Try these basic things and see if the keyboard goes away for good.

I have downloaded ios7. Books in kindle have no content. Previously in New Zealand we were unable to get iBooks so used amazon/kindle

My "movies" are actually music videos. For most it shows a screen grab and I can identify a majority of the videos by that. But for some, the screen grab is just black. I have no way of knowing which video that is. Titles are definitely needed.

The app may not be iOS6 compatible. Have you tried to reset it? HOld down the sleep and home keys, past when you see the red slider, and unitl you see the silver apple. Let it reboot and see if that helps. If it doesn't, then I'd contact Kindle and see when they're going to update their app or if they even know there's an issue. Unfortunately, the burden is on app developers to be compatible with the operating system, not on the OS to be compatible with millions of apps. So it's up to them.

The exif data is stored in the photo and will always remain there unless the user removes it.
Relying on the backup of the iPhone done via iTunes to backup the photos is a start in the correct direction but is ultimately not very smart. Keep in mind that backups can only be used for restoring to another iOS device. Apple does not support any method of extracting specific data from the backup.
Copy the pictures off the device as would be done with any digital camera.

Assuming you have the current kindle app....
Close the app fully. Double tap the home button to see the task bar, then touch and hold any of those icons until they jiggle, then close them by touching the minus sign. Then reboot. Press and hold the home and sleep button until the apple logo appears. Ignore the red slider. Then try again.
If that does not do it...
Log onto amazon through safari, and check your account. Happened to me, and the cause was that the credit card on file with them had expired.

Before I purchase Flash CS5 Classroom in a Book (Kindle edition) I want to be certain that the tutorial files included with the book's print edition are available online for the ebook edition. The location should have a URL with the form www.peachpit.com/ebook/ISBN, where in place of the preceding ISBN there's a number. For example for the Actionscript 3.0 Classroom in a Book the ISBN is 0321718062. According to the Kindle Store the ISBN for the aforementioned Flash CS5 CIB is 0321701801. However, placing that numeral in the above peachpit.com url doesn't yield the files. Can anyone give me the URL for the Flash CS5 CIB tutorial files so that I know they actually exist before purchasing the Kindle edition? Thanks ever so much.

The second suggestion you made gave: HTML listed "Windows explorer".
Do I have to change that to Photoshop CS5 or.....

Kindle does not read epub files. You could try searching the net for a conversion program form epub to mobi. Calibre might do it?

They could only be read by the iBooks app if they have no DRM and if you convert them to .epub or pdf format. But you can download the free Kindle app and read them that way. I don't know what conditions Amazon has for reading one person's books on another person's device -- you should consult the Kindle forums or Help for info on that.

Exporting Children's book to Kindle

I have several children's books that have a wealth of images mixed with text.
They are more like text books than anything else; they are black & white ink drawings (average one per page) with 50-100 words per page. The images need to stay fairly close to the associated text. They are currently 64 pages each.
They currently exist in an older version of InDesgin: How should I proceed to convert?
Am I looking at resizing frames? (In some cases the image is defined as the entire page)
Am I looking at separating the imagines from the text and/or standardizing the images?I currently use a lot of text wraps and would like to maintain that look if possible
Based on what I have read in the forum, It appears I would simply need to upgrade to the current version and use Calibre?
There are some posts that suggests images are resized with mixed results
There is an older post suggesting I would be better off developing the book using PDF?
Also, it is unclear to me: does Calibre let me export directly to the device so I can see the results? or does it emulate the results?
What would be my 'testing' environment be? (given the various screen sizes Kindle supports)

You are under a false assumption. There is almost no chance at all that you will simply be able to go from InDesign to EPUB whether it's for Kindle or any other device. If you have no knowledge of HTML and CSS which what EPUB and MOBI use, you are probably looking at a world of frustration.
I strongly suggest that you upgrade to CS5.5 if you are going to be doing this since it does have the best tool set for it, but that's not going to be enough.

Moving books from kindle app to ibook app - possible?

I've done some research and havent been able to find a way to do this so far but i'd love to be able to have all my books in one place and i prefer the design of the ibooks app. Is it possible to somehow move books from the kindle app to ibooks app?

No, Apple never made such a promise. Amazon, when they released the Kindle, said that most New York Times bestsellers would be $9.99 for the device.

I have not been able to delete books from the Kindle list on my ipad2. Can anyone help?

In the list view, you swipe across the title and the delete button will appear. I believe in the icon view, youbta and hold the book until the little minus sign appears on the corner of the icon, tap that.

Since the new update, the archive feature is missing from the Kindle app on my iPad 2. Any ideas about how to archive now?

Be sure you are looking at the Library of books on your device.
Tap and hold the item you want to archive.
Tap "Remove from Device"
