It looks as though 2011 is not compatible with 2003 per some searches online, but what are some options I have to gain full access again? I purchased parallels in hopes that this my help and I am able to use remote desktop connection to log on to server but can not drag and drop files I need. There is a shared drive on that Server we all use to exchange files.
The two main issues are gaining access to my email again and ability to drag and drop files from mac to pc. I hope this is enough info to get some solutions.
PS - IT person says my iMac's IP is what his server does not understand so that is why I can not login.
Office 2011 is not compatbile with Exchange 2003.

Same thing is happening to me. Adobe has not responded to anyone about this error. It appears that Abobe XI is not compatible with IE 11. I do not get this error when I use Chrome or Firefox. Only IE 11 does this. I have tried clearing cache and cookies. I even uninstalled and re-installed IE 11. It is still doing it. Error message is FAILED TO GET DISPATCH FROM IBRWSR2. Then when you click on it the next error message says: PHTML IS NULL. You have to click this error message twice and then the PDF finally loads. Happened every time

As a last resort I will try uninstalling the Adobe Reader XI and install Adobe Reader 10 instead. It seems to work ok. But when I try to install version 10 the Adobe site tries to install XI. Any ideas?

We have Iplanet Web Proxy Server V3.6 on AIX 4.3.3, and is trying to roll out IE browser V6.0. And is experience following problem:
When first try to access an ACL controlled URL, after enter user name and passwed, it would say "page cannot be found", and user has to click on "Refresh" botton, then it is OK. Subsequent access are all fine.
It seems to be a bug to me with proxy server. Currently, there are only SP2 for V3.6 available on the download site. However, from the release notes, it does not say it is fixing this specific problem.
Anyone can advise on this ?I think this one is fixed in SP3. Can you try to upgrade and see if the problem still persists.

I have installed FF 5 & now wish I hadn't.
Ihave lost a very useful toolbar (alot)which was perfectly compatible with previous FF versions.
Inow need to get back to a version where I can reinstate my alot tb.There should have been an option to abort if a new version was going to be incompatible with other software.Numbers documents from iOS need Numbers 3.2 on a Mac to open. And Numbers 3.2 requires Mavericks. If you are using Mavericks you can get Numbers 3.2 from the Mac App Store. It will be free IF you have Numbers 2 (iWork '09) installed. Otherwise you must buy it.
Your other option is to send the Numbers file as an Excel file via e-mail to yourself to open with an earlier version of Numbers. -
IMAC seems not compatible with Road Runner. Can send, not reply or send
Started having problems with RR on IMAC/Leopard. RR says it is a MAC problem. Can receive but not reply or send, so I have to go to webmail, wasting time. Is it better to use Mac Mail? Would that solve the problem?
This is a known issue with road runner e-mail and the mac mail app. Seeing as the mac mail app works just fine with any other e-mail provider, logically the issue is with road runner's e-mail service.
In my experience, Road Runner is severely lacking in Mac support. When I used to use them (I recently switched to FiOS), any time I would call support due to an outage, I was always told that "our internet doesn't work with macs" or "the problem is that you have a mac. You need to call Apple for support."
At any rate, if you want to use mac mail, I would suggest getting a new e-mail provider, such as Gmail. -
When I try to play songs from itunes, I get an error message that my computer is not authorized. My songs have all played in the past. This is something new. I verified my computer is authorized, and when I try to re-enter the password, it tells me that I am already authorized. Makes no sense at all. It's an endless circle. Also, my shuffle will not sync due to access rights denied. I did nothing new, I always take the updates. My shuffle and compter are the same, no changes. Everything is verified in my itunes account. For some reason, it is blocking me from half of my music. Help!

Ipod nano does not sync with itunes library, ipod nano does not sync with itunes library
bought an ipod nano, upgraded Itunes to version 11 running on Windows 8.
My nano is set up with a different apple ID than my main account, but it won't sync with my Itunes Library, When I plug it in via USB, the IPOD nano icon shows up in Itunes, but when I do File>Devices>Sync, the Snyc is grayed out.
does the differenct apple ID on the nano have anything to do with the fact that it is different from my Itunes Apple ID, is that causing a problem? Most of the music in my library is uploads from CDs I had already owned, not Itunes purchases.
Solutions?Automatic syncing is set up on the iPod's Music tab in iTunes, which is where you tell iTunes how to sync your iPod.
Select the iPod in iTunes. There is a row of "tabs" (starting with Summary). Click on Music there.
To use automatic syncing, the checkbox for Sync Music is checked. Below that, you can choose to sync Entire music library, if it fits on iPod. Otherwise, you can choose to sync Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres.
With the latter choice, you can create a selection of songs to sync to the iPod by selecting (checkmarking) playlists, artists, albums, and/or genres on the Music tab. For example (if you want to keep it simple), you can create a new playlist in iTunes and add all songs you want on the iPod to that playlist. Back on the Music tab, checkmark that playlist. There are many ways to set it up...
When you Apply the change, your selection of songs syncs to the iPod (replacing its existing content). Going forward, any changes in the iTunes Music library that are related to your selection of songs on the Music tab sync automatically to the iPod when you connect it, or when you click Sync.
Therefore, if you create that playlist with songs you want on the iPod, and select it on the iPod's Music tab, you can simply update that playlist in iTunes (add and remove songs) whenever you want, and those changes sync to the iPod automatically at the next opportunity. -
I want to add another management server to our existing SCOM environment. But whenever I run this setup on a new server I get stuck in the window for selecting the OperationsManager database. The database field stays blank and in the OpsMgrSetupWizard log
there are lines that the setup version is not compatible with the database version. But I use the same installer as when I installed the other management servers a year ago.
Maybe there is a newer setup installer? But I can't find it.

Unfortunately for what I do for a living I can't use a mac, cannot WAIT till they do become compatible or I just switch professions!
I have adobe 7Pro because I MUST create PDF documents for my business, however when my laptop crashed for the 3rd time in less than a year and I was NOT about to pay HP $400 to reboot it, instead I had fun and smashed it (like in Office Space) and went out and bought a new Sony Vaio. This laptop is nice and all however now ALL new computers come with Gates newest form of a rip off, VISTA, which had so many issues they release a new update for it every day and professional companies wouldn't touch it, so they FORCED it on us small business owners and personal computer users, such CRAP! (If you notice all large corporations use XP, there is no Vista for large corps, there's a reason for that...
The people that do NOT have the $ to keep upgrading and paying for FIX ITS online from some unknown who has figured a work around are forced to use this crap!!! I'm BEYOND anoyed... ANYWHO I am installing my adobe 7pro and every time I open it I get asked to "ACTIVATE AGAIN" so I call in to get a NEW Activation code and a minute later it does it AGAIN... SOOO, I get Tech support and the IDIOT in India literally READS to me the following statements:

I tell him, that's a lie because my friend uses it on vista.
He proceeds to READ to me "If you are not satisfied with that answer, then acrobat no longer supports Adobe 7". WTF?!?!? Some years ago I bought Adobe Acrobat 6.0 which I placed on my old computer. Now I have a new computer with windows 7 and the acrobat 6.0 version apears not compatible with this windows version. Does anyone know a solution?

ArjenIf you have Windows 7 Professional, Enterprise, or Ultimate, you can download Windows XP Mode and attempt to install Adobe Acrobat 6 in the virtual environment. Windows XP Mode uses Windows Virtual PC to run a full Windows XP Professional 32 bit environment virtually, and it is a free download. A limitation you may encounter is that the PDF printer will not be accessible from your Windows 7 programs, only from programs which are installed in the Windows XP Mode environment.
This subject has been discussed on several forums, and while Acrobat version 6 does install and work for some users, the PDF printer does not install on Windows 7. Version 9 was the first version which was compatible with Windows 7, so if this is critical to you, you should consider upgrading to the latest version of Acrobat.

Illustrator CS3 not compatible with Vista
I downloaded the trial version of Illustrator CS3 because my previous program - Freehand, is not compatible with Vista. The Adobe site stated that Illustrator was capable of importing and editing Freehand files so I gave it a try.
Well, it does import the files with only a few minor font issues. BUT, when you try to SAVE or EXPORT it returns the error message: "can't save illustration". In other words, you can import, work, design, etc. but when it comes time to save or export your work, you can't. So the program is completely worthless.
Adobe should have made this bug or conflict clear before releasing the product with Vista compatibility and stating that it could import Freehand 9 files. What good is importing the files if you can't save them after making the changes?
I would caution anybody to wait until there is a patch or at least try the trial version before spending a lot of time and money on a program, only to find you can not save or export your work!>I finished editing a project in 2.0 and installed CS3 to finish. Now when I try to render the project it crashes and then I when I restart all of my media is unlinked so I relink save, crash, repeat forever. I guess I need to reinstll 2.0 this CS crap isn't working for me.
I had a similar problem. I started a 60-minute documentary under Premiere 6.5 and finished it in Pro 2.0. Nightmares!
I thus recommend starting and finishing each project in one version. I also recommend that when you get a version of Premiere running well on a particular system and you want to upgrade, you build an entirely new system and upgrade on THAT sys. Keep the old system because you have possibly scores or hundreds of hours into getting it to work perfectly. Sell these old systems off as turn-key systems to editors that are less experienced and don't need the power (yet). I have been doing this and it works out well. I am also developing a chain of trainees who will someday be able to COMPLETELY TAKE OVER MY EDITING POST AND THUS RELEASE ME FROM THIS HELL (so I can go back to producing and directing).

Windows Server 2012 is not an officially supported OS but it might work.
For reference each application has a Tech Spec link on its product page. From the Creative Cloud Apps page at https://creative.adobe.com/apps click on the Learn More link to go to the product page and you will see the Tech Spec link in the top menu.
There is a free 30 day trial for the applications. You can try them out on a Windows Server 2012 machine and see if they work to your satisfaction. -

I am trying to register a database (version 8.0.4) on my catalog database which is version 8.1.7.
