I bought a song and it is not showing up in my iTunes

I bought What I've Done by Linkin Park and it is not showing up in my library nor my Purchased. iTunes froze right after I bought it. Could that be the reason why I didn't get my song? If so how do I get it?

If that doesnt work than try going into My Documents -> My Music -> iTunes -> iTunes Library -> Linkin Park -> and see if the song file is there, if it is just drag it into your purchased music.

About five minutes ago I just bought a song in the ITunes Store and it took the money, but the song isn't under my "Purchased" list or my regular songs at all and neither is the band.

How come the song and album does not show up on top of the new iTunes?

I just downloaded the new iTunes and when I go to play a song, the title and album does not show up on the top of the screen. The only thing that is there is the Apple logo. Does anyone know why this is? and how can I get it to show the song title and album.
The song is playing right now, but it is not showing up where it used to. (Where the Apple logo is)

I connected my phone to my computer and it is not showing up on my itunes

I am trying to sync my phone with my computer. I synced it this morning, but none of my music transferred from the itunes on my computer to the itunes on my phone. I have the latest version of itunes and ios5 on my phone. So I plugged my phone into my computer tonight and iphoto automatically opens and i can see the device in the left handed column, but when i open itunes, my device does not show up on my itunes. I've bought a song from itunes, and when i did, it downloaded. so i went to music but it's not there... Then i back to the itune store and look in the "Purchased" section, pressed "Not on my Ipad." I contacted Itunes and they told me to go to my account and re-download the songs. I opened my account and found the recent purchases, but they are not recent, there are 250 songs in that list, how come? And ITunes didn't give me an option to download only the ones I am missing. I don't want to download 250 duplicate songs.
The Itunes updates are worst each time, BTW, Just starting to get sick and tired of Mac and Apple and Itunes and all this complicated stuff because of your paranoia of people "stealing" songs, but in fact, who is going to download songs ilegally is going to do it anyway, So all you are doing is to make it difficult for honest people who actually buy the songs and can't have them. I reported the problem several times and didn't get any more answers. Hope this works before I disoute the charges of the songs I don't have.

I'm not sure how the Purchased Playlist decides what to put into it, but if you want to see all of your purchased items, then you need to go to the iTunes Store, and on the right side, under Quick Links, click on Purchased.
Then, click on the Music (or whatever other purchased items tab you want to look at). If you are looking at Music, click on All Songs, and then on "All" or "Not on this Computer" (depending on what you want to see).

Bought a movie on itunes and does not show up in my library. Is that normal? I was able to watch it on my apple tv
and it does show up on in account. It also shows up in a list of movies "not in your library".

How did you figure it out?

When you go purchased, there will be a cloud there beside the name of the song and you click on that to see if it will redownload the song. Hope this helps you

downloads doesn't have it ether. this isn't the first time it hasn't noticed a purchase, i had to burn it onto a CD from another computer...short of buying blank CDs is there a way to fix this

I always check email for a confirmation of purchase before I worry- and I did get one. But apparently ( not like normally) this last pass purchase I made had some kind if delay in showing up as purchased on ATV. Half an hour later- there it is.... Which is good sine I had to answers on what to do other than restart again. If it doesn't show in yr acct or have a receipt- id rebut it. It's easier to get them to refund a duplicate than search for the invisible.

Assuming you bought the song at the iTunes Store, you can go here

and follow one of the "paths" to get what you need or to an Apple customer support employee. One path is to click Contact Support at the bottom of the list of choices, and use the Express Lane.
The iTunes app also has a way to report a problem with a purchase. Select iTunes Store in the sidebar (of the iTunes window). Toward the upper right corner, click on your Apple ID. This gets you to your Account Information screen. Find Purchase History and click See All. On that screen, you can select a specific purchase with that problem, and Report a Problem.
If you want to try to figure out WHY that song does not play on your iPod shuffle, please post back...

You seem to have tried everything, and you say it's syncing fine on your Dad's iMac, so I assume, you have also done a Disk Diagnostic from an earlier post by tt2 and conclude that your iPod Hardisk is good.
You don't have to use it as a heavy paperweight, the problem is only using your Windows 7 machine for syncing.
In your troubleshooting steps, did you try to use another High-Speed USB 2.0 port, USB controller resource are very scarce, so if you use other USB devices, while syncing your iPod, it may just freeze.
Windows have a bad reputation for device conflict, so better don't connect other USB devices, while syncing, better sync it while disconnected from Internet, stop antivirus just before you go to bed.
