I backedup up my 3GS and restored it on 4S and now Siri is not anywhere to be found?
I got the iPhone 4S on October 14 and have used it this past week. I love it! But I have some really important SMS messages on my 3GS that I really want to keep. The guy at AT&T told me to make sure the old phone is how I want it on the new phone and back it up in iTunes. Then of course, restore the 4S with the backup of the old one. Well, I did and while I have all my SMS messages up until the time of activation of the 4S, I no longer have Siri. I went looking in Settings to see if I needed to just turn her back on, but it is not even there! So my question is is there anyway to get ALL of my SMS messages from my 3GS plus the last weeks worth on my new iPhone????

No, one or the other, but not both combined. You cannot combine iPhone backups, & the restore from backup process is all or nothing.

Just synced my iphone 3GS and now many of my app's won't open on my phone. This was with version 4.3.2. I tried a reboot on my iphone but that didn't help. Any ideas?
this happened to me with my iPhone 4. I researched the problem and found this :
"The reason this happens is because every time a downloaded app is opened it checks for your itunes password for validation that you are authorized to open that app (as it may contain personal info). From time to time the iphone 'forgets' your itunes password. You can fix the missing password by syncing the iphone with itunes or downloading an app from the app store and entering your password that way.”
And to fix it, all I did was download a new app, or delete a current one, I used Facebook, and re-download it.

I updated my IOS on my iPhone 4S and it locked up. I had to restore my phone and now iTunes will not go past the setup your phone screen even though the phone as been restored. How do I get iTunes to go past this screen so I can sync my phone again?
Depending on what iPhone you have when you get to the connect to wifi you should be able to activate your device over cellular data. Try doing a hard reset by holding the home circle button an power button until an apple pops up and the go through the setup again and when you get to the wifi part a option should be setup with cellular data iPhone 4 and above should give this option sometimes doesn't like showing up that's why u have to do a hard reset first

My phone will not come on because it says i need to plug it into itunes, so i did and now it will not restore. I have changed the USB cable, used different USB ports and used a different computer however errors still keep happening. Please help.

Downloaded IO5 to my 3gs and now it wont work
I just tried to download IO5 to my 3GS and now it wont work, boots up in Japanese or maybe arabic and wont let me do anything, was working OK before the download, Itunes says "no sim card present"
Please helpKeep trying. The update server is overloaded. You will eventually get through and your update will continue where it left off.

I probably misclicked when I activated the security lock on the iPhone and now I can not figure out what password I entered. Moreover, I have patches and funky looking phone so I can not restore iphine pres itunes. Please advice.
Your only recourse is to force it into DFU mode:
Turn your phone off and connect your cable to the computer, but not the device just yet. Start up iTunes. Now, hold down the home button on your phone and plug it in to the cable - don't let go of the button until iTunes tells you it's detected a phone in recovery mode. Now you can restore to factory settings.
