I have an Ipad 2 and I am trying to use the a new component av cable I bought to play hulu on my tv from the iPad 2. I get audio but no video. Can any help?

I have my iPad Video set to "widescreen", but it didn't make a difference when I briefly tried it with a HDMI connection from my iPad2 to my Samsung TV. The video was letterboxed as was the iPad homepage when it was displayed on my big TV.

Overall (at least via HDMI), I was very unimpressed with the process. The picture seemed washed out and the resolution certainly suffered. I don't remember what my test video was, but the results were what one would expect with a SD signal. At this moment I don't see any serious usage of this process for me.

There should be an option (on the left hand side of your iTunes) for your iPod. Then when you click on it you will just need to setup and there will be an option to sync at the bottom right hand corner

Thanks to everyone for the tips on my CS2 question. It turns out in the end it was some plug-in filter software that was causing the glitch, not a lack of an Adobe registration key. As for why he still uses CS2, it does the job for him, so that's all he needs.

Make sure there is no other account using that email. (Try going to https://appleid.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyAppleId.woa/ hitting Reset your password, and then enter the email address.

To get the orange FF tab, go to View > Toolbars > Menu Bar. This should uncheck the menu bar and give you the orange button.
Panorama is a box made of 4 grey rectangles that should be on the far right, if it isn't after you enable the orange FF tab, right click on anywhere on a tool bar that doesn't have anything on it, and you should get a menu with a list of your tool bars that you can check and uncheck. go down to customize at the very bottom and it will open a window with all your buttons. Find the panorama/tab groups button and drag it onto the tool bar of your choice.

If your computer is on one minute before it freezes, than you have one minute to secure your serial number.
click the apple----->click about this Mac ------> click on version----> until you see the serial number. You may have to do this a couple of times if it freezes before you have all the numbers. A camera might help.

By default, ML no longer comes with the Java runtime preinstalled. I believe the route to enabling Java if you are going to need it is to run the Java Preferences app found in Utilities. It will inform you of Java's absence and offer to install the latest version and activate it. On subsequent runs, the Preferences app will allow you to fine tune how the runtime operates.
Note that the new default operation is for the applet plugin to be disabled. You need to enable it as needed and it self-deactivates if unused in awhile. Also important to note that Java comes in both 32 and 64 bit versions and you can set the preferred order. Default is 64-bit but I've had issues with some applets failing to run and have had to switch the order.

Changing devices is no reason to create a new Apple ID.
All content purchased from iTunes is permanently linked to the Apple ID it was purchased with.
To update apps purchased with the old ID, you MUST sign in with that Apple ID.

Hold down the on/off button and the home button for 20 to 30 sec, when the iPod starts and the Apple logo is on the screen release the on/off button but continue to hold the home button until you see the plug into iTunes screen. Connect the iPod to iTunes and you should be good to go.
