I belive somebody sent a virus to my iphone 4 how can i find out if my phone is infected and has a virus and what app are on my device also if there were any devices sent and removed from anthor phone
my phone had 50% battery life and currently on the charger all of a sudden the phone powered completely off and will not power on or reboot I want to how i can look up what applications have been sent to my device
iPhone do not get virus unless your iPhone is hacked/jailbroken.
All 3rd parties apps run in a secured sandbox.
iPhone battery if you haven't replaced it, is a few years old.
You may need to re-calibrate the battery indicator.
Charge to full using wall power adapter, play some graphic intensive game or similar till it switches off by itself, then charge it to full again.

You have to have enabled Find My iPhone on your phone before it was lost in order for it to be located. If you did, you could play a loud two minute sound on it even if it was on slient, as explained here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#/mmfc0f19b5.

How can I find out what is on my macbook that results in continual usage and usage charges from the satelite dish when turned on, even in the middle of the night- which doesn't happen with my other macs?
I have BusyCal installed, but no alarms that I could find.
However, I do think I've found the source of the sound: the Firefox add-on "LiveJournal." It routinely checks my LJ and plays a "ding.wav" file whenever there are new posts to my Friends' page. I noticed that the sound started happening more frequently, but after I closed Firefox, it stopped. But since Firefox didn't have any sound/notification settings on its own, I thought to check the extensions, and voila!
I'm pretty sure the problem is solved, but who knows if the sound will mysteriously return...

I have an iPhone 4S that is a replacement of a defective 4s. When I activated the newer phone, I believe I transferred over everything except pictures (had multiple failures trying to backup and restore). Now the phone shows over 3Gb of data backed up in the cloud from my old 4s. How can I find out what is in this backup? It is preventing me from backing up my new 4s to the cloud due to the amt of data. It may be duplicated info that I don't need or I may want to archive the backup or parts of it like pictures.
You can not access the backup directly.
Did you restore your replacement from this backup?
If so then you already have everything in the backup on your device.
If not, you can wipe the device and restore from this backup:
Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content & Settings

You might try to see if you can change your security questions. Start here, change your country if necessary and go to manage your account > Password and Security.
I'm able to do this, others say they need to input answers to their current security questions in order to make changes, I'm inclined to think its worth a try, you don't have anything to lose. -

Many thanks JEM24 for your help. Ive just spent the best part of six hundred pounds on a new Sony Rx100m2 compact camera, so I have no interest in the Ipods camera at all really. I doubt Ill be watching many videos on it as Im very lucky in that I have a good Android tablet. Its more as a stock music player that Ill be buying the Ipod for, if indeed I do end up buying one. I dont like the idea of paying the exorbitant amount added for more memory space that Apple along with most other companies charge. In fact I read an article on this very subject just yesterday in the tech section of Flipboard. It stated in the article that in the case of the Iphone the actual cost of each additional gigabyte of storage to Apple et al is something in the order of 60p.. This is certainly not reflected in the price us the customer has to pay at the till.. Its for this reason primarily that Apple in particular, because their products do not allow adding expandable memory of your own in the form of cheap to buy cards, that nobody in their right mind buys the 64gig etc Iphones..I am aware that we are discussing my potential purchase of an Ipod Touch here but you see my point. You can also call your credit card company to mail you an itemized list of what you purchased from iTunes Store plus get the information over the phone as well.

If the already running VIs are clones of the same basic VI, open and run with the option "Prepare to call and forget", how can I find out the names and index of each clone?I had an application where I spawned (= ran with Start Asynchronous Call) multiple (reentrant) copies of VIs, and would occasionally "lose control" of them. I needed a way to find all VIs that were running "Top Level" and stop them (so I didn't have to log off from Windows).
I used the Application Property "All VIs in Memory" to get an array of (wait for it ...) All VIs in Memory. I took each name, opened a VI reference to it (simply wire the name string in, as the VI is, by definition, "in memory"), looked at its VI Execution State, and if it was Run Top Level, Invoked the FP.Close and Abort VI Methods. [To prevent the VI that did all this from "committing Suicide", I compared the name string with the current Call Chain, and did nothing if there was a match].
I think you could adopt this idea to do what you need.
