I attempted to download the Lightroom 4.3 update but nothing happened
I just purchased Lightroom 4. After installing I was prompted to download the 4.3 update, but when I clicked on Download, nothing happened. I tried 4 times. I have a Mac Pro running 10.6.8
SOLVED THIS MYSELF (...sort of, anyway.) I had been using the Firefox browser, which is normally more compatible with downloads, but after reading an old reply to a similar question I tried the Safari browser and it worked first time.

The following Knowledge Base article addresses the very issue you're describing:

Check for .dll files
Go to C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes and C:\Program Files\iTunes and look for .dll files.
If you find QTMovie.DLL, or any other .dll files, move them to the desktop.
Reboot your computer.
Note: Depending on your operating system, you may only have one of the listed paths.
Uninstall and reinstall iTunes
Uninstall iTunes and all of its related components.
Reboot your computer. If you can't uninstall a piece of Apple software, try using the Microsoft Program Install and Uninstall Utility.
Re-download and reinstall iTunes 11.1.4.

My current iPhoto'11 version is the 9.2.1 one. I just attempted to install the 9.2.3 update, but all I got was an Alert sign stating that "iPhto 9.1.0 or later is required to install this update." I then tried to download the 9.1.0 update, with the same fruitless results. What can be wrong here?
Put iPhoto back into the Applications folder, not in any subfolders, and ensure it's named iPhoto or iPhoto.app.

Hi Chris, I know where to check for updates but after I agree to terms conditions etc it asks to restart the computer before it can start downloading. I do that and it keeps repeating the process?

I have 3.3.2 installed. Have downloaded the 3.4.3 update, but when I launch the update it tells me I need 3 installed, and quits
Already tried deleting some prefs in the library folder but still not good.Aperture needs to be installed in the Aplication folder and named Aperture for the update to see it.

I am updating my school's operating system for my iPads. I have been able to complete 2 carts of 30 (60 total). The next cart I was able to download the IOS6.3.1 update but it states the install is not available. Good internet connection. Please advise.....

After plugging in my iPhone 4s to iTunes it asks me to update my software. I went to update to the latest iTunes software, download went fine but when completed, I couldnt open iTunes. I uninstalled and reinstalled again and its happening again. I click on the iTunes icon to open but nothing happens? (Im a WindowsPC user)
Restart Computer.
Refer steps here to delete SC file(s):

Then proceed to repair your QuickTime. START > CONTROL PANEL
WinXP - Add n Remove Programs
Win7/Vista - Programs n Features
highlight QUICKTIME and click CHANGE then REPAIR -
When I open iPhoto this appears- "Your photo library is either in use by another application or has become unreadable" I have not used iPhoto before on this computer. I downloaded iPhoto Library Manager as suggested but nothing happened. What should I do?
I think the usual advice is to use the Rebuild command in Library Manager.

Its a 5.3 GB file. It might takle a while to download.
When done, it may open automatically, but the file will be in your apps folder

And just what sort of changes in "appearance" did you expect?
If you can access the editing, conversion, and/or properties options once a file is loaded then the QT 7 app has been upgreaded for "Pro" use. -
When I attempt to download the lastest version of the iphone 4 OS update or the itunes one for the desktop, the file is too large for my internet carrier. It will allow only a 400 MB download versus the download size of 583 MB. Suggestions?
You can download on your work computer, then place the file on your desktop of your home computer, if you want. Then:
Launch iTunes
Option+Click (Mac OS X) or Shift+Click (Windows) the Update button
Select the IPSW update file you just placed on your desktop
Let iTunes update your hardware to the latest version
The .ipsw file is located here:
Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates
Windows Vista & Windows 7: \Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\iTunes\iPhone Software Updates
You will have to turn on "Show All Hidden Files & Folders" to see it. -
The AirPrint from ipad2 to hp printer was working fine. All of a sudden the function no longer works! The ipad2 recognises the printer and even sends the print command. The printer centre say 'printing' but it remains syptuck in that position and no printing occurs. I've reset the wireless connections and deleted printing queues and reset the printter to original settings. The printer is found but nothing happens! Can anyone help out?
ccrobin I’m sorry your having this much trouble with this printer . Hopefully this step will fix your problem try a partial reset.
Ccrobin have you tried to connect a USB cord to the printer directly to the computer to see if it has the same issue?

I have iTunes on my old PC with Vista and it works fine. Now I need the newest version for my new PC, but iTunes does not seem to have kept up with Windows development. Do I need to turn off Norton? But the download window disappears like lightning! I have searched the PC for the file, but it can't find it. Help please!

Sorry for the trouble. I do not think your Norton product will block you from downloading the iTunes version.
