I bought a Sandisk Connect Media Drive, downloaded the app from iTunes. Before iOS 8, movies played fine. After iOS upgrade I can no longer play movies downloaded from iTunes to the media drive. Anyone else have a similar issue?

I checked with SanDisk's own online support and they indicate that they have notified Apple of the issue.
According to SanDisk, the problem lies with Apple not having the iOS 8 version of the Safari browser having DRM decoding enabled that the Media Drive relies upon to decode and play iTunes DRM titles. Non DRM encoded videos will play in the browser.
DRM audio is not effected as this is handled by the native iOS music app.
As of the date of this post SanDisk have not been given a timeframe by Apple for this issue to be resolved.
I hope that Apple resolves this issue quickly as I have a large collection of DRM video titles on a 128Mb memory card installed in the Media Drive that I am unable to view.

Since last weekend (3-15-15) I have been unable to send/receive text messages with a friend who has Sprint service. The messages send with no errors on either side, but neither side is receiving the messages. It seems to be only this one person affected by this issue, everyone else that I've tried sending messages to has responded with no trouble. Is anyone else having any similar issues?

My ipad went blank last night for no apparent reason. It was on one minute, and then completely dark. I didn't touch it, it just seemed to have died. I tried turning it back on/off, but nothing happens. Anyone else have a similar situation?
Thansk for the reply King_Penguin...let me elaborate and see what you think...I had the ipad2 in the office and saw the battery was getting really low. I tried charging it with the iphone charger (connects to my pc at work). It took a while, but it got enough juice in the ipad2 to bring it back to life. when I got home, I hooked it up, and got to about 50%. All was fine, then I was attempting to hook it up to my TV with the AV adapter (or VGA adapter, whatever it is), left the ipad alone for a minute, came back to it, and that's when it went dark. I tried the home/sleep buttons, but only for about 5 seconds...any other suggestions in case that doesn't work? Thanks again...

I just downloaded iOS 6 on my iPhone 4 and now can no longer open internet links that were texted to me. Anyone else having the same problem or know how to fix this?
The SMS links thing is highly annoying. You don't have to copy/paste however. You should see an icon like this: (>) to the right of the text bubble with the link. Tap on that, the in the screen that opens, tap "Visit".
Alternatively, you can tap twice directly on the link, then hold your finger down after the second tap.
Still unnecessarily difficult, but not as bad as copy/paste.
What I don't get is why can't I find any mention of this change or how to fix it (if even possible) elsewhere online? -
I do not know why, but I can not go to the App Store! before I went there without any problems but now I can not connect with App Store
Open the Finder. From the Finder menu bar click Finder > Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy/paste: ~/Library/Cookies
Click Go then move the com.apple.appstore.plist file from the Cookies folder to the Trash.
Try the App Store. -
I was just about to order a photo book, using photos stored on an external hard drive. I organised the book and pressed 'buy'. IPhotos instructed me that I needed to upgrade and so I went on the ASpp store, bought the upgrade and installed as directed. I then used the iPhoto Library upgrader as directed.
After the iPhoto upgrade I can no longer access the photos stored on my external hard drive. I am able to access the photos stored on my internal hard drive - the remainder (including the photo album) seem to have vanished into thin air.
Any suggestions please?What format is the external drive?

We have an iPad mini, since updating to ios 7, the iPad no longer picks up my network. My iPhone 4 was having a similar issue, but it was picking up my network. I was able to find a fix to the iPhone, but the nothing is working for our iPad. Is anyone else having a problem like this? Is there a fix?
Reset the device:
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
You will have to re enter the Wi-Fi password.

I have had similar problems. I uninstalled Office and with the help of Microsoft reinstalled Office. Excel still won't let me format negative numbers. I called Apple and they sent me to this discussion. I have not seen any answer.

Anyone else have this iMatch issue?
Before iMatch, I had no issue with my iPad, iPod, and iMac syncing up. Now, I have three major complaints: 1) iMatch deleated songs which were on my iMac before I bought iMatch! (I was giving some credit from customer support so, I'm ok with that now. Thank you Apple reps.) 2) Album artwork dissapeared! I then spent days! getting it all back (I have almost 8,000 songs) After getting it all back on my iMac, I plug in my devices to sync only to find almost half of the artwork wont sync. EVEN SONGS I BOUGHT FROM ITUNES! I'm still trying how to fix this because ALL my songs have art work on my iMac and Apple TV.
Last issue I've been having is songs I have from a soundtrack or complation album (Punk Demo's etc...) On my computer they are all under the "Artist" of who made the song. After buying iMatch, now on my iPad NOT my iPod! the device has made it's own "Artist" called "Various Artist" which is NOT on my iMac or iPod, just my iPad!!!!

Every time I sync an iDevice with iTunes, all the artwork disappears off the iDevice and then it slowly re-downloads, although there always ends up with some missing - but different ones missing each time.
I can only hope that the reason it hasn't been fixed is that the fix is so major that Apple have decided to completely re-write the code for iOS 6.
What makes it all the more annoying is that this is a paid-for service. -
I have tried several apps including Adobe Reader, PDFReader Lite and iBooks to open PDF files. No files I sync to the 4S are even displayed, much less opened. I'd like to hear from anyone who has been able to overcome a similar problem.

How about trying this as step 2:
When you open the PDF attachment in Mail that you can read, click the action (right arrow) button near the top right of your screen. One of the options there should be "Open in iBooks". Does that work for you? It should! -
Anyone else have random reboot problems?
My Charge likes to randomly reset itself. I'm still yet to find out the trigger (overheating, low battery, time of the month, etc). But apparently, mine just randomly resets when the mood feels right.
Anyone else have a similar issue or has found a solution? I believe the issue became very noticeable after the last update but I'm not 100% sure that was the cause.Heh, to be honest with you, I'm not 100% sure. Most the time I just hear my pocket say "droid" really loudly and then hear the machine sounds of the startup screen (which is obnoxious, I wish they had a way to turn that off). I think I might've caught it once or twice and it went all the way to the samsung logo. I do know that it's not accidently getting reset (I always keep my phone locked and there have been times it's been reset when just sitting on the counter).
It's possible I'm using an app that's requiring a lot of RAM but it's likely to be one that is running in the background because everything seems to slow down on my phone. Any idea if there's an easy way to determine what app it could be?
Personally, I don't like the way android opens and closes processes to "ready" them for me. It seems ridiculous that Maps is using 3% of my battery when I never use the app (I use an alternate gps app). I know I could uninstall it but should I have to uninstall an app just because android feels like being helpful and managing my tasks for me? This might be my last Android phone, unless they start to iron out some of these kind of features (which I imagine is a significant overhaul).
But I digress. Any suggestions to determining what app might be causing my phone to slow down/reset? -
My daughter bought a 4th generation ipod classic without a charger. The ipod was working just fine, but then we tried to charge it using a brand new charger for an Ipod Touch. It won't charge and someone online someone posted that there ipod touch charger worked on the ipad, phone and whatever else he had but it wouldn't work on the classic. Anyone else have this same issue? Any solutions?
The ipod did not come with a power cord as we purchased it used from ebay. The ipod was half charged when we received it and it worked well enough to transfer songs to my computer (the previous seller didn't delete their 2000 plus songs). My son then used the same cord on his computer to transfer the songs, but processed an update to the ipod and after that,it wouldn't work. So, I'm not sure if we received a bum ipod, an update issue or we have a charger issue, but the cord we used to transfer the songs came from my son's brand new ipod touch. We've also tried 2 other chargers from ipods we have in the house, 1 being a wall charger.
One individual posted online that he took his ipod classic, mac and phone overseas with one charger and it worked fine on all but the classic. So, I'm thinking that they cords may not be universal. Online I've read that it must be a 6 pin firewire, high power 2.0 usb cord. Or that I need to purchase an applie charger. We don't live close to an apple store and I'm reluctant to order one just to have it NOT work.
My daughter is learning the hard way that buying off of ebay is not always the best solution to a cash strapped 12 year old.
Any other advice is greatly appreciated. -

I've noticed that Logic makes a weird "hiccup", about 1-2 second after starting playback of a (one long) audio-file...
(It sounds as if the audio file is cut, and repeats a 16th...)
On the track I have a pitch-shifter inserted. (Vocal + 18cent).
Is this something new in 10.1.0 ?

It is dropping calls in places I have never seen it drop calls before, usually when I switch from one tower to another. It's almost unusable at this point if I'm driving anywhere.

I can open some pdf file in FF beta 11 using Adobe reader, however some links to pdf files cannot be opened. When clicked, the error message above appears. There is no option to open the file, so I have had to switch to Safari to read these pdf file.

10.6.8 update would not finish writing files
