  • I downloaded a show on itunes and it will not play the last 15 minutes.  It just stops and can't go any further.  How do I fix this?

I downloaded a show on itunes and it will not play the last 15 minutes.  It just stops and will not go any further.  What can I do?  I am using a pc.

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the item, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.

  • Downloaded tv show from itunes and it won't play on my mac, just a black screen

downloaded tv show from itunes and it won't play on my mac, just a black screen

Did you burn the CD as an audio CD?
If not, that's your problem. Otherwise, without more details I can only guess. You might try a different brand of disk, or if you're using CD-RW try CD-R.

  • I downloaded a song to my itunes and it will not play.  How do I get it to work?

I downloaded a song off of itunes and it will not play but indicates that it is downloaded.  Any thoughts on how to get it to work?

    Hi randybratton,
If a specific song that was purchased on your iPhone won't transfer to iTunes on your computer, you may want to try redownloading it directly to your computer from the iTunes Store. You may find the following article helpful:

I Just bought Warehouse 13 season 3 Episode 1 'New Guy.' from the iTunes store and the video only plays to the 16 minute mark when the TV show is about 45 minutes long. What do I have to do in order to watch the rest of the video?

  • I bought a movie on itunes and it will not play even after re-downloading it.

I bought a movie on itunes, it would not play. I contacted apple support people, and they told me to delete and re download it, I did that and it still will not play, I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if my itunes isn't up to date, or maybe it's because I'm not trying to play it on an apple device. Whatever the case me be, I just really want to watch this movie, or get a refund.

You should be able to play films on windows computers, if it wasn't compatible with it (e.g. you should have got an error if you tried to buy an HD film on non-HD compatible computer).
The current version of iTunes is 11.4 - you can see if there are any updates available via the Help > Check For Updates menu option.
Or you can download the current version of iTunes from here : http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
What happens when you try to play the film, and do other videos that you have in your iTunes play ok ?
If you can't get it to play but other videos play ok then contact iTunes Support (these are user-to-user forums) : http://reportaproblem.apple.com

  • I purchased a movie on iTunes, and it is not playing

I recently purchased the 2009 Star Trek movie on my iTunes account in SD. After the download of the movie was completed, I tried to play the movie. When I hit play on the movie, a window popped up saying that I had to sign into my account to authorize my computer to play the movie. When I did log in, I get another pop up window saying that this computer is already authorized to play the movie, yet it still does not play the movie. What's going on and how can I fix it?

I converted the video to .mp4(MPEG-4) format. I can see the video in iTunes library but i can sync it to the iPod. It is showing that the video cannot be played in iPod. What to do to sync the video successfully??? Please help.........

Highlight the video in iTunes and choose Advanced -> Create iPod or iPhone version and wait for it to finish converting. Then try and sync the newly converted version over to your iPod Classic.

  • ITunes and Apple TV not playing well with one another?

I updated to the latest version of iTunes and can no longer "share" any more with Apple TV. When I do get it to work, which is seldom, it will do so only very briefly before stopping in the middle of a song.  Even then, the transmission is of poor quality.  Any ideas why?

    Hi HudsonPond,

Find the email receipt for your purchase.
Click Report a Problem under the app that is having the issue.
When prompted, enter the Apple ID and password you used to purchase the item, then click Report a Problem.
Click Report a Problem next to the item you are having an issue with.
From the Choose Problem dropdown menu, choose the appropriate issue.
Follow the onscreen instructions and—if prompted—type a description of the problem into the text field.
Click Submit to have your issue reviewed.
    Hope this helps ....

  • I just bought some TV shows on iTunes and it will not transfer to my iPod. It says it's not authorized, I followed the directions to authorize my computer (it was already authorized) and still can't get them onto my iPod. Help?

I have a 160 G iPod classic and there is plenty of room on it, I double checked that it is set to sync TV shows and movies, everything I can think of. These shows will not sync and will not drag and drop into my iPod. I just bought the shows, so I don't see how it could be an issue with it being old content or DRM or anything. Any help is most appreciated!

  • If I purchase a movie or TV show from iTunes and they decide not to make it available to me any more, do they give back my money?

My wife purchased Pride and Prejudice TV show over a year ago.
Now the screen says "This TV show is no longer available on the iTunes Store."
Does this mean that they only renter it to us? When I purchase anything that gives me a piece of hardware I can use it again and again until I replace it or dispose of it. One of the sales points for online services like iTunes is that you never worry about damage or loss.
Why is it they claim to sell you something they do NOT intend on allowing you access to for the life of your account?
If I wish to purchase something it comes at a significant less cost.
I understand there must be a small clause in the agreement that allows them to back out of their agreements, but now I am reconsidering "purchasing" from iTunes again.

It is not Apple that decides this. Since Apple is just the retailer, they do not own the copyrights to the content they sell on the iTunes store, if the copyright owner decides to remove something from the store that you have purchased Apple must abide by the terms of their licenseing agreements and remove it. Regretablly this also removes the items from your purchase history. This is why it is up to you to download and backup all of your purchases if you wish to maintain your investment.
In the Apple KB article Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore and iTunes Store, and in many other places, it is clearly stated:
It is recommended that you always back up your iTunes library in the event that a purchased item is no longer available on the iTunes Store. For more information about backing up your library, see this article.
