I authorized my computer for my friends iphone and now her apps ask to use my id to update

I have a pc that my iPhone and a friends iPhone are authorized on. When I recently backed up her iPhone it asked for my id to update apps. I removed the apps from her phone hoping to fix this. She is getting ready to get a new iPhone and I need to correct this.

Working as designed. You did tell it to use your computer, which in turn is tied to your ID.
Will need to set up another computer, or at least log in thru a different account on yours, so a different ID is associated to the iTunes instance.

After reviewing your post, I have located an article that can help in this situation. It contains a number of troubleshooting steps and helpful advice concerning device recognition issues:
iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for OS X
Follow these steps to resolve your issue:
If you haven't connected your iOS device to this computer before, unlock the device and tap Trust. Learn more about the Trust This Computer alert.
Restart your iOS device.
Restart your Mac.
Make sure that your Mac meets the minimum system requirements for your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
Install software updates on your Mac.
If an iTunes update is available, apply the update.
Check USB connections. iOS devices need USB 2.0 to work properly. If you're not sure your Mac has USB 2.0 ports, check the computer's specifications.
Disconnect other USB devices and connect your device directly to a USB port on your Mac.
Try another USB cable.

Could you tell us a little more about what you want to do. Bear in mind that iTunes has nothing to do with your iCloud account.

Thanks - but it is not that simple. the sim cards are in the right phones. my phone recieves calls most of the time, but if it not available then my wife's phone picks it up. we have turned off blue tooth and hot spots and turned phones on and off and this seems to temporarially solve the issue, but then it reoccurs. it did not happen immediately after her sim card was in my phone - it is more recent. we do not have call divert on. it is just odd.

In my situation, the screen simply started exhibiting the same symptoms a few weeks ago (early February) for no apparent reason. At first I thought the screen was dead, but discovered the heat solution by accident. Now I turn it on and keep it from going to sleep until I go to bed. Thank goodness the battery is still awesome on this thing.
I bought it new and still has the original screen, I keep it at home (never below 62 degrees). Coincidentally, this happened a day or two after the expiration of the warranty!! Any help figuring this one out would be eternally appreciated.

Restored iphone and now no apps work

Ive recently had to restore my Iphone 3G and i even backed it up but during the restore process none of my apps came back on my phone. Now when i try to redownload them it says it requires IOS 4.3 but since I have the iphone 3G it obviously only has IOS 4.2. What can I do to get my apps back?

If it's apps that you've downloaded from the App Store that you're having the problem with, but not the Apple built-in apps, then try downloading any free app from the store (as that appears to reset something) and then re-try them - the free app can then be deleted.
