I BOUGHT A NEW IPHONE6 I AM HAVING PROBLEMS CONNECTING TO FACE TIME AND IMESSAGE

i need some help.
i am not able to access face time and imessage from my new iphone 6.  took phone to my carrier they said all i needed to do was turned off my imessage from my old phone witch i did, but a message comes everytime i want to access face time and imessage.
message say
an error occurred during activation. try again.
another message
could not sign in. Please check your network connection and try again.
my carrier advised me to call or speak directly to Apple support

  • My new iPhone6 has vibration disfunction problem. I check setting and reset the phone but is still unworkable.

    I missed 10 calls at least when I was watching movie in theater because I turned the sound off and vibration on. So I just found that its vibration function is unworkable. I just got the phone 7 days (tomorrow is the 8th day). So, I think Apple won't accept to change a new phone to me. Do u face the same non-vibration problem on iPhone6???

    "I think Apple won't accept to change a new phone": You have 14 calendar days to return the iPhone from the date of purchase, they won't even ask you why you want to bring it back, but you might want to tell them it's because there's an issue.

    ok for facetime and imessage go into settings turn them off make sure to make an icloud backup and then go to settings general erase all content and settings and then set it up from the backup it should activate your imessage and facetime

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
    You already have got OS X Mavericks installed (the Keynote, Pages and Numbers versions available in the Mac App Store are only compatible with OS X Mavericks).
    You have got a Late 2013 MacBook Pro, which uses a special OS X Mavericks version that is not available in the Mac App Store. This is the reason why the Mac App Store is not compatible with OS X Mavericks even if you are using it. This will be fixed in OS X 10.9.1, when your Mac uses the same Mavericks version as all other Macs.
    Until then, you can reinstall OS X through OS X Recovery > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4718

    Try to reset the device:
    Device Reset (won't affect settings/data/music/apps/etc)
    1. Press and hold (& continue to hold) BOTH the Sleep/Wake button & the Home button.
    2. Continue to hold BOTH (ignoring any other messages that may show) until you see the Apple logo on the screen.
    3. Release BOTH buttons when you see the Apple logo and allow the device to boot normally.

    I suspect unless he had some items in iCloud backup then they are gone.  Connecting an iPhone to a different library from that to which it was previously connected will result in the device asking if you want to erase it.

    Hello, If you are dealing with one of the really thin iMac's that have no superdrive, then the superdrive icon should not appear on the desktop when you plug it in, but when you put in a disk (CD, DVD, etc.) that should appear. If you go into disk utility, and look at superdrive, that should be clickable and not grayed out when you have it plugged in. If this does not show up in disk utility, go to Apple, and ask to speak to their supervisor, speaking to a customer service agent is like talking to a potato, nothing gets done. Good Luck!

    I thought I read that anyone who bought a new iDevice on or after Oct. 1, 2014 could get the iLife and iWork apps for free on their iDevice and the same Mac applications would be free for any Mac with the same iCloud account.  I purchased an iPad Air in January and got those apps for free on it, but when I bought a used Mac locally I can't get any of those apps for free?  If it is possible to get those iLife and iWork apps on my Mac that way please tell me.

    No, they said if you bought a new iOS device on or after September 1, 2013, the iOS versions would be free. And if you purchased a new Mac on or after October 1, 2013, the Mac OS versions would be free. The Mac & iOS iWork & iLife apps are separate applications for two different operating systems. Unless you purchased a new Mac after October 1, 2013, you will have to purchase them for your used Mac.

    I am so disappointed! The exact samething has happened to me, AND my husbands Touch. We had no problems before, and as you say with 2.1 a little stared - I ignored it because I love and defend my touch. After 2.2 all heck broke loose, I went to the genius bar and of course it ran perfect there. I had numerous screen shoots in one day, 'failed to connect to server, safari server, gmail server' - timed out blah blah blah, so they suggested I call my internet provider, they run a test and everything fine, they suggest I call the router people, ten bucks later and with nothing really showing a problem with the router our Touches still do not work like they used to. I am NOT buying a iphone, I want Apple to fix it or tell me how, it worked fine before what the heck gives, I wish someone could answer honestly.
    Thanks for letting me get that off my chest, I really hate to switch to Zune as my nephew has been bragging about.
