I have an Iphone 5 and I bought albums on it via itunes store app. I now realised they have gone. I can only imagine it is because I have had to change my apple ID as I no longer use the old email address (old company). I am disappointed that this has been the result though. I have synced my iphone with one of the PC's that has my itunes to see if it will reappear but no. How do I get them back?
It is strange as it was there one evening and then the next it was gone. I hadn't actually changed anything that evening but I wonder if it was the result of the home sharing sync or something?It doesn't matter that your Apple ID, which uses the same characters as your old email address, now has a defunct address. You need to go into your Apple ID profile and change the defunct address for a valid one. This will not necessarily change the "address" which stands as your Apple ID.
By "changing" the address directly on the Apple ID itself and not on the profile, you inavertedly created a new Apple ID. -

In order for a device to be tracked, it must have the Find My iPhone service turned on in Settings>icloud. The Find My iPhone app has nothing to do with this, it is only an app that you use to find other lost devices, so if you don't have the app on the iphone, download it from the app store. Then use that to track your ipad.
If you have not turned on the service on the ipad, then you can't locate the device. -

It iTunes is asking to enter the passcode then:

- Restore the iPhone from the backup of the iPod. You can then get the data off and then retore the iPhone from the backup of the iPhone. -
i dont not want to loose everything but it is telling me to restore and stuck in this mode....
If you have done the smart thing and backed up before your software upgrade then you have nothing to worry about.
If you didn't, well, that's a mistake you will hopefully learn from.

What type of security are you using? WEP, WPA, WPA2?
Are you sure that you are entering the password correctly?
Why are you entering the password? The iPad 2 should have remembered it and automatically connected.
Any recent changes made on your network?
