Start by looking around the examples that ship with LabVIEW (if you are
using LabVIEW).
Also look around zone.ni.com for general data acquisition information &
examples. A good site.

I recently downloaded a program ScanFont 5, When I try to open the installer I get the following message: "You can't open the application "(null)" because it may be damaged or incomplete. Is there any way I can get the installer to open anyway?
The message means just what it says. Remove the damaged copy and try downloading it again.
Edit: Looking at FontLab's page, there's two issues going on.
1) It's a PowerPC app and will not run on any version of OS X newer than Snow Leopard, 10.6.x.
2) The "workaround" they offer is to purchase the Windows version and then run it in the the open source Wine, Windows emulator. -

Is there a way to record just the arpeggios and not the notes being played?
I am recording the Arpeggios from my Motif rack ES into Logic Pro 7.2 in midi format but when I try to do this, the notes that I play on the keyboard also get recorded along with the arpeggios? Is there a way to record just what's coming out of the midi out (of motif rack es) and not the keys that you are pressing to kick off the arpeggio?
Either check your Motif's owners manual to see if you can disable the keys or make sure the keys are out of the arpeggio's range and use a transform object in the environment to filter out the unwanted notes.

i plugged my new iPhone into the computer for the first time and it proceeded to restore. i accidentally clicked on the storage saved on my iTunes for my old phone. so now all the storage from my old phone is on my new phone and I can't find any of the storage from my new phone. is there a way to get the pictures and data back onto my phone that i originally had ?
Anything Downloaded with a Particular Apple ID is tied to that Apple ID and Cannot be Merged or Transferred to a Different Apple ID.

Have two 4s's registered under the same apple account. The 1st phone was set up on the computer perfect. The second phone was set up by somebody who didn't know what they were doing and set this second phone up using the same apple id but onto a laptop. How do I know get the second phone to work from the computer and sync the two phones so they are the same?

Can I use a PCI-DIO-96 with HP Vee 5.0
I'm trying to move an HP Vee 5.0 automated test program to a newer-faster-better computer and in to LabVIEW. But for a short time I need to be able to run both programs, to keep up with production during development and to prove the LabVIEW work the same or better. Can I communicate with the PCI-DOI-96 card from HP Vee? If so how?
I have no manuals for the Vee 5.0 and was unsuccessful in searching both websites.If VEE has the ability to call a dll, then you should be able to use either traditional DAQ or DAQmx and communicate to the card. You might want to try the VEE Users Group as I doubt if you'll find many VEE programmers here in the LabVIEW forum.

Where do I get a diag utility for the PCI-6110E?
The PCI-6110E card is giving AO signals of 1/1000 amplitude that is
entered into the vi. This vi has been working for months without errorHi Andy,
I suspect that the control or value passed to the VI in LabVIEW is
configured as (mV) or something similar and the card is actually
outputting what LabVIEW is sending to the driver.
The best way to verify your card is to use Measurement & Automation
Explorer which is a diagnostic and configuration utility for NI
hardware and software. Select Devices and Interfaces and right-click
and run the Test Panels. Here you will be able to output a voltage
waveform on selected channels of your card to verify if your card is
outputting correctly as well.
Another test would be to open up an example program in LabVIEW (Help
>> Find Examples..) that performs analog output and simply write a
buffer out to test the card.
If both of those suggestions still yield val
ues that are 1/1000 then
we will have to do further investigating. Anyway, hope that helps.

I have microsoft outlook installed on my Mac book pro, I can only use the outlook with the office server where it was setup, outlook won't work out of office, is there any way I can reset the settings in order to be able to use outlook every where?
I can see my folders by clicking the X next to my name on the Inbox Folder. So I have my folders now, just cannot see them in the left colum or see multiple windows on Outlook. At this point, I can use the folders, just with limited functionality. Thanks -Gina

No, downgrading from any version of iOS to an earlier version is not supported.

Hi i have an I pod and i had used it as hard disk also. Now when ever i connect it with my Laptop it shows restore to factory setting....i wanted to knwo is there any way i can save the data which i had already stored in the I pod. I dont want to loose that data???
sure pretty simple. make a backup of your current settings

Hi, haven't used iMovie in years. I shot some video with my cell phone camera (Samsung Galaxy S2). When I tried to make a movie, the clips I downloaded played back sideways on iMovie. Is there any way I an flip the video from horizontal to vertical? Thanks.

In earlier versions of iMovie you can also do this using Quicktime Pro 7:
Open MOV file in QT Pro (QT 7.6.6)
Window -> Show Movie Properties
select "Video Track"
select "Visual Settings" from lower window
check "Preserve Aspect Ratio"
Click on appropriate rotation icon (MOV rotates!)
Click back on the open MOV in Player Window
FILE -> Save
