You have no legal right to any content you got from your friend, so we cannot help you here since you are performing an illegal act. You need to go out and buy your own copies of that music, either from the iTunes Store, another download store, or on CDs. Then you will be easily able to sync that music to your iPod.
Otherwise, allow the iPod to be erased. You can then put on the music you legally own.

The specific text of the error message is very important here — I'm not sure exactly you're encountering here.
If you're able to connect to your email server and are able send email to other email addresses and if the failures are specific to one email recipient address, then please contact the intended recipient of the failing email, and confirm their address is valid. (This is the way I'm reading your question.)
If you are unable to send any email to any other email addresses and this is specific to your email address, then try the web mail client interface (if one is available) to verify your login user and password, and check with your email ISP for assistance. If your email password works via web mail, follow this Apple troubleshooting guide, then — if everything else fails — I'd probably then entirely remove the email account from Mail.app and re-add it per your email ISP's particular setup requirements. (Some issue with the setup or maybe a corrupt setting in OS X or a problem at the mail ISP servers is a common problem, but this effects attempts to send to all email addresses via that account.)
An email account setup is specific to an email provider, unfortunately. If you're using one of the more common email ISPs, then there are usually setup guides and frequently-asked questions posted online.

It's difficult to do more than guess when you don't say what version of OS X or Pages you're running, but if you're on the latest, have you tried the Share menu -> Send via Mail command?

I have gone to the download screen on the iTunes app and under each song it says "download error. Tap to retry". When I tap to retry a song a message pops up saying "this song could not be downloaded at this time." And it gives me two options. Either done or retry. I have tried to download them many times. I signed out and signed back in on iTunes, restarted my phone, and even checked for any updates. Nothing seems to be working. They charged the money from my card but now my songs won't download. I would be concerned too if the songs I purchased from iTunes were not downloading to my iPhone. You have taken some great troubleshooting steps already, and thank you for providing the details of the steps you too. I have a few additional suggestions to get it downloaded to your iPhone.
First, I recommend checking to see if the download was interrupted:
If your download was interrupted using your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
From the Home screen, tap the iTunes app.
For iPhone or iPod touch, tap More > Downloads. For iPad, tap Downloads.
Enter your account name and password if prompted.
Tap the blue download arrow to resume.

For example, if you are using the cellular network, you could switch to Wi-Fi, or you could try an alternate Wi-Fi network. Thunderbird Issue. Thousands of inbound e-mails from "Mail Delivery Failed" from people to whom I've never attempted to send an e-mail.

All inbound e-mails are going directly to "TRASH" how do I fix this? I also have has thousands of inbound e-mails from "MAIL DELIVERY FAILED" involving people to whom I have never attempted to send an e-mail. Whats the cure? I have to use Time Warner as an internet connection and there is a duplicate of about half of what I'm getting in inbound traffic on Thunderbird.

The trash issue is most likely the SPAM tool that comes with your anti virus program. Try disabling the tool in the anti virus suite and see how you get on.

I can't download Firefox. Windows is blocking it, saying the source is not registered.

I am trying to download Firefox, but Windows/Internet Explorer 8 is blocking it...saying the file is not registered/certified etc. I tried to upload the certificate, but it still won't let me do it. Seems like another Microsoft attempt to stop people from using competing software. How can I get around this so I can start using Firefox?

If the above doesn't work, your issue may be caused by Firefox files left from the previous install.
In this case, please delete the Firefox installation folder, which is located in one of these locations, by default:

To clarify - I have purchased a physical copy of a movie which came with another physical copy which contains the digital copy. The digital copy is on the DVD, all I need is just to transfer this file to my iPod Touch, for example, I'm not trying to download it from the store or repurchase it and it's not any gift code that I've received, the digital copy is on the disc. This is the first time ever that I've purchased something on a disc and I'm not allowed to access it because the disc hasn't been purchased within my country.
So again - I'm not attempting any purchase or download any purchased digital copy - it's on a DVD I own physically so... why is even the region of my Store relevant, the code I enter is (as I assume) just supposed to check if it's a legal genuine copy (which it is, as I've said - there are 6 discs in the pack: 3 movies on 3 Blu-rays and 3 DVD containing these digital copies of them). If I own it, I think that's proof enough that I have the right to use it. I just don't get it. We do have a place in the UK which we could use as an address, but for various reasons it gets a bit complex even though we still have a UK bank account. We moved to France when there were no iDevices and apps around, just bought the occasional music, so it wasn't a problem. Funny thing is I can't even download the free UK bank app because it's not available in the French store .
I'll live with the problem for now as we plan to move back to the UK in a year or so - we miss the weather .
