1.how to use siri in pakistan. siri doesn't respond to my commands at all and shows no answers. even i tried to use it when internet( wi-fi) is on. what to do?
2. to delete any apps. following operations is explained. but my phone dont show the cross or "x" in the corner of the app. how can i delete such apps that are not factory installed..
Touch and hold any application icon on the Home Screen until the icons start to wiggle.
Tap the "x" in the corner of the application you want to delete

Restore the phone from backup. If this does not work, restore the Phone as a new device not using backup at all.

Make sure Siri isn't restricted. Settings>General>Restrictions>Siri>On
Then check Settings>General>Siri>On>Voice Feedback>Always
if the settings are OK, reboot the iPad,
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
Or try Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings. no data is lost, but all settings will have to be entered again.

It is not properly connected to the network.
Make sure location is set correctly
DNS should be on auto (settings - general - network)
Try ethernet
Signal strength on device won't account for issues, you would need a network report from istumbler, netstumbler or similar. This will show accurate signal strength along with noise and nearby networks

HT201406 Lost my iPhone in the toilet, touchscreen doesn't respond. What to do?

So i managed to drop my iPhone in the toilet..
Worked for a few moments, but then the touchscreen stopped responding, which lead to not being able to turn it off. The power button was half jammed from earlier that week, and in the desperation of flickin and clickin it got stuck. It later turned off due to empty battery.
It was a stessful day, and i only had time to put it in my pocket rolled inside some tissues and hope for the best.
Before bedtime i put it in a drying room. It was there till around 9am next morning. I had to turn it on (via charging it) because my train ticket was only available on the phones app. The phone turned on normally and wasnt icy cold or too hot, the push notifications popped up on the screen and the screen was lit up as it should. The only problem was (and still is) that the screen isn't responding to any touch. Siri is working and can do some tasks, but as you'll understand i need the screen aswell.
This occured 2 days ago, and the screen isn't functioning yet. The phone is dry like a desert, and everything else is as it should.
Any suggestions?

Probably Your Touch screen input is damaged. Visit nearest apple service centre and replace it.

Siri works well but I get no response when I raise the phone to my ear. Am I missing something?

I'm having the same problem. My 3G is not locking when I hold the phone up to my ear and my ear is hitting mute every time I begin a call. This just started a few days ago and haven't had any luck fixing it.

Do you happen to notice a pattern to the blinking lights? Maybe a series of flashes and then a pause? How many flashes between each pause? This information could point to specific error that we can troubleshooting. Also, since I'm asking questions: What operating system are you using?

I'm sorry to hear that you are having issues with your iPhone. I also apologize, I'm a bit unclear what issues you were having that led up to the attempted Erase All, and/or exactly what behavior you are seeing now (restarting, not responding at all, etc). If you are seeing an Apple Logo screen and your iPhone does not appear to be starting correctly, you may find the following articles helpful:

I'm thinking of getting a noniphone and want to make sure that as long as I keep my sim I can use the iPhone as a iPod touch including FaceTime and I'll be able to upgrade to newest iOS whenever it comes out?

TS4079 siri does not respond

My iPhone 5 no longer seems to 'hear' me. Siri doesn't respond and the voice to text functions (imessage, texts, search, etc) no longer work. The little dots come up after you speak - it just never responds.... help.

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray BEFORE doing the reset.

Solved it finally after a long time.. I was triggered that another user on the same system did not have the problem I scanned my user library folder: The problem was an old safari extender plugin in my Contextual Menu Items folder. After removal all is working again :-)

It will be locked to mobily telecom, and according to Apple's list of supported carriers and their features (http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1937) they do not offer unlocking. Since only the carrier it is locked to can unlock it, you have bought a useless phone.
