. Any help would be appreciated. I just updated to iOS 8.1 like 5 mins ago and nothing

hello - am using acrobat X pro - i am not able to edit text
So, what exactly do you do? What do you try, what exactly do you click, select etc. There are many things you might try, and we can't see over your shoulder so I'm afraid it has to be detailed this way.

Each time my macbook restarts and tries to install the downloaded software updates, I get an error message telling me that there might have been an error during the download process of the updates and that he's unable to install the updates. What can I do?
What are you trying to download? If you are referring to the recent security update, just ignore the error and select the option to open the installer. It's fine.

I tried to install the new iTunes & I get an error message
I tried to install the new iTunes & i got an error message & i have already deleted all apple related things & reinstalled them. Now a message that says something about verify my apple mobile device keeps coming up & i have no idea how to fix this problem.
... not likely to be a LSP thing, then.
Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
http://www.rarlab.com/
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, can you get a normal iTunes install to go through properly now?
If instead you get an error message during the install (or uninstall), let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.) -
