Thats how I feel about Apple TV.
I have talked to Apple support a couple of times about
slideshows no longer work with settings from iPhoto. (Q-movie is NOT an option).
The apple people tells me they never heard about the problem.
I bought my ATV just for this option and now it does not work.
I am really not satisfied
Yes at one time slideshows from iphoto were supported, then the features in iphoto slideshows were improved and the assumption is that the tv could not play the new features, so the ability to play slideshows made in iphoto was removed. It's clearly not a bug it was an engineering decision.
You don't have to use imovie, use the export feature in iphoto. There is no problem with sound (whether you choose to use iphoto for your export or indeed opt to make your movies in imovie), I'm not sure why you would think there is.

Have you tried resetting your device by pressing and holding the Home button and power button until the silver apple appears?
The next step would be to restore the iphone as new in iTunes. If that doesn't work, make an appointment at the Genius Bar at the nearest Apple Store.

I bought an I pad 2 from us but I can not activate the Facetime in UAE(Dubai)as I can not see the country in the I pad's drop list, anyone has an idea as to how to resolve this issue
I'm not that familiar with how FaceTime works. I know how to set It up but I don't use it. I just know that you can't activate in the UAE. I believe that you can activate in any country that permits it's use. Whether you will need a new ID or not, I can't confirm.
You can Google this and get all sorts of articles on workarounds. Apparently if you set up a VPN you can use it in the UAE. Here is one article that I found.

Absolutely right. I restarted in Safe Mode. This enabled me to see the actual text on the screen. Then I backed up. Then reinstalled. All fixed.

My new HP ENVY 23 TOUCHSMART PC has been authorized for itunes, but I can't play any of my purchased itunes songs. When I try to play a purchased song in my itunes library, I get an error message prompt stating that the song could not be used because the original file could not be found. When I check for available downloads it states that all downloads have been made. Ironically, all my movie purchases play fine, but the songs do not play. The 'unable to locate' message means that you don't have those music files on that computer, or that they are not where iTunes is expecting them to be. How did you get the entries for those tracks in your new computer's iTunes ?

You may also be able to re-download them from the store (checking for available downloads only checks for items that have not yet been downloaded, not for past purchases) via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page (re-downloading music isn't possible in all countries). You may need to delete them form your library first (where you are getting the 'unable to locate' message), otherwise iTunes will assume that you still have them somewhere and won't let you re-download them.

I recently went to Singapor for work, and i bought the new iPhone 5s unblocked. The lady told me i would be able to use 3g, 4g and Lte in Europe, and since i need to travel a lot, i decided to bought the iPhone. I started using my iPhone today but i can't have access to 3g, 4g or LTE.
What do i need to do?
Thanks for your support.Yes, at an Apple Store. I just solved my problem. I went to Vodafone and they told me it is normal to be without 3g for a while because it's a new nano card. They didn't guarantee that i'll have 4g and LTE but at least the 3g is working now.

It cannot be lost it came with the phone. look on another screen or in a folder. IF you cannot find it then go to settings/general/reset/reset home screen layout

You can try this - quit iTunes, reboot your PC, restart the iPad and then try again. Use a USB port on the computer - do not use a hub. Remove any unnecessary USB devices while you are trying to iTunes to see the iPad.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut off. To power up hold the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.

Many thanks Pitt.For that Nikon model you need ACR 8.3 that means CS6 or CC. Or you can download the DNG converter convert your Nikon RAW files to Adobe RAW files. And then process the Adobe RAW files with CS5 ACR version 6.7

Hello, Just bought a new camera, Tried to import files to elements 12 on the Mac and Elements 10 on Windows... Both computers I get error message:Nothing was imported. Files or folders selected did not contain any supported files... They are Raw (new) files.. It is the only files I had ever imported and it has always imported them in the past..
