I bought a Macbook Pro at the first of this year. Yesterday it started freezing up on me. No mouse control and iTunes just quit automatically? This is my first Apple laptop...I'm a little frustrated. What do I need to do?

This thread and all the followups are hilarious, if it weren't such a serious problem. OP, you may want to add a bit more information on how this drippy screen problem occurs: where do you live, what are the weather conditions, what are you doing with the Mac when it occurs, etc.
Yes, extreme moisture, to the extent of causing visible condensation, is Very Bad News for any electronic device, and more so with one that isn't tropicalized like the Mac. Besides trying to avoid subjecting it to such extreme temperature changes, using some kind of desiccant to absorb close range moisture and avoidint its use until it dried out, I can suggest placing some kind of absorbent material between the display and the keyboard to prevent the moisture on the glass from finding its way into the computer. So my dilema is. Do i go for the newest 13" Macbook Pro Retina & SSD drive or do i go for the 15" Macbook Pro i7 non-Retina, non-SSD hard drive?

If this is a new machine, you have 14 days to return the machine for an exchange or a full refund. Your trackpad should work out of the box and what you're seeing onscreen may very well be settings for the partially sighted.

The Magsafe autoswitches based on detected power. You will likely need a wall adapter to alter ther US-based 3-prong to whatever is used in China.

1) Copy all music files to a thumb drive / external hard drive.
2) Open iTunes on your MacBook Pro (congrats!)
3) Under the File Menu, select "Add to Library." Navigate to the folder with your music in it and click "Open." Bam! Music.

I connected my new iPhone 5 to my (now fully updated after two separate operating system upgrades!) MacBook Pro so that I could add my music to my new phone. Rather than configuring it as a new iPhone, I chose to configure it as my old iPhone, thinking that this would make it easier for my music to be there. WRONG. Look iTunes>Preferences>Devices...is a backup listed for your iPhone 5 dated BEFORE you restored your iPhone 4 backup to your iPhone 5? If not, your data is gone. If there is a backup, on your iPhone 5: Settings>General>Reset>Erase All Content & Settings. You should now be able to restore that backup, if it exists, to your iPhone 5.
