I bought a Samsung M2070FW printer that espouses that it is an AirPrint. No luck printing from my iPad mini
Printing problem Samsung M2070FW from iPad mini air.
their site don't mention AirPrint at all
http://www.samsung.com/uk/consumer/print-solutions/print-solutions/mono-multi-fu nction-products/SL-M2070FW/SEE
wifi is not AirPrint, AirPrint is a generic driver model that if a printer support it one need not download a printing app from app store
my samsung also don't support AirPrint so I use the free samsung printing app from app store

HT1695 How do I print from my ipad mini.
HOw do I easily print from my iPad mini. I do not have a service contract so they won't help me
If you have a printer that is compatible with AirPrint then the iPad and printer just need to be on the same wifi network - the printers that are compatible are listed on this page. For other printers, some manufacturers have their own apps in the app store which support some of the models (e.g. Epson have an iPrint app and HP have an ePrint app), and there are third-party printer apps such as PrintCentral Pro and Print n Share which work with some printers.

Can I print from my iPad mini?
I'm trying to determine if wireless printing is a possibility with my iPad mini. Has anyone tried or been successful with this?
It is possible. If your printer supports AirPrint then you should be able to print just by the iPad and printer being connected to the same nwifi network - the printers that support AirPrint, and some info about it, are on this page : http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4356
If it doesn't support AirPrint then some printer manufacturers have their own apps in the store which work with some of their models e.g. Epson have an iPrint app, and HP have an ePrint app
Otherwise there are third-party printer apps such as PrintCentral Pro and Print n Share which might work with it -

How do I set my ipad mini to print through my network without having to download extra apps?
If you happen to have an AirPrint capable printer, it's really simple! This article lists the supported printers and explains what to do:
AirPrint basics
If you have a different WiFi enabled printer, you would need to get some app from the App Store. It would be less capable than AirPrint. Often, the printer manufacturer offers an app. -
How do I print from an iPad mini
What is print command ? I have eprint installed on my hp printer.
Go to the HP website for directions on how to use airprint on the model printer you own.
They will most likely have a link to an App to allow printing. -

How can I print to a brother MFC440N from my iPad mini
I am having trouble trying to print from my iPad mini. I don't know whether my brother MFC440N is AirPrint compatible or not, but if not does anyone know if there is an app I can use to get round this. The printer is connected to the wireless network & is accessible from any of the other laptops used in the house. I don't think my dad wants to buy a new printer if he doesn't have to. Can anyone help please?
It looks as though you need a netgear router to use this and we have a btinternet router so it won't work
The word is that this suggestion will work with any router.
I did not see the brother printer listed.

Can anyone help with printer options on iPad mini, can I change layout paper size?
I am trying to change the printer options on my iPad mini so that I can print on legal size paper, I also would like to change to portrait layout. Is this an option when printing from an iPad Mini?
Chad-
I think the same problem exists with all the iOS devices. I suggest you look for a free App from the manufacturer of your printer. It will have limitations, but may include the ability to change paper size and image size and orientation.
There are other printing Apps such as Print n Share that can do that, but they are not free.
The problem you may face, is that such printing Apps can only be accessed from within other Apps that have the "Open In" option. If you can use their built-in programs, they may meet your needs.

How do I print from my iPad mini to my Canon MX 452?
See requirements for AirPrint and printers that support AirPrint here:
http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4356
If your printer supports AirPrint but does not work then:
Your printer might need a firmware update
Your printer must be on the same WiFi network
Your router must support Bonjour (Zero-configuration networking).
Troubleshooting:
Turn Off iPad, WiFi router (remove from power), and Printer (remove from power).
Turn on WiFi router
Wait 30 seconds
Turn on printer
Wait 30 seconds
Turn on iPad
Try to print. -
My new Hewlett Packard printer is listed as an AirPrinter on the Apple website, but when I try to print from my iPad it says that there are No airprinters. The printer is connected to the same WiFi network, is turned on & I'm close to the printer. Do I need to forma/set up the iPad or Printer to enable this feature?!
It would help to post this in a more proper form. This is for the iTunes family of stores.
