And if you have bought a Used iPhone from someone and if Find My iPhone is Enabled on that device then you will have to contact the previous owner to Disable to Activation Lock.

I have downloaded IOS7 on my iphone and ipad and also 11.1 version of Itunes and it keeps asking me to download 11.1. it does not recognise my ipad or iphone despite all updates being current. what is the issue here?

I-tunes ecounters an "unknown error" everytime i try and run it
hello anyone willing to help!
basically, just upgraded to the latest itunes (7.01 i think) and everytime i try and run it, it comes up with the messgae "iTunes has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." ive seen this problem has happened for other people so far, but nothing exactly the same as whats happening to me.
i do not use Norton, my quicktime works fine, i tried creating another user account to see if itunes worked there (after disabling fast user switching)- it didnt. PLEASE help me someone i have a lot of music that i cant listen to :'(thank you paul, that's kind of you to say so.
it's plausible that there might be some disk damage in the area of those songs that might be causing this. if so, running a chkdsk over the drive that contains the files might help with that:

... but if no joy with that, we'd better try tracking down what files the gapless playback analysis is crashing on. the procedure is a bit involved, i'm afraid. see this Roy B post for the procedure:

Bit of a tough one...I have a hard drive, iPod and iphone synced to an itunes on a computer that's been irreparably broken. Just bought a macbook pro and want to try and salvage everything onto the itunes on there. Any ideas?

You will need to contact the app developer if your having problems with a 3rd paty app. See if they have a support forum.

Error 20, 21, 23, 26, 28, 29, 34, 36, 37, 40
These errors typically occur when security software interferes with the restore and update process. Follow Troubleshooting security software issues to resolve this issue. In rare cases, these errors may be a hardware issue. If the errors persist on another computer, the device may need service.
Also, check your hosts file to verify that it's not blocking iTunes from communicating with the update server. See iTunes: Advanced iTunes Store troubleshooting—follow steps under the heading Blocked by configuration (Mac OS X / Windows) > Rebuild network information > Mac OS X > The hosts file may also be blocking the iTunes Store. If you have software used to perform unauthorized modifications to the iOS device, uninstall this software prior to editing the hosts file to prevent that software from automatically modifying the hosts file again on restart.

if your youtube was already running then I would exit out of the application completely by double clicking your home button and then search for your youtube app on the row that will show below and then press and hold down the youtube icon and then click the "X" to exit out of it. Afterwards try to reopen youtube and play a video to see if it works
