I am wondering why I cannot empty my trash. I keep getting an error code with 8003. Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Hi, I just want to know how to empty my trash because I keep getting this message saying " The operation can't be completed
because an unexpected error occured (error code-8003) I tried looking this up and couldn't find any refference regarding it.
Please help

Why not? Are there error messages? Where are the files located? Why are you deleting MicroSoft Word files?

i figured out a solution if anyone is having the same problem
go to preferences in mail
pick the mail account that is not sending
if your outgoing mail server states it offline as mine did
click the dropdown and than click edit smtp
a window will come up that says account information and advanced
click advanced
renter your password and ok
restart your computer - when it restarts it will send emails

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

Then tap Settings > Safari > and Tap Clear History and Clear Cookies and Data.
Now tap Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar and re-enter your email account credentials.

My Calendar on my iPhone won't allow me to save any events. It says "cannot save event" does anyone know how to fix this issue?

After updating my phone earlier this month to the 5.1 software my calendar won't let me save any events. It displays "Cannot save event" I have tried googling the error and I have tried restarting the app, restarting my phone and even cutting the calendar off and back on....nothing has worked. Any other suggestions???

Select the drive and Finder > Get info and at the bottom "ignore permissions on this volume"
You can copy the files, but the ownership on the files still belongs to the other user account, once your done copying, then perform a #6 Reset Users Permissions and that will set all the ownership to that account.

Another method is to copy the entire folder, then change it's permissions.
