I bought a $50.00 dollar Itune card and redeemed my card on Itunes and I went to the apple store to get some music and I was asked for my credit card info and was charged not only on my credit card but on the itunes card as well $ 8.65
can anyone please tell me how the **** am I suppose to take care an issue on line or my cell phone if no one at the apple store or what ever if all u do is keep getting a machine, my issue is that i bought $50.00 dollar itunes card and then i went to the apple store to redeem my card at witch time i had $50.00 on my account. so i go to itunes to download some music on itunes so i buy the album Blackstreet/ another level For $ 8.65 and was asked for my credit card infor and was charged the same amount of $ 8.65 toi my card.how can I go about getting that money back on my card?

It's a real problem when you're deployed outside the US and your billing address, though totally correct, is not. This seems to be a common complaint. I think the billing address vs. your present location causes some security concern or similar nonsense that prevents progress.
The only way I know of to resolve this is to contact iTunes Support by email. I have never had to wait more than a day for a response:

I purchased Lightroom 5 and Elements 12 and installed them on a computer. I now have a new computer, and wish to install them on the new one. When I tried to do so, my only option seemed to be Adobe Cloud. When I was asked for my LR serial number, it was not accepted. I have a late 2006 iMac with new Ram installed in late 2011or early2012 . I am currently running lion. Did/ hit something while half asleep and was asked for my recovery password, I didn't know it & not sure what I did after that but it wont boot up just searches with a light grey whit -ish screen. I have just updated my iphone 4s with ios7. Since then i cannot play movies from my netflix app using my av cable to tv. which i baught from an apple store. i get a message saying turn off mirroring on airplay. i dont have airplay or an apple TV. what can i do?

hope this message finds you all in time. The recent Apple TV update 5.1 is terrible. Apple knows it is which is why (thankfully for some relentless user -I have no idea who but I believe it was under threat) they have allowed to sign 5.0.2 again which means you can downgrade your Apple TV 2 and 3 to a 5.0.2 version via iTunes. Who knows how long they will keep the window open but I have downgraded my ATV early this morning. I couldn't post this earlier because I was out all day but I am doing it now.
Here's how to do it:
1) Connect your ATV to your computer via a Mini USB (not included with ATV but included with many other electronic devices) - in order for your ATV to appear in iTunes you must FIRST plug the USB cable to your computer and ATV and only THEN plug the power cable.
2) Download your ipsw restore file from Apple.
5.0.2 (ATV 2): AppleTV2,1_5.0.2_9B830_Restore.ipsw
5.0.2 (ATV 3): AppleTV3,1_5.0.2_9B830_Restore.ipsw
3) In iTunes select yout ATV, hold SHIFT and click on Restore
4) Find and choose the downloaded IPSW file in the Open Dialog Box and hit Next
5) As long as Apple still signs that version the Restore process will begin and will take a few minutes to complete.

i was trying to update my iphone 5 to the new iOS but some how in between it kept crashing. after a few attempts to install the update it automatically gave me the screen to which it was asking to plug into itunes and making the phone disfunctional . i dont have access to itunes and wont for a few more days. can i just take it to the apple store and have them update the phone to where is now functional?

I'm getting my "new" iPad on Friday. I'm replacing my "original" iPad (1). Since I preordered and will be receiving my iPad directly I will not be picking it up from the Apple store, so no set up from them. Can someone walk me thru what I must to do get my new iPad up and running. I want to transfer my info, apps, etc. to my new iPad but I also want to pass on my old one to a family member who uses the same computer. How shall I proceed? Thanks!
If you want everything that's on your current iPad onto the new one, then you can first copy all purchases off the iPad to your computer's iTunes via File > Transfer Purchases. You can then backup your current iPad and restore the new iPad from that backup (a list of what is included in a backup is in this article - it excludes music, videos, synced photos). As the backup doesn't contain the actual apps, just their settings and content, for the restore to work completely you'll need all the relevant apps in your computer's iTunes library - otherwise the restore won't be able to install the apps and therefore their content (which is one reason to do File > Transfer Purchases, if that doesn't copy them over then you can re-download them for free : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519).
The restore won't copy passwords onto a different device, so you will need to re-enter your email, router, and any website passwords onto the new iPad.
Depending on what you want to remain on the iPad, you can then either leave it as it is or log out of your account on it (tap on it in Settings > Store) and then wipe it via Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content And Settings. -

I have purchased a iPad mini online from the Apple store. Since day one I had 2 issues with it. First is that the battery life doesn't last more than 5-6h active usage, and the second one is with the wi-fi. It works properly but after I leave it for a while in sleep mode and try to reuse it, it doesn't want to open a web page or app store or mail (anything connected with the internet search) but it shows that is properly connected with my home network. So I have to turn off the wi-fi connection and turn it on again so it start to work properly. After couple off days this becomed very annoying so I contacted the support via phone and they gave me instructions for return it and that I'll receive a new one without aditional fee. I get the second device in the predicted time but again I have the same issues with the wi-fi and battery life. I will be pleased if someone from the Apple expert team explaine to me what should I do, because I dont find it for normal what is happening. On the Apple official site under the specifications for iPad mini it says that the battery lasts for at least 10h and the wi-fi problem isn't mentioned anywhere. Thanks in advance.

Having said that, here are two thoughts:
1. Did you sign a form when you left your old iPhone with Apple? You might consider reading that form. It may help.
2. You might consider telephoning the Apple Store and ask them about resetting your old iPhone. -
My husband needs a new power cord for his Mac Pro. I went to the apple store and the clerk gave me a power adapter by mistake. He has a conference call before the store opens and I can't get him another power cord. Is there a way to power up his computer?

If you are getting an 'invalid security code' message then is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If it is then you could try what it says at the bottom of that page :
If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorizations have the correct information on file.

Hi, On my CSS 11506, logs are full of these kind of error messages: "NETMAN-5: Enterprise:DOS Attack:Illegal Src -> 5 times". It also generates a trap every seconds, flooding our syslogd and trapd server. The first information one would obviously req
