I Bought a fairly used iPhone. The problem here is I can download items but I can't update them
If you are trying to update apps that were on the iPhone when you got it, that means that those are the previous owner's apps, you are not authorized to use them, and the previous owner did not do what they were supposed to. When you synced in iTunes did you select your phone in devices on t left column and then click on tones int eh window on the right. When you synced did you tick all tones and tick sync and then click sync at the bottom of the window on the right? Was the ton ein the tones folder in the library folder?

I recently changed apple ids on my iphone and now can not update or download any apps
I recently had an issue with my apple id and icould.
I deleted my original apple id and made a new one with my new email address.
I updated my phone with the info but now cannot update any apps on my phone and I cannot download any new apps?

Make sure your iTunes on the computer is current. Plug your iPhone into iTunes. Let it sync. Then choose "Check for Updates..." from the iPhone's summary tab in iTunes. That should od it for you. -

plug your phone to your computer and itunes will say if there is a software update available for you. You won't be able to get the latest version, I think 3G only goes up to 4.2

the maximum has been created on any individual iPhne. -

Unfortunately, you cannot do very much with your phone unless you get assistance from the previous owner, they should either provide you with the password to unlock it or remove their account from the phone entirely remotely through iCloud.com > Find My Phone. -

I unlocked my iPhone and after a couple of months I did reset. Now I want to use it and I can't . What could happened? It is locked again after my reset ?
How did you do the unlock? If you didn't contact the cell carrier to whom the iPhone was locked and arrange for an official unlocking, then your iPhone was hacked to unlock it and if you restored or upgraded iOS on the iPhone, the unlock has now been removed and the iPhone locked back to the original carrier. Only the carrier can authorize official unlocking.

i bought songs on my iphone and when i plugged in my ipod touch to the computer the songs transfered to the ipod but they can not be played.
it is the same itunes account so i dont know why they didnt just transfer over? any one any ideas what i can do? i want to take the ipod touch with me
