I amend purchased songs in iTunes but the changes aren't reflected on ipad

I buy quite a few songs in iTunes and sometimes I amend track details (such as moving bonus tracks out of the proper album into a bonus tracks album) and these changes are made in iTunes but when I sync the songs to my ipad the ipad music player still shows the original un-edited details. Any idea why the tracks on my ipad have different info than the tracks on my PC iTunes and how to get the ipad to reflect the changes I make in iTunes?

Exactly the same problem here. I've only found a "workaround" by removing the album from my iPhone sync list, syncing, then adding it back and re-syncing

You made a purchase and exhausted the credit on your card before it processed. All purchases are final. Contact iTunes Store support. You need to settle up before you can purchase or download anything else.

It is possible that the files are read only or you do not have permission to delete for the music folder in Windows.
If you go into Get Info for a track, will it let you edit? If not it is probably one of the above.

I made changes to songs on my iPod 4G through iTunes, but the changes do not show up on my iPod.What is the problem?

I have the iTunes program for Windows. Last night I upgraded my 4th generation iPod touch to the ios 5 software, which wiped out all my music. I put some of the music back on my ipod after it was restored, but then I tried changing the song information under the 'get info' option. First of all, I read your original post and I saw the instructions that you used to hide your purchases. With all due respect to pvonk, I'm not so sure I would have understood what he meant when he gave you the directions.
Did you log into your iTunes account on your computer and go into Purchased in order to hide the apps?

HT1473 I have a ton of songs in my itunes that were burned from cd. My computer died so I'm using another computer. The new computer will show all my purchased songs from Itunes, but none of the ones I previously burned from cd

I burned a ton of songs from CD to Itunes and they showed up fine in my library. I bought a new Ipod at the same time my computer died so I'm now using a totally different computer. I logged in to my Itunes from this computer and can see every song purchased from Itunes. What I no longer see are the ones burned from cd.

Does this iPod have the contents of your library? If so see Recover your iTunes library from your iPod or iOS device. Otherwise, depending on the nature of the failure, you may be able to extract the hard drive and recover the media from it. Or you will have to rip your CDs again.
If you'd like access to all your media on any device/computer in future you might consider purchasing a subscription to iTunes Match though personally I just maintain my own backup of my library.

You might try listening to the songs from other devices or systems to make sure it doesn't have to do with your computer specifically.
Also try to preview the songs from your computer and any other devices if possible to see if the preview sounds any different.
If you're still having issues you should contact iTunes support:

Once you get there, choose Music Purchases from the list, then choose Music Purchases again, and it will let you Email them directly about the issue.
Give them the names of the songs you bought and as detailed a description of the audio issue as possible.

There's a book I bought two years ago that's just not a good book and I can't have visible with my little siblings using my iPad. It's not on my bookshelf on my iBooks app, but it is under Purchased Books. I understand you cannot permanently remove these, but I heard you could hide them via iTunes on your computer. So I did that, I went into iTunes and successfully hid the offensive book and so it didn't show up under my purchased section in the iTunes store, nor in my books section of iTunes. Great. I sync my iPad and select apply all changes. When it's done syncing, I check the purchased section of my iBooks, and the book is still there, obviously not hidden. How do I fix this, and why is this happening?

It will always be in purchases, but if you have already hidden the book in iTunes purchases, it will not show anymore.
The only way to delete the book from your cloud list on the iPad is to download and delete.
I told you it was dumb.. Don't try and make sense of it, just do it.

Try a reset: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)

However, when I use my iphone or ipad the old details still show and I cannot access my account.
How do I change my Apple ID on my iphone and ipad so they're all the same?

On your device go to Settings>Store>Apple ID and then click sign out.
Sign back in using your updated details.
