I am using Mail for emails and I seem to have two different windows that switch between the two. The emails are the same but the second window opens when I click on any details and I cannot see the top of my screen with control icons for internet, file
I am not very tech savy and apologize in advance if my question is not clear. I use the Mail application on my mac and I have two users on my computer, one for gmail and another for my work email. All email addresses appear in the mail application on one page. When I open my email and click on a message it often goes to the other user screen and cuts off the top of my screen which shows the bar for Chrome, file, edit, view, history etc....Still functional but very annoying. How do I choose a user screen and stop having it switch back and forth.

my microsoft word will not open. when i click it, it says microsoft word cannot be opened because of a problem. then goes on saying, check with the developer to make sure microsoft word works with this verson of Mac OS X. i would like to find out how i can fix it myself if its possible. can anyone help?

For some reason when i click on to a new site or link, tabs no longer automatically open so if i forget to manually click on the little plus sign at the end of the tab strip, my new destination replaces where i currently was. This was not the case in the past and I cannot find where to reset this so that a new tab will once again auto create. !
I tried options/tabs: open new windows in a new tab instead, but this did not fix the issue. Can anyone tell me what i need to do get firefox to create auto creat a new tab when i move to a new link rather than replace the one currently in use? I can't even find the hbo go or Netflix app on ITunes or the App store. When I go directly to the hbo go website or Netflix website and try to download the apps directly I keep getting the message, "your request Could not be completed." after the message pops up I am then bumped to the App store. Does anyone have a solution?

Multiple new windows opens when I click on any folder in Administrator (user account) folder.
Whenever, I try to open any folder or sub-folder in my Administrator account, it automatically opens new multiple
windows with same folder.
For example, I tried to open a folder in my "Downloads" it automatically opened 2 new windows with same folder contents.
What should I do to open it in the same window?
Is there any way to repair this annoying problem...

Open up Registry Editor, and go to:
HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-xxxxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxxxx-xxxxxxxxx-1000\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\
Delete "Explorer". It will be re-created.
Reboot to see what's going on.

It seems that firefox installed correctly, but then it wouldn't open. I restarted my computer and still the same problem. I uninstalled it and reinstalled it and still the same problem.
Also having the same problem.
I have tried the following with no luck.
*Uninstalling and deleting profile + profile.ini then reinstalling
*deleting the .parentlock file
*deleting and reinstalling version 3.6.8.dmg
*Checked the activity monitor that the application isn't listed as running
*Downloaded addtrap and uninstalled again
all with no luck.
Try some of these first as they might fix your problem but not mine! ;)
If anyone knows of something I may be missing I would appreciate any help.

Thats not possible I'm afraid, only the Apple TV can receive an AirPlay stream, and even then only one at a time, unless you stream from a computer. -
trying to rent a movie and error message pops up saying "item cannot be downloaded on this network. You must connect to wi-fi or download it on your computer". I just finished downloading a rental but I get this message when attempting another. Any help much appreciated
You might want to try it again. It started working for me about 10 minutes ago (~8pm CST).

Cannot see Bridge folder on BlackBerry's SD Card in PlayBook Bridge Files
I have learned that when downloading a file through the messages app on the PB, the file is stored in /Media Card/BlackBerry/documents/Bridge. These files are accessible on the BB through the email the attachment came in. However, I cannot access these files directly through the Bridge Files app as I cannot see the Bridge folder on my SD card. However, if I download an attachment from my BB and select Store on Media Card, it is stored in /Media Card/BlackBerry/documents/ and is fully accessible from the PB.
Any ideas why I cannot see the Bridge folder from the PB? Is that by design? I know it is hidden by default, but I make it visible so it shows in the BB's Files app. If I rename the folder to Bridge2, it is fully accessible on the PB and subsequently loaded documents are in a newly-created Bridge folder, which is again hidden by default.

The linked support article addresses the issue directly (thank you both), but the method recommended there (importing the entire AVCHD folder structure) didn't solve the problem. The small number of videos that iPhoto could not see originally also did not get imported, though the ones that it could originally see, did. Luckily since the percentage seems to be small (~10%), it is not prohibitive to open them one by one in Quicktime, re-export them, and then import them into iPhoto. Hopefully this will be fixed in the future. Thank you all for your suggestions.

Why doesn't the browser open when I click on a link?
I have Mozilla, Internet Explorer and Safari & none of them open when I click on a link to a website thru the "mail" account? Why? I even open the browser ahead of time and they do not go to the site. And it doesn't matter what link I have, NO LINKS Activate These Browsers. Is there something that is deactivated? Plmk and thanks!
In the General section of Safari's preferences, select the web browser you want to use to open the links. If this setting has been changed to no application or one which can't handle web links, such as Calculator, the link won't open when you click on it.

Help! I cannot see the Airplay symbol on any of my devices anymore! I have tried following all guides and troubleshooting, but to no avail. Just cannot use the AppleTV with any of my devices.
Thanks for the link. It didn't work at first on any of the devices but then I decided to enter a manual DNS instead of an automatic configuration. Then followed the steps again from your link and it worked.
It is not stable though as I need to reset the device for it to see the airplay. But when it is connected it stays connected for 30 minutes approx.
Any other suggestions to keep it stable would be fantastic but at least in the meantime I have a workaround.

Hello everyone, Very recently itunes on my windows computer does not let me access any items in my Library except for "Apps" and "Ringtones". When I click on any other items it flashes the redcircle meaning forbidden".
When I connect my iPhone or iPad I can see every items on them but not on the iTunes Library.
They sync fine with iTunes.
I browse all the menus in iTunes but cannot find any clues to what I have done for it to happen. It worked fine previously.

They would only be where you put them. What program did you use to import them? Pics/vids taken with ipod are not part of the sync process at all. You should be importing them just as you would with any digital camera.
If you did not import them, then they are not on your computer. -
