I applied a Photoshop effect to some outlined text - but the outlines still look the same?

1. I typed out the word
2. I created an outline of the word
3. I went to Effect>Photoshop Effects>Texture>Stained Glass and applied
However, if you look closely, the blue outlines ignore the the divots and holes created from the effet.
Is this effect just an overlay? I ask this because this design is for a t-shirt and I want it to look the same as it appears on my screen.
This may sound like a weird question but I'm just getting into Illustrator.

Photoshop Effects produce raster images. You will have to use someting like a Grunge effect using actual vector objects for it to be useful for screening onto a tee-shirt.

Hi there. I'm having the same problem: my iPad won't import some photos from a folder, saying that they can't be read. They are all JPEGS and some photos taken at the same time have synched fine, but out of a folder with 200 photos, it only lets me synch 37. I'm synching albums created via Photoshop Elements 6, which has worked fine until now.
I've tried deleting all photos and re-synching, and have also deleted the iPod Photo Cache, but it hasn't made a difference.
The iPad auto-updated to the latest version of iTunes, so maybe that's what's causing it?
Any advice gratefully received!

I tried to update and it keeps telling me to get the Application Manager. And this is what happens

Kindly refer : CC desktop lists applications as "Up to Date" when not installed.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new). Try each of these in order until the issue is resolved.
Apple has never supported downgrading of the iOS.

For Photoshop CC:
You may install software on up to two computers. These two computers can be Windows, Mac OS, or one each.
If you install on a third computer, it will request you to de-activate on the other two computers. You can then reactivate one of the previous two computers, and use Creative Cloud apps on it.

PPro CS6: Effects used on Adjustment Layer not the same as direct on clip

I'm using the PPro CS6 Demo on a Core i7 with 12GB Ram, GTX 580 1,5GB on Windows 7 Ultimate.
Today i applied the gaussian blur filter to some clips to remove the moiré pattern in the downscaled videoclips - as I do it quite often with PPro CS5. It removed the pattern as it's always doing - fine.
Then I remembered the new Adjustment Layer function within CS6 and tried this in the same sequence, with the same clips and the same configured gaussian blur filter. The moiré pattern slightly improved, but the effect wasn't the same as before. It seems that applying this filter on a clip or on an Adjustment Layer isn't the same?
I didn't tested this with other filters, so I can't say if the gaussian blur is the only filter affected.
Anyone has a similiar experience or can explain this?

There is a very common misstatement and misunderstanding of how adjustment layers work, which I'll repeat here: "Applying an effect to an adjustment layer applies the effect to all layers under the adjustment layer."
That's wrong in a subtle but important way.
What actually happens is that applying an effect to an adjustment layer applies the effect to the composited result from all of the layers under the adjustment layer.
This is an important distinction, because it puts the adjustment at a different place in the order of operations in the rendering pipeline.
Anyway, that's a long and perhaps overly theoretical way of saying that, yes, you may see some difference between applying an effect directly to a bunch of clips compared with applying the effect to an adjustment layer over that same bunch of clips.

Two effects concurrently? all together. at the same time?

So- I'm trying to have three effects happen at once. quick Fade in- outline float - then slow fade out.
the fade in is the only thing that looks how i want it to. it fades in evenly all at once. The fade out fades from screen left to screen right. is that because I have it as a long-long slow fade? Can I make it fade all at once instead of left to right?
I'm having the text fade and after a few seconds of fadeing the outline float kicks in. so both efects are supposed to happen at the same time. am i asking too much?
I made the outline white, so I should be able to see it flow upwards. thats not the case when I import to fcp. but i do see it happen in the canvas window in live type. Is there something else I need to do in order to see this effect?

DaNam and Bogie offer solid advice.
And it's the cancel out message from Bogie that doesn't allow you to have the white outline float up.
To achieve that you need to select your text in the timeline.
In the Inspector click on the Style Tab then Outline and click the Enable box. Then change the color to white and this will allow your outline to be white in both LT and FCP.

Can assign some Enhancement Framework to the same client????

Hello experts, I would like to know that it is possible have some Enhancement Set Framework to the same client.
In transaction sm30 with table "BSPWDV_EHSET_ASG" .I would like to assig different Enhancement Set to the same Client. It is possible?? I think that this is not possible because when I try to assing more than one Enhancement set for the same client. The second is not save in table "BSPWDV_EHSET_ASG".

You are right, we can't have more than one enhancement set per client.If you want to maintain different enhancement sets based on logged in user or some business role, you can implement a BADI-COMPONENT_LOADING with interface IF_BSP_WD_CMP_LOADING_BADI and do something like this inside the method GET_ACTIVE_ENHANCEMENT_SET:

I have downloaded photoshop elements 12 on mac. But the program keeps shutting down and i have to restart it the whole time.

I have tried deleting the program and reinstalling it but it is not working. It is really annoying since I use it for my photography business. I can not work in a program that keeps shutting down.

You must always, always use the uninstaller in the PSE 12 folder in applications. Unfortunately, you broke some stuff by moving the program that way, so now I'm afraid you have a bit more work to do. First, download and run this:
Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
That will not actually remove anything, but it frees things up so you can go around and manually remove stuff. After running it, you will need to scurry around your hard drive and trash all the bits you can find. Start in your username>library>preferences. To see that library, option click Go menu in the finder and it will appear below the little house for your user account. look especially for files beginning com.adobe.whatever. While you're in that library go to the saved application states folder and delete anything pertaining to PSE.
Next you need to go to the library at the top level of your hard drive>library>application support>adobe and delete all the PSE stuff in there. That library isn't exactly hidden, like the user library, but it's hard to get to. The easiest way is to go to the finder preferences>sidebar and turn on Hard Disks under Show these items in sidebar. Then the next time you open a finder window your hard drive will appear in the list on the left side of the window. Click it and the library you want for this will appear in the top level of results.
Finally, after reinstalling PSE, be sure to immediately go to editor>help>updates and update to 12.1, then repair permissions.

Apply CC updates, restart, and CC says I have the same updates again

I have one computer that just refuses to apply updates.
They don't fail, they say their installed/updated. But when I restart the computer, the same 21 updates keep coming back up.
Any ideas?

Here is the solution to this issue:
Go to:
~/Library/Application support/Adobe.
And delete the AAM updaterInventroy, AAMUpdater or anything similar
open the OOBE folder and delete the opm.db file.
Then Go To:
/Library/Application support/Adobe.
delete the AAM updaterInventroy, AAMAdobeUpdater or AAMUpdaterInventory
open the OOBE folder and delete the opm.db file.

After Effects Cs6 Render continuously fails at the same Frame?!

So I was editing a Call Of Duty episode that I've been working on for a week... Once I got it finished I rendered it out and about half way through the render fails every single time! I've read others like these and I know I have enough RAM, but the wierd thing about it is that every single time I don't get an error message... Just "Render Failed." Every single time at about 47 seconds. Please help I have a guy waiting on it and it was my best so far anyways, if any of you know the solution to this I'd be very happy.

You have provided us with no information to figure out your problem. What version of CS6 are you running? 11.0.0? 11.0.1? 11.0.2? What OS? What are your system specs? What's in your comp? What effects have you used? Have you installed any third-party plugins? Have you installed any third-party codecs?
And, most importantly, WHAT IS IN YOUR COMP AT 47-SECONDS IN?

Effect of a Breakdown task on the same preventive task scheduling?

I defined a maintenance plan with strategy for 10 same equipments.Task of Changing one spar part are running every month but after 3.5 month a breackdown order happened for one of this equipment so we changed this spare part at the mid of the month .Now how can I apply the effect of this breakdown on last actual date of the task in the scheduling (just for this equipment).
I think call date of the task should be with 15 days delay in the next scheduling for just this equipment but actually I do not know that how acn I handle it.
Kindly provide me with such details.
