I bought a macbook pro today, but it doesn't have the free upgrade to os x mountain lion?

Initially it showed the upgrade in the app store, but now it's not showing up. I've tried going to the "up to date" apple page but that's not working either. Any other way I can get it?

If it's a non-Retina MacBook Pro, install this 10.8.2 update > http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1581
If it's a Retina MacBook Pro, install this OS X update instead > http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1603
