I recently upgraded my motherboard on my MacBook Pro and I need to re-download the Adobe CC software I purchased. My Purchase Order History claims I didn't have a history. There are not options to redownload either. I am logged on right now. Please advise.

Pictures on event are not showing but I know they are there, but where?
I have uploaded picturesfrom camera to imac. Deleted pictures from camera. Then see at the event, and it only shows 15 pictures. I hit on one and kept moving with arrow to the right to see the rest and found that there are a lot more that DO NOT show in this event or any of the ones imported. These pictures were in the camera but do not show unless I hit the event to show pictures individually. How can I get the event to show me all the pictures it has? Where are these photyos then?
There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 9 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.

Some videos are not showing in my Apple TV playlists after upgrade to 6.0. They were there prior to upgrade and I can play on Macbook itunes and also using using airplay to Apple TV. Anybody else have this issue?
Ok, so I'll try again. Thank you for the idea of looking in Home Videos, which is where all my "lost" videos are listed.
Is there a way to get them to display under their appropriate genre in the Movie section, which is where they all were listed prior to the os6 update? It does me no good to have hundreds of movies categorized in iTunes via a genre only to have them appear in Home Videos on ATV. These are not "home movies." They are legit mp4 movies that worked great under v5. -
Using custom classes that are not beans
Hi folks,
Is it possible to use java classes that are not beans. I mean, on a page, could you say Customer cust = new Customer("Jones", 25);
if you had a Customer class with a constructor that took a name and age (String and int).
If so, how do you go about this- do you need to import the class, or put it in a standard location? I'm using Tomcat, and would guess that this would go in WEB-INF/classes?
I hope it's not a stupid question, all the literature seems to be focused on JavaBeans
Any advice on this would be great!Beans are used as putting Java code into a JSP is generally considered bad practice. The advantage of the bean pattern is that you use things like:
<jsp:setProperty name="laBean" property="someSetter" value="someValue" />so that you aren't embedding Java directly into the JSP. I'm not very religious about this particular topic personally and will throw a line or two in here and there.
Having said that though, you can easily use any Java class in a JSP. You'll have to import it first:
<%@ page import="java.util.*" %>And then you can easily use it like in a real Java program. -

I've seen this asked before. But no real solution has been found.
I'm working with both Ps and Ai and A LOT of Ai files embedded in Ps (smart objects). Don't ask
The problem is that whenever I want to open a smart object illustrator shrinks to tiny size and that message pops up (Can't open the illustrator. There is not enough room for the window. etc etc). That happens mostly when the illustrator is already open.
There has to be a solution other than deleting the preference folder (have too many other preferences there that I do not want to set up again, like color prefs etc) And btw, I've seen people saying the problem actually comes back fairly soon.
It's worth mentioning that it started slow - at first it was opening illy just half the maximized size.
Shift+Close (X on the top) that used to help with apps that do not want to open in a right size, is not helping. Only solution is to open (double click smart object) it once, shift+closing and opening it again.
That however is NOT helping the productivity. Luckily at the workshop I do have a very fast PC that opens illy in about second/ second and a half, but for one that I have at home I would hang myself before I could do some proper work.
Adobe tech support has nothing.
REALLY? This aint a freeware to have this type of flaw for YEARS from what I read (at least since CS4)

2. not a single permanent fix (I mean cmon, 'resize the window by draggin it bigger' or 'alt+O to open') Not looking for ECDL type of help.
Also, as I mentioned in my first post, thrashing settings folder is not an option.
It's an expensive product and it has to have a proper fix. Am I not in the right place?

If you feel that you have enough evidence of the symptoms, use the feedback at http://www.apple.com/feedback/itunesapp.html to let Apple know. The "feedback type" of "bug report" has been removed from the iTunes feedback, so I suggest you use use "Other".
You will not receive any feedback from them, but they do read the submissions and act upon them. It can take a while, and more than one iTunes update before the issue is resolved. -
Can't Open the Illustration. There is not enough room for the window;
This is more of a nusance than an actual problem. But, when I double click on an AI document to open it the Illustrator window will shrink down to what is in the attached image and throw an error. The error reads "Can't open the Illustration. There is not enough room for the window; increase document area and try again."
I can drag and drop the file into Illustrator and file>open of course, but the double-click method isn't working.
I'm not sure if this is a Windows 7 issue or an Illustrator issue.dual monitors. And i'm on windows so the application frame cannot be toggled.
I was able to fix it. Detached the application and then resized the scrunched window. that seems to have done the trick. Weird since I had never squeezed it all the way down like that.

I am having the same problem with texts not appearing on my online text log and have also noticed a huge increase in data since my two sons have had their iPhone 5s. I have the iPhone 4. Two problems here
iPhone users DO appear. In the posted questions and response below, you indicate that if we are all using iPhones then we are not using the Verizon network but using data. HOW DO I STOP THIS DATA USAGE AND RETURN TO USING THE NETWORK? I can't afford the data charges that I am getting.. HELP!! and Thank you.

If you are all using iPhones, then it's likely the texts are going through iMessages and therefore use data. Since the texts are not using the Verizon network, but the app, they do not show up in the logs. The app is not specifically blocking the texted numbers from showing up, but the information comes through Verizon as data usage, not numbers texted.Sparkyjames81,
Lets figure out just where those texts are going! There are many apps that can be downloaded from the Play Store for Android phones that will allow messages to be sent over the internet, and therefore they are not actually text messages and will not show up in our records. Even Facebook has their own messaging app available that does this.
If you have an iPhone, they come with a service called iMessage that allows for messages to other Apple devices be sent via the internet, and this will also not show up on our records. These are all ways to bypass our actual texting services, and since these messages are not being sent as texts they do not show up on our records.

They are linked to your account, but they are also tied to the country that they were bought in - you won't be able to potentially redownload them unless you move back to the US and have a US billing address on your account (you have to be in a country to use its store, including redownloading past purchases).
Have you not got a backup copy of all of your downloads/library that you can copy them back from ? Even if you hadn't moved countries any item could be removed from the store at any time by the rights-holders (you are only guaranteed one download of any item), you should be keeping and maintaining a backup copy. -
I have a simple column chart grouping on 1 value on the category axis. For simplicity's sake, we are plotting $ amounts grouping by Month on the category axis. I right click on the data series and choose "Add calculated series...". I choose moving average. I want to move the average over at least 2 periods.
When I run the report, I get the error "Formula error - there are not enough data points for the period". The way the report is, I never have a guaranteed number of categories (there could be one or there could be 5). When there is 2 or more, the chart renders fine, however, when there is only 1 value, instead of suppressing the moving average line, I get that error and the chart shows nothing.
I don't think this is entirely acceptable for our end users. At a minimum, I would think the moving average line would be suppressed instead of hiding the entire chart. Does anyone know of any workarounds or do I have to enter another ms. connect bug/design consideration.

DanI was having the same error while trying to plot a moving average across 7 days. The work around I found was rather simple.
If you right click your report in the solution explorer and select "View Code" it will give you the underlying XML of the report. Find the entry for the value of your calculated series and enter a formula to dynamically create your periods.

What I'm doing here is getting the row count of records returned in the chart. If the returned rows are greater than or equal to 7 (The amount of days I want the average) it will set the points to 7. If not, it will set the number to the amount of returned rows. So far this has worked great. I'm probably going to add more code to handle no records returned although in my case that shouldn't happen but, you never know.
A side note:
If you open the calculated series properties in the designer, you will notice the number of periods is set to "0". If you change this it will overwrite your custom formula in the XML. -
I recently had to wipe out my phone and lost everything! I have been able to recover all apps, pics, songs. Lost alot of my contacts due to me not backing up my info to icloud more often. (my mistake) However, I cant find any of my purchased ringtones. They are not showing up in my purchase history on itunes either. I do have the receipts for all of them tho.

Have you got copies of them in the Tones section of your computer's iTunes library or in the backup of your downloads that you can use to re-sync them to your phone ?
