Your printer isn't on the list but you may be able to print with Epson's app or other print apps from the App Store.

In general theory, one now has the Edit button for their posts, until someone/anyone Replies to it. I've had Edit available for weeks, as opposed to the old forum's ~ 30 mins.
That, however, is in theory. I've posted, and immediately seen something that needed editing, only to find NO Replies, yet the Edit button is no longer available, only seconds later. Still, in that same thread, I'd have the Edit button from older posts, to which there had also been no Replies even after several days/weeks. Found one that had to be over a month old, and Edit was still there.
Do not know the why/how of this behavior. At first, I thought that maybe there WAS a Reply, that "ate" my Edit button, but had not Refreshed on my screen. Refresh still showed no Replies, just no Edit either. In those cases, I just Reply and mention the [Edit].
Also, it seems that the buttons get very scrambled at times, and Refresh does not always clear that up. I end up clicking where I "think" the right button should be and hope for the best. Seems that when the buttons do bunch up they can appear at random around the page, often three atop one another, and maybe one way the heck out in left-field.
While I'm on a role, it would be nice to be able to switch between Flattened and Threaded Views on the fly. Each has a use, and having to go to Options and then come back down to the thread is a very slow process. Jive is probably incapable of this, but I can dream.

Epson Artisan 835 won't print on my iMac.

My Epson Artisan 835 printer isn't working with my iMac. I have it connected via a USB cable but it's also a wireless printer. My Dell laptop prints to it just fine wirelessly but my iMac sees the printer but when I print says "not connected".
The printer icon jumps up and down at the bottom of the screen and there is a yellow icon that looks a little like a lightning bolt. I don't know what that icon means.
I'm running Mac OS X 10.7.5.
Ideally I'd like to run it connected via USB as I think I'll have more functionality with the scanning feature if it's hard-wired.

I would like to know if I can print wirelessly from both an iPad 4 and an iPad air to an epson artisan 835 printer. So far I have not been able to make it happen. The list of printers does Not include the 835. I would rather buy an additional printer than get into AirPort Extreme if that's what it takes.

If you want to print directly from an iPad you need an AirPrint printer. Otherwise there are workaround options that involve varying degrees of expense and / or inconvenience.

Looks like I didn't do enough research as the HP site said it's available however upon further investigation only manual duplexing is available with drivers installed.

The devices are not designed for transfer of that kind. Use Photo Stream as suggested by another poster, or transfer photos to your computer (a good idea anyway since they will be lost if your device needs to be reset), then use iTunes to sync them to the other devices.

You can go to Settings/iCloud and delete the account, then create a new iCloud account. You can still use the same account for the app store though.

Connect the two via Firewire cable - Transferring files between two computers using FireWire. Boot the old iMac into Target Disk Mode. Boot the new iMac normally.
If you are starting the new iMac for the first time then do the above before you turn on the new iMac. After you turn on the new iMac you will begin in the Setup Assistant. When you complete the registration screens you will be offered an opportunity to migrate your data from another Mac. Follow the instructions to migrate your old Home folder, third-party applications and support files, and system preferences to the new iMac.
If you have already gone through the Setup Assistant and created an initial admin user account, then you do the connection step but will use Migration Assistant in the Utilities folder of the new iMac.
