I Book and no IPhone

I bought a book on Itunes but I can't view it on my computer and I don't have an I phone. Does anyone know another way of viewing my book?

If it is a DRM protected book (as is most likely) then it can only be read using the iBooks app on an Apple iOS device or a Macintosh computer. The requirements should have been clear in iTunes when you purchased it.

Lost of all contacts from my address book and my iPhone

I need help please.
I was syncing my iphone today and I realized later on after I plugged off the iphone that I have lost all my contacts on the phone and the address book on my macbook pro.
I want to know how can I get back my contacts either through the iphone or the macbook pro.

When you sync an iPhone w/ itunes, iTunes automatically creates a backup. Thus, I would recommend doing a Restore from the most recent back-up.
Moreover, when you connect ur iPhone to iTunes, make sure you DONT allow iTunes to back-up again. Otherwise, the back-up will overwrite the previous one

How can I sync my Iphone to a new iTunes account on a new Mac Book as no longer have the old Mac Book and im unable to use the same Apple ID, I want to sync music to my Iphone from my new Mac Book, new Mac Book and iphone in same Apple ID???

Basically, my iphone has been in the same apple ID as my dads iphone and mac book, so my iphone has always been synced to his macbook. I bought myself a mac book the other day and want to sync my iphone to it. However i have obviously put my mac book in a different apple id as i know pay for things i download myself, how can I sync my iphone to my mac book without losing all the music and pictures on it? ive now put my iphone into my new apple id thinking this might help? ive also tried clicking 'manually manage music and video' but this doesnt seem to work, it basically says you have to erase your iphone to sync to a new itunes!

You cannot. Copy everything you want form the old computer to the new one, then sync it.

Correct Iphone will sync, or manually manage, with one and only one computer/library at a time. Syncing, or manually managing, to another will indeed erase the current content.

There is no playlist for iBooks, butther eis nothing to preent you from choosing to download specific titles from itunes, or syncing just specific titles to an individual device.

You got the new iphone????? I have same problem. I transferred audiobooks to device to find no audiobooks on device (despite it being in iTunes as if it was). Have you found a solution????? I even tried to change import settings on format transfer but hasn't worked.

How do I do this in the future so this doesnt happen? Its a lot of work to now manually erase them from each device and it sent my phone over capacity.

I dont see the difference in the posts. I dont think theres anything inaccurate or misleading about what I wrote. The items were immediately added to my ipad and my iphone, even though I have them both set to sync only select items. As soon as I added new titles to my itunes library, they were immediately added to the devices. Not on the next sync. Immediately. Both devices were plugged into the computer at the time. Sorry if I failed to mention they were plugged in but I dont see the signifigance youre making out of it. The problem persists anyway.
Now that I did a test without the devices plugged in, the new items were still added as soon as I plugged my devices into the computer ( I do not have them set to sync over wifi).
Since I have both devices set to manually select items to sync, of course I want to manually select new items to sync. For instance, I am not going to read any of these magazines or books on my phone, ever, and I dont want to waste valuable space with them.
So I'm trying your advice:
I just tried deselecting sync books. It erased all content from ibooks on my device. I then dragged
one title onto the device, and it just goes back to syncing select books, with the one title selected.
It appears that wont work to solve my issue. The next time I add something to itunes it will be put on my phone. Is this really something most people want? To select to manualy control what content is synced, but then have things automatically added. It seems inconsistent to me.

You are making some progress with setup of wireless network. Apparently there is reliability problem with the wireless connection. Perhaps you want to refer to following Apple support documents and start tweaking parameters in the router to improve the reliability. I used to have third-party routers such as Belkin and Netgear but switched to Apple Airport routers (Time Capsule then Airport Extreme for now) because of incompatibility issues whenever Apple upgrade Mac OS X. But since Apple develops Airplay protocol as alternative to Bluetooth for wireless audio/video streaming (with much better bandwidth) and must be deployed in any wireless network, there is no reason third-party routers not working for Airplay protocol.

2 iphones upgraded to io6 now recieving the same messages on both phones, also. cant get on safari, itunes store but can get on face book and poker.

Since upgraade, If I send a message to hubby on the 4 phone it bounces back to me and says it from my number, if 3 of our kids, who are not on Our itunes account and dont live here send a message it comes to both of us, If I send message they confused as to who it came from. Yesterday message from a stranger asking about something we selling, his messages were meant for 4 phone and came to my 4s as well, if hubby take a photo and send to some one I get it as well. Itunes not working at all, safari, not working , face book and zynga do work how ever. How can I fix this. Telstra said it itunes problem which I agree, Problem was not there before io6 up grade. but messages from hubby mates dont come to my phone, is it only strangers whose number we dont have and the numbers that we both have which would be our kids. I appear to have done what I should to move to iCloud on my Mac, MacbookAir, iPhone and iPad. Using Outlook 2011 on the iMac and unable to sync contacts between Outlook and my Apple Address Book and iPhone over the cloud. I gather lots of people have the same problem but some appear to have solved it... any ideas?
Also, in some sync, I managed to duplicate the entries on the Address Book on my Mac, whereas the iCloud Address Book is ok. How can I replace the Address Book on my computer with the one on iCloud?

Hi Lucy, I had the same problem with Outlook data sync. Once you've enabled iCloud all your contacts are moved to iCloud and are no longer stored on Mac, that's why Outlook cannot reach them - there is simply nothing to reach as data physically stored in cloud.
I use SyncMate to solve this problem. This app allows connecting and syncing numerous devices and accounts with your Mac and they have recently added iCloud into this list (here the page where they describe sync with iCloud http://www.sync-mac.com/cloud-sync.html ).
This is how I established sync of my Outlook data with iCloud via this app.
1. SyncMate syncs only that data which is located on your Mac so you will need to move your contacts back to Address Book on mac from iCloud and disable iCloud for contacts (in order they were stored on Mac, not in iCloud).
2. You install SyncMate and add iCloud as a new connection (depending on data you want to sync you need to choose "Cloud contacts" or "Cloud calendars" connection in SyncMate wizard and log into your iCloud via SyncMate). Once you've done this, you can sync data on Mac with iCloud via SyncMate.
3. I may assume that automatic sync option is enabled in Outlook preferences (as previously your contacts on Mac were synced with Outlook). If no - please, enable it (got to Outlook preferences).
4. Once all this done, data will be automatically synced betwen Outlook and iCloud (latter via SyncMate). The trick of SyncMate is that data is physically located on your Mac (thus ensuring it will be synced with other devices and accounts SyncMate supports, as I said before, SyncMate works with data which is located on Mac), but you still can have it in iCloud (sync will be performed via SyncMate, no need to enable iCloud itself).
5. And of course, you will be able to sync your iPhone contacts with your Mac (SyncMate supports sync with iPhones also). These contacts will be also synced to Outlook.

You need OSX 10.7.2 or higher in order to access icloud. The mobile me account is now defunct (it closed down more than a year ago).

Set up an additional user account and use one for work and one for personal stuff - each will have a separate address book. Turn on fast user switching for easy switching between the two.

Iphone Sync deleted all contacts on google, Mac Address Book and Itunes

I have my phone synced to my google contacts. I did a sync trying to sync itunes, google and my address book and now everything has been deleted. I created a back up a month ago but when I do a restore from back up, it still does not give me my contacts, some how it is still syncing to google which is now blank. It's weird because the restore even gives me texts and photos I had on the back up date but it won't give me the contacts. I have tried changing the settings on the phone so it won't sync to google, I even changed my password on google hoping this would stop teh sync & allow the backup to show my contacts. I have tried using an iphoen extractor as well but since my phone is not jailbroken I am unable to use the file. I would appreciate any help you can give me.

You should be able to:
Backup the device to the new windows installation
Transfer your purchases into a newly authorized library
Recover any other media using third party tools as suggested in this post from forum regular Zevoneer
Restore the device from the backup
This process should switch the association of the device to the new library, preserving the data and settings in your apps.
May also be prudent to attempt a backup to iCloud directly from the device before you start... Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup > iCloud Backup > On. It won't save any media but it would preserve the general account settings and documents in case anything goes wrong while you are trying to extract your other data.
When you get it all fixed, make a backup! (Windows tip). For a Mac use Time Machine or Carbon Copy Cloner.
