I bought a movie from iTunes and my iPod was syncing so i thought it would sync the movie too. Well it did but it didnt for some reason I dont know it shows up on my iPod, but its grayish looking and wont let me play it at all. Help!?
So today is Chritmas and everything so I got iTunes Gift Cards ^_^. I go to my computer (PC) and log into my iTunes and everything and see Pitch Perfect so thinking I've got enough money for this I can just buy it no problem. Meanwhile, my iPod Touch 4th Generation is syncing to my PC. Me thinking I have enough storage space for the movie to be held. I buy it and think its gonna goahead and be on my iPod now. When the movie is done downloading I go to the videos app on my iPod and see it. It is grayish and I didnt know if it was normal or not so i just click dont work, click again, click again,click again.Not working. Then i come here for somebody else to help me.
Type "unable to restore" and/or "3194" into the search bar at the top of this page by Support and read the resulting help articles.

I downloaded and rented a movie from ITUNES ver 11. I'm able to run the movie but after about 30 seconds I receive an error.
"Itunes has stopped working" A problem cause the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available.
Windows offers me to down load ITUNES WIN 7 64 bit, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the 64 bit version...no joy... I have run the repair option and still nothing.. Any suggestions???

Before I downloaded Lion every time I would upload a pic from iphoto there would be two files. One that was 1.8MB and another that was 50KB. Now I can only find the 1.8MB one. Did this option disappear with Lion? I really need this option!

two files would show up in "images".
Do you mean in the All Images search in the Finder?
IF so:
1.Never interact with photos that are in iPhoto via the All Images Search. This does not understand the iPhoto Library and it's very, very easy to damage the library this way.
2. What you were seeing was the original file you imported and the thumbnail created by iPhoto for viewing on the iPhoto Window. That thumbnail is not designed for user access.
What are you trying to do ultimately?

For some reason, iOS 6 has decided to download on my iPod Touch through WiFi. I didn't request it, nothing is set to automatically update in the Touch settings, or iTunes. It seemed to start downloading when I synced the Touch. I've disconnected the Touch from WiFi temporarily. How can I cancel the download, or will there be an option when it's done downloading to cancel the install?

They would only be where you put them. What program did you use to import them? Pics/vids taken with ipod are not part of the sync process at all. You should be importing them just as you would with any digital camera.
If you did not import them, then they are not on your computer. -
I have an iPhone 4S and for some reason when I go to turn my wifi on sometimes it's greys out and Won't let me turn it on so what can I do to fix this ???

i rented a movie from itunes. i was on a plane when i tried to access it...but got an error message saying "cannot access itunes store". i had a wifi connection but had to purchase internet to watch the movie on the plane. never had this problem with my ipad and never have it when i download tv shows. what's the deal with movies?
It's not normal, presuming that the movie downloaded completely, but it has come up from time to time. I've not been able to figure out from the various posts why rentals work for most but in some cases insist on a connection to the iTunes store. Go here:

to report the issue to the iTunes Store. Perhaps they can provide an explanation, though you may just get canned and rather inapplicable replies about how to rent or download.

Firefox automatically upgrades me to 3.6 but form some reason the next time I start up it reverts to 3.5. Consequently, it takes forever to load each time and it is getting very irritating. Don't make me go back to IE!

Just to be clear, the browser you were using when you posted that was 3.6.6.
This "automatic downgrade" may happen if your computer is set to restore your Program Files folders to their previous stat when you reboot your computer. Please contact your system administrator and ask him about that, or see if you don't have any software of this sort, if you don't have a sys admin. -
Why have my videos switched from playing no problem at all to not playing and the iCloud is the "play" button?
No it's not stealing. They have an allowance that you can share with so many computers/devices. You'll have to authorize her computer to play/use anything bought on your acct. You can do this under the Store menu at top when iTunes is open on her computer.
As far as getting it all on her computer....I think but I am not sure (because I don't use the feature) but I think if you turn on Home Sharing in iTunes it may copy the music to her computer. I don't know maybe it just streams it. If nothing else you can sign into your acct on her computer and download it all to her computer from the cloud. Not sure exactly how to go about that, I haven't had to do that yet. I wonder if once you authorize her computer and then set it up for automatic downloads (under Edit>Preferences>Store) if everything would download. Sorry I'm not much help on that. -

Exactly what is going on with my Epson XP 810. I will reset my modem and it will print one or two pages and then say "Searching for printer" and it will never find it unless I reset the modem. Was working fine last week so I don't know what changed.

Can you pleaes tell me why it is not documented that you have to wait several hours to download a film from itunes store onto our apple tv, stupidly we thought this would be instant! We have changed our download resolution but still no help!!
Because you apprently have a very serius network issue. Purchased TV Shows and Movies can generally be viewed with in about 30 sec. of buying them. I believe rented shows have to be fully downloaed before they can be viewed which depending on your internet connetion could take several hours or longer.

I am admittedly new to iTunes, but I was wondering if I can access my purchases on another computer? Or is what I downloaded from the store only downloaded onto one specific computer and inaccessible again from the store without repurchasing it? I downloaded a few movies onto my mac but I wanted to burn the movies from my Dell onto a DVD. Can I do that without saving the movies from my mac onto a flash drive and transferring the files to my Dell?
To view on another computer you need to transfer the file to the other computer. Add the file to iTunes on that computer. If iTunes on the second computer is authorized with the same account as the first one, the file will play.

My wife and I have separate AppleID accounts. Ever since she updated to the iPhone 5c, for some reason when she tries to update her apps, it comes up with my AppleID and asks for my password. I cannot figure out why this happening and how to fix this. Please help!
I have had this issue lately.
I can only put it down to using the one computer to update all our IPads for me and my wife.
Some of our apps, although downloaded from both our seperate accounts on our IPads, are the same.
However after plugging her IPad into the computer when my AppleID is on ITunes, I think something strange has happened and when she then tries to update Apps on her IPad and I try on mine it now asks for the others Apple ID password.
The only way I have found to counteract this is to update an app one at a time, if that app asks for your wifes password then delete it and then reinstall it.
That has solved it for me.

Has anyone had this problem? If I am downloading something and I check the Windows Task Manager the networking tab shows no activity for some reason. I figure this is probably a known problem, but I haven't seen anything on it yet.
