I bought a TV series on Apple TV, but its not showing up via the cloud on my other devices. What gives?
The movies and shows I bought on my Iphone show up on my Apple TV, via Cloud, which is cool. But I'd like the media I've purchased on the Apple TV to show up on my PC and I-Phone. Am I missing something? Shouldn't that work?

Hi I recently purchased a new mac computer and would like to sync the music off my iPhone to my new mac.However, my phone and my new mac have different apple Ids.The PC which my phone is synced and has the same apple ID but does not let me transfer the music. Home sharing is not working. How do I successfully transfer and sync the music off my ipone 4 to my mac book pro if they have different Apple IDs? Thanks!
What do you mean the PC won't let you transfer the music? Save your entire iTunes folder (this is assuming that you have all your music stored in your iTunes folder) to an external hard drive. Connect that hard drive to your Mac. Copy the iTunes folder to your computer. Hold down the option key while launching iTunes on your Mac. Select the library you just copied when it ask you to select which library you want to open.

Phones purchased in UAE do not have facetime installed because it is banned in UAE and several other countries in the area. It's not just a network block; the capability is missing from the phone.

my machbook pro has suddenly stopped syncing with icloud. I am giving password of my apple ID but its not accepting. but by the same ID and pass i can open my icould in browser.
Another user just has a similar issue tonight and I advised him to go to the below Apple support link to see if the password was recognized there, which eventually resolved his username/passowrd issue. Give it a try and see if it works.

actually i bought iphone 4s in nov 2012 and now its not working properly and i lost my bill as well i want to request to get a copy of bill pls.....
You are not addressing Apple here. This is a user to user technical support forum. If you are having warranty issues with the phone, a copy of the bill is not necessary for Apple to check and evaluate the phone. If there is a manufacturer defect, they will deal with it.
What is "not working properly" on the phone. Maybe someone can help and it not be necessasry to be replaced. -
Apple TV 1 Not Showing in iTunes 10.6.1, All other devices fine!
Win7 64 all current updates. Itunes 10.6.1.
Two ipads, two iphones, wifes iMac all show in home sharing or devices node. However, suddenly after updating to 10.6.1 itunes, Apple TV1 is not there and won't appear. Wireshark on the pc shows the bonjour mdns query from my pc ip address, and a response from the apple tv, but that's all. itunes never picks it up. The tv will download shows from the internet, youtube, music, etc but now I can't sync my music collection, etc. Apple has now broken functionality for me in each of the last 2 itunes releases.
No amount of restarting, resetting, etc etc has fixed. And the diag tests on itunes NEVER seem to be able to connect to itunes store. I can view my account info but clicking any links, like Manage Devices, gives an error.
My version of Windows7 is the N version, I think it was for Europe, no windows media player was installed, etc. Perhaps the ongoing problems I've had relate to that?
Who else out there is giving up on apple home sharing products and if so what alternatives are you considering?The Apple TV 1 doesn't use homesharing.
Navigate to Settings > Computers > Your Library on the Apple TV, you may be told you will lose all synced content, but you can sync it back afterwards, you won't lose any purchased content that has yet to be transferred. Then select Settings > Computers > Connect To iTunes, note the passcode that appears on screen, click on the device in iTunes and enter the passcode when prompted. -

Can't Turn On, Can't Charge, Won't Reset. Can see an APPLE LOGO, but its not that clear
Can't Turn On the iPAD2 3G 16gb. last night it has 10%, playing some music and went to Zero. i charged it but can't see any charging logo, i tried the reset button, it turns on, i charged the ipad till 100%. when i unplugged the charger, the ipad 2 went off. and i can't turn it on, nor reset. this iPAD is new and 1 month old
Your phrase 'I tried the reset button' is suspicious! For a reset you hold the Home (bottom centre) and Sleep/Wake buttons (right top edge) down together for 15 seconds or so (until the Apple logo appears) and then release. When the screen goes blank power On again in the normal way.

I just purchased Apple USB SuperDrive and connected to my Mac mini late 2012 USB slot but nothing shows up on the screen.
I have OS X versus 10.10.3The system bus and all connected products should appear in the system profile or in the
hardware part of About this Mac (more info) and if that does not, restart the computer with
the external Apple USB SuperDrive plugged in. •As a last resort, if nothing else, before a
return trip to be rid of the SuperDrive, you could try a system management controller reset.
The SMC reset is not a first choice, so I won't post a link to the support instruction page.
A new Apple USB SuperDrive should be seen as hardware in system information report.
Of course, an icon of disc media should appear once the disc is inserted into the drive, too.

I plugged my iPod into my computer to retore it and proceeded to do so as told. The only thing that happened after that was that the Apple logo keeps showing up and nothing else. My computer/iTunes no longer recognizes my iPod either.
Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Try in order:
- Resetting the iPOd:
Reset iPod touch: Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restoring the iPod from backup via iTunes on your computer
- Restoring the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod via iTunes.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store. -
Apple TV Purchases Backed Up In Itunes But Will Not Show In Home Sharing On Ipad
This problem is bizzare.
Basically I have had Apple TV for a while but really only made some purchases from the interface on the TV the other day. (Besides Rentals)
Normally I buy the movie directly on my macbook and download it. Then go watch it on my Apple TV.
This time I bought on Apple TV then went to Itunes and downloaded it off the cloud. Any movie I have purchased from the Apple TV will not show up on Home Sharing (Sharing from my Macbook to my Ipad2) Even though it was purchased with the same apple id and the movies are physically downloaded to itunes on the macbook.
If I pull up Sidebar in Itunes 11 and click itunes store and then purchases my movies show up. (That's how I downloaded them to itunes) Although, if I click "purchased" from the Sidebar (Under Itunes Store) the movies purchased from the Apple TV do not show up. It's almost like Apple Tv let me back them up but did not associate them with the itunes account.I agree with what you're saying. I just bought Skyfall through my Apple TV because it would allow me to download 1080p (my PC wouldn't) and I specifically recall it saying that this media would be sharable...yet when I'm on my iPad Mini it doesn't show up in Videos > Shared along with all my other non-Apple purchases. This doesn't seem right.
I tried copying the m4v file to my desktop, renaming it and tried to then import it back into my iTunes library but it didn't do any action. It must recognize the DRM protection.
I realize now that using my iPad going to iTunes > Purchased I only have the option to download from the cloud, and not to home share it from my PC. I agree that filling up my HD space on my device is not a reasonable solution.
I see it listed in iTunes on my PC and I right-clicked and selected "download 1080p". Now I have the movie file sitting on my hard drive but I still have the same condition.
When I checked "Get Info" it shows up as a "Protected MPEG-4 Video File. I wonder if this has something to do with it. Frankly I find the whole purchase/library system very confusing. I never am sure which device to purchase it with or how it will be sharable. Very frustrating. It should be much simpler across all iOS devices. I think DRM issue have a lot to do with the problem. -

If you pull down the centre of the iPad's homescreen (not from right at the top of the screen as that will open notifications) to open the search field, if you type in the name of the audiobook or the name of the author does that find it ?
