I bought a game plants vs zombies but it doesn't work at all!

I downloaded 2 of these i paid but it doesn't work one is just photos and the other one open a blak window an music and stops there! How can I solve the problem??

I don't know what the two games/apps are, but if they are freezing, then try closing them completely : from the home screen (i.e.not with either of the two apps 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the apps to close them, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work then you could try a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.
If neither of the above work then contact the developer as Julian suggests

I recently bought the first generation ipod touch, but it doesn't work. I've tried restarting over and over, i've tried switching cables too. The apple logo stays on the screen and freezes, it then shuts down and repeats. My laptop doesnt recognize it.

and try making a backup again. If you can't then there is no way of getting the info off the iPod unless data recovery company can do it. Not cheap.

My iMessage read receipts are turned on but it doesn't work for all my contacts

I have iMessage read receipts turned on on my iPhone 5. Several of my contacts also have it turned on. They can see when I read their messages but it's not showing up on my end. Someone explain to me how this is happening and how I can fix it. I have SEVERAL contacts who can see my read receipts but I can't see theirs. It has to be something on my end but I don't see how!

How did the photos get onto your iPad e.g. were they copied to the iPad from your computer ? If not then you should be able to delete them directly in the Photos app on your iPad. If they were copied from your computer then they are removed from the iPad using the same process as you used to put them onto the iPad :
Connect the iPad to your computer and select it on the left-hand sidebar (if you are using iTunes 11 on your PC then control-s should get the sidebar to show) :
On the right-hand side of the iTunes screen select the Photos tab :
If you just want to remove some folders/albums that you had copied from your computer then de-select them on the list :

I don't want to call Verizon because when I do, I'm inundated with calls from them, which I'm trying to decrease not increase. Honestly, Verizon reminds me of an ex who takes a break up badly, and I don't want to encourage continued calls, but I need to know how to stop this.

It does work. The problem is that anonymous call rejection doesn't do what you want it to do! ACR blocks calls from people who withhold their telephone number by entering the ACR code on their phone. "Unavailable" and "no name" callers have not used the ACR code to block their telephone number, so the call comes through. It's a loophole in the regulation and there is no way for the consumer to get around it.
If you feel motivated enough, a letter to the FCC or your congressman asking them to fix the loophole is your best recourse.

if you have other computers in the house, your modem might be blocking it. I've have seen users with the same issue and have experienced it myself. if powering down all computers and devices that connect to the modem do not work, i will have to suggest you call your internet service provider to assist you with your modem.

Anyway, no Flash based games like those cannot be played because iPad does not support Flash. In fact, pretty much no tablets short of the ones running Windows 8 Pro will run Flash based games as Adobe has ceased development of the Mobile version of flash.
It would be better for Farmville and the like to move over to HTML 5 based games that cna be run on most tablets and smartphones

My MacBook pro connects perfectly to the Internet but it doesn't work?

I'm connected to my wireless network perfectly, but the Internet is not working with firefox, safari or chrome. I tried pinging google.com and the response was 4 packets transmitted, 0 packets received, 100% packet loss

I would suggest looking into a Thunderbolt to HDMI connector. In this case, you may be able to use the TV as an external monitor. For this option, please confirm through additional research. I have not tested it personally.
You can also use an Apple TV, which connects with HDMI. In this case, you can use Airplay Mirroring. Not all Macs support Airplay Mirroring, so you need to check first. I have a Mid-2011 27" iMac, and it supports Airplay Mirroring. I don't use it often because my TV is in another room, but I just tried it and it worked.
