I bought a series pass but now can't download new episodes
I bought a series pass and received an email saying there were new episodes to download. However, it won't let me.
It's on my iPad. I keep getting the message saying this device is already associated with another ID.
It's the exact same ID I originally used and haven't even signed out of my account. No matter what I do nothing works. I've tried signing in and out but nothing I do seems to do the trick. This is really frustrating as I've paid my money but aren't getting the full product.
I really need help. Or a refund.
Quite a common problem. Just have to be patient. Sometimes, it can take up to one week!!!
Yup, still waiting for Episode 4 for both Smallville and Supernatural.

You can also contact Apple directly providing proof (The original receipt) you bought it originally on a different Apple ID and under certain circumstances they will transfer the App you bought over to your new Apple ID
You will probably also need to know what the older Apple ID was, along with other information used with that account (Like the credit card used for example)
Call them and see what they say once you have all your information together...
An alternative if you are running iOS8 on any of your devices or Yosemite or Mavericks.. on a Mac, is to simply add the old Apple ID your Family Sharing account.. using your new Apple ID as the master account... then every app you bought under the old Apple ID (if it is still active) will be available to download under your new one...

I've purchased a season pass but can't download new episodes until I pay again?
I've never actually purchased anything on the iTunes Store apart from ringtones & apps, but i purchased a season pass for season 3 of The Valleys... I can see there's a new episode out but it's telling me to purchase the season pass again? It was fine for episode 1 & 2 but not 3. When I purchased it I was understanding that I have purchased every episode & can download the new episodes once they're available on the iTunes Store. Is there anything I can do?
We are fellow users here on these forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support - I've asked the hosts to remove your email address from your post (it's not a good idea to post it unless you like spam email).
What happens when you try to download the episodes ? I assume that those 2 episodes are available in your country's store (?). -
Messed up Java uninstall - now can't download new version!
I had two very old versions of Java on my machine. I used Revo Uninstall to remove Java 5 - no problems. Then I used it again to uninstall Java 6 Update 3 (this was the last copy of Java on the machine). The uninstall worked, and I was informed there were 1500+ registry entries left behind. That freaked me out, so I decided NOT to clean those out. It also informed me there were 600+ files left in the C:\Program Files\Java ... folder and I did decide to clean those.
So far so good. Java was uninstalled, and the Windows Uninstaller showed Java to be gone.
Now, I wanted to install the newest Java. So, I went to sun.com and followed the links to download Java. Neither the "online" or "offline" versions of the file would download. The 5.5 MB file stopped downloading at 500K+ bytes, and the 17 MB offline version stopped downloading at approx. 900K+ bytes. I tried many times, using both Firefox and Internet Explorer, but no luck.
Then I tried going to OpenOffice (hoping to download the 142MB file that included Java). The entire file downloaded (I think), but when I tried to run the installer, it informed me the file might be unfinished or corrupt.
I was able to download and run all sorts of files (anti virus, utilities, etc.) from download.com, but for some reason, I can't download/run Java.

Erased photoshop and now can't download new version
i unistalled photoshop 6 from my computer when i renewed my subscription (i did this cause it wasn't opening) and now i can't download a new version.
just lets me do "updates"

Help, i've uninstalled itunes and now can't download new version
First I downloaded newest versions for ipod touch, and itunes. Next, the computer & I-tunes would not recognize ipod. I followed every direction given on this site and nothing worked. So, now, i've uninstalled itunes and can't get the download to download itunes. I've turned off the antivirus in case that was blocking it, and still can't download. Please help.

Bought a 2nd hand MBA but now can't download iPhoto
I recently bought a 2nd hand Macbook Air and it already had Lion installed. It didn't come with the Lion USB so I can't do a reinstall if I wanted.
Now when I sign in to the App Store and try to download iPhoto or Garageband, I can't. It says something about my profile not being allowed to download it as the download is attached to another account, presumably the previous owner.
So how am I able to download iPhoto? I don't mind paying for it, but it still won't let me as the only option I get is "Download".
Any ideas would be great.
ThanksI think you will need to wipe the drive and reinstall Lion after purchasing your own copy from the App Store. I suggest the first thing you should do now is backup anything on the drive you need to keep. Then sign in to the App Store under your Apple ID and purchase and download Lion if that's possible - I think you should be able to do that.
How To Re-Download The Lion Installer
This appeared as a hint at MacOSXHints.com, and will work to force the download of any purchase on the Mac App Store.
Open the Mac App Store.
Navigate to your Purchased page.
Hold down the Option key on your keyboard and click on your 'OS X Lion' purchase link (not on the 'installed' button).
You see the Lion product page. It should say 'Installed,' but that button is clickable. Hold down the Option key again and click on 'Installed.' If you don't hold the option key it will tell you there's already a newer version installed.
Enter your login credentials.
Download.
It's important to hold down the Option key twice. Once on the Purchased page, once on the Lion page. You also can't navigate to Lion directly, you need to open it from the purchases page.
If you follow this procedure you should find the Lion Installer in your Applications folder. Be sure to move it to your Downloads folder for safekeeping. Do not use it to install Lion, rather make a copy to use.
Once you can download Lion you want to keep it and make a bootable USB flash drive installer for yourself:
Make Your Own Lion Installer
1. After downloading Lion you must first save the Install Mac OS X Lion application. After Lion downloads DO NOT click on the Install button. Go to your Applications folder and make a copy of the Lion installer. Move the copy into your Downloads folder. Now you can click on the Install button. You must do this because the installer deletes itself automatically when it finishes installing Lion.
2. Get a USB flash drive that is at least 8 GBs. Prep this flash drive as follows:
Open Disk Utility in your Utilities folder.
After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area. If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing. SMART info will not be reported on external drives. Otherwise, click on the Partition tab in the DU main window.
Under the Volume Scheme heading set the number of partitions from the drop down menu to one. Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, set the partition scheme to GUID then click on the OK button. Click on the Partition button and wait until the process has completed.
Select the volume you just created (this is the sub-entry under the drive entry) from the left side list. Click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Options button, check the button for Zero Data and click on OK to return to the Erase window.
Click on the Erase button. The format process can take up to several hours depending upon the drive size.
3. Locate the saved Lion installer in your Downloads folder. CTRL- or RIGHT-click on the installer and select Show Package Contents from the contextual menu. Double-click on the Contents folder to open it. Double-click on the SharedSupport folder. In this folder you will see a disc image named InstallESD.dmg.
4. Plug in your freshly prepared USB flash drive. You are going to clone the InstallESD.dmg disc image to the flash drive as follows:
Open Disk Utility.
Select the USB flash drive from the left side list.
Click on the Restore tab in the DU main window.
Check the box labeled Erase destination.
Select the USB flash drive volume from the left side list and drag it to the Destination entry field.
Drag the InstallESD.dmg disc image file into the Source entry field.
Double-check you got it right, then click on the Restore button.
When the clone is completed you have a fully bootable Lion installer that you can use without having to re-download Lion.
Use the installer to first erase your hard drive then install Lion:
Install or Reinstall Lion from Scratch
If possible backup your files to an external drive or second internal drive.
Boot from your USB flash drive installer:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the USB flash drive and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
Erase the hard drive:
Select Disk Utility from the main menu and click on the Continue button.
After DU loads select your hard drive (this is the entry with the mfgr.'s ID and size) from the left side list. Note the SMART status of the drive in DU's status area. If it does not say "Verified" then the drive is failing or has failed and will need replacing. SMART info will not be reported on external drives. Otherwise, click on the Erase tab in the DU main window.
Set the format type to Mac OS Extended (Journaled.) Click on the Erase button and wait until the process has completed.
Quit DU and return to the main menu.
Reinstall Lion: Select Reinstall Lion and click on the Install button.
Note: You can also re-download the Lion installer by opening the App Store application. Hold down the OPTION key and click on the Purchases icon in the toolbar. You should now see an active Install button to the right of your Lion purchase entry. There are situations in which this will not work. For example, if you are already booted into the Lion you originally purchased with your Apple ID or if an instance of the Lion installer is located anywhere on your computer. -
The problem is that I don't now what to do with the blue "volume" and also now I can't get the next update to 3.6.14 because Firefox says I don't have permission to make updates on this computer. But I do! I am the person who uses this computer and there is no "system administrator" to go to and there is no different account from which to do the update. I am 74 years old and this all very hard for me, but shouldn't leave me stranded with no updates.
I have already tried removing firefox from my firewall. Even when I do that, my firewall doesn't detect firefox and prompt me to add it. And when I manually add it, it still doesn't work anyways. I've already tried the link as well, but it has been unhelpful. :/

It's asking you for my apple id password. not going to give that out, sorry.
However I did try this projector on my mother in laws iphone 4 and on my old iphone 3. ipico software isn't needed. plug and play any video through standard movie player or camera saved video.
I tried on my girls iphone 5 with the adapter. The ipico software and projector doesn't work on this phone.
Hope this helped you. Better to buy a used iphone 3 or 4 and use it for video storage.
I also found that the battery on these projectors are a joke (30-60mins max). I rigged a longer lasting battery on the outside and keep it plugged in while using. This doesn't charge the phone though so I replaced the battery in the old iphone 3 and now get at least a full length movie from it. Great in bed projected onto the ceiling.

I bought iphone from Canada but now I'm in Thailand and I already upgraded to ios6 but It doesn't work well.I couldn't turn on wifi and back up on icloud so I want to know how can I do with my iphone because no apple store in Thailand.Can I send it to any apple care which is easy and near my country? You can find a local shop and pay to get it fixed or you will need to send the phone to someone you know in Canada and have them take the phone into Apple for service. Then they will need to ship the phone back to you. The warranty is based in the original country of purchase.

I bought the photoshop install online and I put it on my laptop. But now I have a new and better computer for photo and video but I can not figure out how to reinstall my photoshop on this new computer. My macbook is 4 years old, i havent bought any upgrades but now i cant download the new itunes. Can i buy one upgrade and will it work or is there a way to get the new itunes?
Even a four-year-old MacBook should have come with Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard. Leopard can run the latest version of iTunes; it will download and install pretty much automatically if you run Software Update.
You might first have to be sure that you are running the latest version of Leopard, which is 10.5.8. This, too, will download and install for you if you run Software Update. Just keep running Software Update until there is nothing left to download and install (you might have to run it more than once because some updates require previous updates to be installed first).
If you have a version of Mac OS X earlier than 10.5, then you can't run the latest version of iTunes. You will need to buy a more recent version of Mac OS X. You must be running at least 10.4 Tiger, and you can upgrade directly to Snow Leopard from Tiger. Apple still sells Snow Leopard for about $30 and you might find it slightly less at a retailer or on eBay. After upgrading to Snow Leopard, you will be able to upgrade to Lion using the Mac App Store for another $30 or so if your MacBook meets the minimum system requirements.

Events created in iphone don't sync
Events created in my iphone4 calendar do not sync with ipad or ical on my MacBook Air. However, events created in both ipad and ical show up on iphone. I have double checked - my prefered calendar is HOME for all devices. Thank you.
