I have lightroom 5.7 and a macbook pro 10.9.5. Occasionally when I am editing a photo in the develop module, I suddenly get a "file not found" message and the editing ceases to work. There is no "exclamation" icon below the histogram box in the Library module or on the photo in grid view, and the histogram is gone. What is going on? Trying to find it using the "find missing photos" in the library menu does nothing.

my ipod classic got wet back in August.. it seemed to work fine for about a month, but recently is not working at all..screen appeared to get cloudy and then it just stopped working. thanks.
Most likely, water damage.
You can try putting your iPod in a tupperware, half filled (maybe half inch) with rice grains, close the cover for about a week.
If you have done this, as soon as it got wet, higher chances of success, now looks like the water moisture is getting to the LCD screen.
Then you can always bring it to Apple Genius bar, for a an overhaul. (may cost you half the price of a new iPod classic.) -

Is the mute button on the side of the phone switched on?
Also go to settings, scroll to the bottom and ensure that "Keyboard Clicks" is set to on. Make sure that the "Ringer and Alerts" volume is not set at zero in this menu. -
On both my desktop and notebook, sync just stops working and needs to be set up again! Although my account is still there ?
I have windows 7 on both computers and I use the paid version of Roboform (which does not encounter any problems!) So, I really need my sync to work and keep working. Please help......Do you mean that after closing the browser your Sync set up is gone and you need to Set it up again?
This is, generally, because your privacy settings are too restrictive and you are deleting the password of your Sync account.
You can modify this in the Privacy tab of your Preferences/Options window. Select Remember History or Use Custom Settings in the drop down to configure the level that you want. -
ok..so i was on my iPod 5g listening to music and the sound just stopped working. And whenever i turn up the volume it says that there are headphones in. and my iPod is brand new. please if someone can help it would be awesome!

If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

If within warranty (yours is since the warranty is one year) and not abused, Apple will exchange it at no cost. -
Since the new version of Firefox (which I love, esp the reduced menu bars at the top, leaving more web page viewable space), I am unable to use the multi-touch pinch/zoom function to resize pages. the scrolling still works, and all worked fine before.
Is this a bug or is there something I can do to fix it?

MxNot a fix but if it's just a web site here and there that you find yourself using the pinch zoom feature you can use the IE Tab 2 addon to automatically use the ie engine and the zoom works.
You lose the other firefox features on those pages but as I said, if it's just a few sites it's worth a look.
I sure hope the Mozilla community fixes this in their desktop PC version soon. You can't gripe if it's free so I just keep waiting. :)
Their android and iOS version supports it so why not the PC version? -

Exposé and now gestures just stop working?!?

So I had this issue in Snow Leopard where occasionally, in the middle of the day, Exposé, Spaces, and my Hot Corners would just stop working for no apparent reason. Seems to always occur after I return from lunch.
Well, today I upgraded to Lion, and this afternoon am having the same issue, only this time more pronounced. Absolutely NONE of my Magic Trackpad gestures are working now. They do work within applications, but I can not invoke Mission Control, Exposé, Launch Pad, or desktop switching from my Magoc Trackpad. I do not have this same issue with my home machine, (a same - generation 8-Core Mac Pro).
I should add that the trackpad is a recent purchase (just this past Friday), but the seemingly identical (SL) Exposé issue was presenting itself long before.
Any thoughts?Really? Nothing? C'mon guys... I can't be the only one to be having this issue...

Yeah, so right now it can't be formatted because there's no memory to format and it has no partition issues because there is nothing to partition. Can't find any forums that help online. They all say the same thing "1) Disk Mode. 2) Format to FAT32. 3) Restore" but it simply won't allow me to format, FAT32 isn't even an option in the drop down box. It's fairly old to so the warranty has run out. Repairable or time to go shopping?
About the only thing you can try is using the Online Internet Recovery system to reinstall Lion on your Mac over the top of the current install. that will reset all system files and should not touch your personal files or the apps you have installed.
Or iof you have a recent Time Machine backup use that to restore your Mac to that point in time. -

Yesterday, i plugged in headphones, and when i took them out, it said headphones were still in it when i tried to change the volume. Now it cannot play any volume, or take in any volume, unless you have headphones plugged in and the have a built in microphone. Since i got my ipod less than a year ago, will i get a new one for free?

- Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the plug a dozen times or so. There is a little switch in the headphone jack that disconnects the speaker when the headphone jack is inserted. -
