I am victim in the third world

hello to you ; i have big problem after buying an old iphone 5 from guy in market , buy it 250euros after us it 2 days it was blocked with apple ID and password ; how can i do ?

You may see yourself as a "victim", but by purchasing gray (or black) market phones, you're actually participating in and perpetuating a criminal enterprise.
There are a large number of stolen phones sold on the gray market. Why? Because you're willing to buy them to save yourself some money in an attempt to get something you normally couldn't (or wouldn't) pay for from a legitimate source.
You are not a victim, you are part of the problem.
Learn a lesson from this. There aint no such thing as a free lunch.

  • Trying to understand the Mac world

I've had my IMac for nearly 2 years now but have struggled all the way to migrate from a Windows environment. There seem to be so many hurdles to overcome, not least due to the horribly closed Mac universe which has made accessing things like music files, and sharing documents, incredibly difficult.
I've tried the One to One service, and asked questions at the Genius bar and via the Helpline, but rarely get a useful answer. Nice people sure, but I feel I'm dealing with staff that have been weaned on Apple (through Ipods etc) - they know a fair bit about Macs, but seemingly very little about Windows and therefore of limited help in getting from one to another. Try asking someone about FLAC audio files for example . . .
    Some of the sort of issues I'm struggling to sort out include;
    1) In Windows I can use the F4 key to 'repeat last action'. An incredibly useful feature when formatting a number of separate cells in a spreadsheet for example. Yet I can find no equivalent in the Mac world - I can't even see how I might configure my keyboard accordingly.
    2) Having more than one application open on the desktop at a time. For example I open Word (MS Office for Mac), I then open Excel so I can cut and paste a few bits and pieces. As soon as I open Excel, Word minimises and zooms down to the Dock.
    3) Screen sizes. Why oh why does my Mac insist on opening applications in a window it determines the size of ? For instance I open Numbers - on my 27" IMac it opens a window at best about 6" square, complete with tiny, almost unreadable fonts. Is there no way to get applications to open full screen, and in a set font size, by default ?
    4) Screen resizing - I guess this is a feature of the OS (Snow Leopard 10.6) - only available in the bottom right ahnd corner. Just means more shuffling of windows about to use it effectively. Why can't screen resizing be done from any side as in Windows ?
And don't get me started on hardware - why does a 27" IMac get shipped with a tiny wireless keyboard ? Wireless is good for sure, but surely a desktop computer isn't trying to save space to the extent that ones loses the numeric keypad, and worst of all, the DELETE key (aaagagahgha). I've had to buy a wired version to get the functionality I need (along with some accesible USB sockets). And then there is the card reader that can only cope with SD, the USB sockets helpfully out of easy reach round the back (makes using a datastick a real pain) . . . .
Perhaps I shouldn't have gone down the Mac route (but now I've got an IPad too so heaven help me) . . . .

    A couple of answers:
    1. Microsoft Mac Office apps use command-Y for repeat last action, but that appeard to be missing from Apple's own apps, so it might be a Microsoft-specific thing.
    2. The "open Excel and Word minimizes" issue is one I have not seen in something like 14 years of using them on Mac OSes on a few dozen Macs. Sorry. I honestly don't know how to do that, but it's worth asking Microsoft Support about it.
    3. Traditionally, Mac apps open windows in the sizes you left them in; that is, the size at which you last saved the document. I can't think of a better convention. The exception is the new full-screen view added in OS X 10.7 (Lion); you appear to have to enable that each time you use the doc. Consider this dueling conventions: For years, I hates using Windows machines precisely because it insisted on obscuring all the other open windows with the current document, which I found terribly unhelpful, in my case based on experience from older windowing environments.
    4. Lion changes resizing as well: you can now resize from any boundary of a window. Don't know, considering your antipathy to the Mac experience, if it's worth spending whatever Apple charges for Lion in your country for these last two features alone.
If my memory serves, Apple's original wireless keyboard was a full one (home &c. keys, numeric keypad), and the delete with a right arrow key was near th ehome key, as on the wired keyboard. I'm guessing Apple's marketing and focus groups found most people who wanted wireless keyboard didn't care about the extra keys, ("I want to be able to stick this in my backpack") and vice versa for the size of the wired ones, but that is, again, just a guess. There are lots of third-0party Bluetooth wireless keybaord that work with the Mac --- and probably cheaper than Apple's (in every sense of the word "cheaper").
You don't say which card formats other than SD you want to use, but the last micro-SD card I bought came with an SD-sized adapter, for what it's worth.
I have to agree with the inconvenience of using USB (and FireWire, and now Thunderbolt) ports on the back of the iMac, but (a) Jonny Ives like "clean" design (sorry, bad attempt at blaming the issue on a Brit), and (b) brlieve it or not, you get used to roatating the iMac 90 degrees, craning your neck around, and inserting your bit of kit. And if you have an Apple wired keyboard, you can stick USB thumb drives into the ports at either end.
I think most people who've used both Macs and Windows machines for a while agree that the first reaction to the "other" platform is irritation: "Why does this thing not do things the way I'm used to?" Just as I learned not to expect Windows to do things in a Mac OS-like way, I don't expect Macs to do things in a Windows-like manner. Not a great answer, but it's the way it is.
Can't imagine this helped at all, but hope it at least cleared a few things up.

  • I am setting up a Numbers table for gas milage using one column for gallons divided by the next column of miles and having the answer in the third column in miles per gallon.

I am setting up a Numbers table for gas milage using one column for miles and the next column for gallons, the two to be divided to produce the third column of miles per gallon and am unable to find out how to do that.  Add and/or subtract, yes, but not to divide.

...and results in yield signs indicating an error:
    Hi Wayne,
Yield signs must be different in Texas. Here (and in much of the rest of the world) they're white with a red border, and installed with an apex pointing down:
Some still include the word "Yield" (or in Quebec, "Cedez"in black letters.
Maybe you're thinking of the "Warning triangle", which is similar, but installed base down, and often including a symbol in the white space:
These are more common in Europe, with the exception of the portable version, which I've seen used at road construction sites or as 'flares' to warn of a disabled vehicle on the road.
Or maybe you were thinking of this
(Most of these 'slow moving vehicle' triangles have an orange center. This one looked a bit more 'Texas,' though.)
    Cheers,
    Barry

  • Engineer no show! Third world service

After waiting in all day for my engineer, no one has been bothered to call or let me know. Common decency would have suggested an apology at least. I assume I will have to take legal action to recover my loss.
I should add that this was my 4th engineer who was trying to install infinity.
The first one 3 weeks ago said their was a 'loop" on the line and ran off leaving a child like note for me to decipher, he was useless!
I called a phone engineer to remove the loop, but he didn't know what it was so simply left and marked the fault as closed. It was not.
Third engineer has allegedly fixed the loop without attending my address
The fourth engineer simply hasn't bothered to turn up
When you ring in you get told the compuTer is broke and to ring back tomorrow.
When did the UK and BT become a third world country, I am starting a website to embarrass bt into doing something.
Oh, and the 3 complaint e mails I have sent in have been ignored
Next stop of com and legal action
Grow up bt and get someone who has a brain!!!!!
I think this will be deleted.

  • New to the manufacturing world?  Here's a resource that might help...

I've noticed that there are lot of MII implementors who are unfamiliar with the terminology, systems, and processes in the manufacturing world.  I would definitely recommend obtaining this book and reading it from cover to cover!
    http://www.evolvedtechnologist.com/section/books/in-pursuit-perfect-plant-a-business-and-technical-guide
It is written in a format that presents a manufacturing company from many perspectives : planning, operations, maintenance, and others.  While an expert might find it somewhat redundant, I think that many of the less experienced MII consultants would derive great value from it.

[APICS|http://www.apics.org/default.htm], although not as popular as they once were, offers some education and certification (ie, CPIM).  One of the courses "Basics of Supply Chain Management", which is available in [book form|http://www.apics.org/APICS/Bookstore/ProductDetail.aspx?CS_ProductID=4186&CS_Category=&CS_Catalog=APICS+Bookstore] is also a good start.

Hi, I am trying to install Windows on my MacBook Pro with bootcamp. Every time I open bootcamp I am only able to check the first two boxes but not the third one saying "install or remove Windows 7". I did this before using the same computer and the same hard drive so I am not sure why this is happening now but did´t happen then. Any solutions ?

Was your Bootcamp info.plist manipulated to change any options?

  • I am new to the Apple world and yesterday i bought an APPLE IPAD (4th Gen) .. My Question is "Can we connect a flash drive to the IPAD4 and transfer pdf files to and fro"??

    Hi all,
I am a newbie to the Apple World and Yesterday I bought an APPLE IPAD (4th Generation).. My primary purpose is to read pdf files on IPAD4.
    I have 3 questions ..
    1. Can we connect a usb flash drive to the ipad4 and read pdf files from it?
    2.  I am using windows since 2000 and accustomed to the file explorer and file management in it. Can I get such kind of environment in IPAD4 ?
    3. Do I have to sync the IPAD too often?
    Regards,
    Manikanth

Sandisk has recently come out with a device
    http://www.sandisk.com/products/wireless/flash-drive/
Never used it so I can't comment on whether or not it works well. There are very few devices out there that allow file transfer without going through iTunes or via the internet. IMHO, one real weakness of the iPad, great for consuming data, however not very fully featured when it comes to moving data around, especially if that data doesn't come from iTunes or other online source.
there is also a device called a WiDrive
    http://www.kingston.com/us/usb/wireless
that is also a wireless drive for iPads.

Sorry, I'm new to the Mac world. I recently got a new IMAC and installed my Epson CX5800F printer and it worked fine. Then a few weeks later I installed Windows7 through Bootcamp and I think it reconfigured a port or something and now I get a communication error and it won't print. Can anyone help me with this problem, and/or help me get the port back the way it was? Thanks, Barry

  • Can I access an older back up than the third one on the same device?

I have an iPhone 4, 8gb, 6.1.3 ios and one day it was moving slowly so I decided to reset it and erase all data from it. I was sure that my iCloud backed up everything because it was backing up everytime when the iPhone was locked, charging and connected to wi-fi. Recently whatsapp has launched an update which allows users to back up their chats directly from the app. When I saw this new feature I tried to use it, but everytime I received a message which was saying that there is not enough room on my iPhone or on my iCloud to back up my archive. At the beginning I thought that this new feature allows to back up the messages on whatsapp servers or something (don't know why I was thinking like this), so, in that day when I decided to reset my phone, I thought that my whatsapp was still backing up in my iCloud account, as it usual did, so I didn't feel to worry. After the reset, I chose the latest back up from my iCloud account which happened to be on that day, earlier in the morning, and after that, when my iPhone started to download the apps, I realised that my whatsapp was downloading too fast, and when I opened it I saw that all of my messages were gone (1.7 gb of archive). I restore it again and I chose the third back up, which was made three days before that day and it happened the same. While I was thinking I realised that since that new update, my whatsapp wasn't backing up on my iCloud as usual, so now I need an older back up, like a few weeks or a month before that day to get back my whatsapp archive! Please help! Do not tell me to verify my iTunes back up because I didn't back up my files on it. Are there any chances to get that archive back, please ?!

Only one normal iPhone backup is kept by iTunes. It's actually an incremental backup in that only data that has changed is actually backed up. Any other backups, listed for your device, are backups made at restore points. These backups are time/date stamped & are not overwritten. You can view your available backups here: iTunes>Preferences(under the Edit menu in Windows)>Devices.

  • New to the MAC world - can you suggest a new drive for my G4?

Hi, I'm a newcomer to the MAC world after using Windows for years. I'd long wanted to make the switch and now my chance has come I'm absolutely delighted.
At the moment I'm still finding my way around but I already have an idea about upgrade choices and the first is to replace the Hitachi GD-7000 DVD-ROM drive. It appears to be unable to read at least one commercial DVD and has problems with some data CDR/RW's from my collection (the same discs work fine in numerous standalone players and other DVD drives).
Although I live in a "region 2 zone", I buy lots of region 1 films via Amazon and out of 7 discs tried using VLC only one worked (they all work on my PC's) - is this because of regional coding issues such as RCE or rather the Hitachi's age?
I realise that ultimately the drive will have to be replaced and I would appreciate it if you could please offer suggestions on suitable drives.
    Thanks,
    Jay

  • How can I get the third page to show?

I have a track with 3 regions and the last one won't show up in the score editor even though all 3 regions are selected. I believe I must leave the 3 regions unmerged because of some triplets that are misrepresented if I merge them with the rest which is in 4/4.
    https://skitch.com/john-davidmings/ra8fy/saintsaens
You can see that under the first two pages the third[ in Page view] is not showing up. The very short region in between the 2 larger ones are the triplets that can't be merged.
    Any ideas?

Thanks, but this does not work. It only sums the quantities of the individual page.
I want the total of all quantities from the all pages of the report to show on every single page.
Using the example I originally provided, your solution only summed each individual page, so all three pages showed a different number. I swapped out PageSum() with ReportSum() and it gave me the same incorrect results I described in my example.
Using the example above, all pages should read '385' as the total quantity. It should be like the 'Document total' (which I know is a system variable) that shows the same on all pages of a report.

  • I have three Blue Yeti USB Microphones, and when I try to create an aggregate device in Audio MIDI on my MBP it lets me select two microphones but not the third. I need all three for a podcast, any solutions?

I have three Blue Yeti USB Microphones, and when I try to create an aggregate device in Audio MIDI on my MBP it lets me select two microphones but not the third. At first I thought maybe the third microphone was just defected or something but I tested the mic individually and it works fine. It'll let me use two Blue Yeti's and another microphone but not three Yeti's at once.

The problem is that the mac chokes on having 2 identical mics attached at the same time.
Ive had 2 identical USB AT2020 mics connected at the same time on both macbook pro and macbook Air.
The "Yeti" mics, are, lets say undesirable, and low to mid computer consumer mics.

  • How do I have a calendar event schedule to the day rather than date - like the third Tuesday instead of the 17th?

I'm trying to schedule a regular event on the third Tuesday of every month, and can't seem to find a way to do that.

Unfortuneately, there's no way to do that directly on iOS Calendar, which has fairly limited functionality.  It can be done on computer calendar apps such as iCal or Outlook and synced to your Calendar on the phone.

  • How to Deploy the third party EJB 3.0 jar in web application

I have a web application which calls services provided by EJB 3.0 beans packaged in third party jar. How do a configure the ViewController project to deploy the beans to the weblogic server when I run the application rather than deploy the EJB ear as a stand application to the server?
The jar file has already referenced by the project. In the "EJB Module" of project properties I've set the EJB Version property to 3.0, but the Annotated EJB 3.0 Bean Classes list remains empty, presumably because I have no beans defined in the sources of the application. When running the project the EJB jar did not deploy automatically. Is there something wrong? How can I achive this goal?

I don't think this technique will work. I added a META-INF/ejb-jar.xml file to the application, and added a <session> section for one of the EJB 3.0 beans from my third party jar. I specified values for <ejb-name>, <ejb-class>, and <session-type> hoping the rest of the configuration would be determined from the annotations in the class. When the server starts, this warning message is displayed:

EJB 3.0 beans are not required to define business interfaces, as they are supposed to be generated by the container.
Good idea, but still cannot deploy beans from the third party EJB 3.0 jar referenced by my project to the embedded OC4J container. Still investigating.
    Thanks,
    Steve
By the way, I have been able to use your technique to deploy EJB 2.1 beans from third party jars in other projects, just not EJB 3.0 beans that do not provide ejb-jar.xml deployment descriptors, nor business interfaces.
Edited by: user10375549 on Oct 30, 2009 9:51 AM - Added relevant comment regarding technique described for solving problem. It works for EJB 2.1 beans but not EJB 3.0 beans.
