I bought Adobe Acrobat, downloaded it, but now no PDF's will open?

Are you still facing this issue.
When you trying to open pdf what happens.
Try launch Acrobat Click on File --> open - > Browse for the file and see what happens. If you receive any error. You may take a screen shot and attach while you reply.

Installed Adobe 9 reader, now no pdf's will open automatically from web based sites.
When I go to web based sites such as Renaissance learning I have been able to download the pdf reports and have them open right away on my desktop. It no longer happens I get an adobe window that says it can't open them and I should download them. But you can't download them.
This is a common problem with the Mac version of the Adobe Acrobat plugin. Could you '''disable''' it here:
Tools > Add-ons > Plugins category
Then the PDF should load either in the stand-alone Adobe Reader or in Preview. (Not sure how to influence that.) -

I bought Adobe Acrobat Pro XI full version and the reseller sent me a serial number but when I install an error message says the serial number is invalid.
The reseller claimed it is Adobe's problem not theirs.
Adobe website is very confusing that I am not able to send an email to ask for help.
It has been a week since I bought it and I am still not able to enjoy the program.
How do I go about getting Adobe attention on my problem ?

1. Does it refer to a QUALIFYING PRODUCT? If so, enter the serial number of the OTHER product, not the one you just paid for.
2. If you are copy/pasting the serial, try typing it. If you are typing it, try copy/pasting it.
3. Make sure what you purchased matches what you downloaded. For instance, check you didn't buy Acrobat Standard and try to install Acrobat Pro. Or that you didn't buy a Mac product for use in Windows. And so on. -
Okay - just realised that the last screen was just asking for a "title" for my question!
I have Adobe Acrobat XI standard, but would like to trial the "compare documents" feature on Pro. I tried to download a trial version of Pro, but the installer indicated that "it detected a more fully featured version of the product" - presumably my standard version? - and stopped installation. It is not clear to me what my options are for either upgrading to Pro, or selectively purchasing the "compare documents" plugin (if possible). I am using what is presumably an Enterprise version of acrobat (i.e. my employer owns it, not me) - so not sure what limitations that results in. I think this is a simple question, but would be grateful for advice.- You can't install Acrobat Pro alongside Acrobat Standard. You will need to remove Standard to be able to install Pro.
- You (probably) can't upgrade your license if it's a part of an enterprise license. The entire license will need to be upgraded.
- It's not possible to install just the "Compare Documents" function as a sort of add-on to Acrobat Standard. -
I bought the CC for a month it was $9.99 I downloaded CC but now what apps can I get is it lightroom and Photoshop?
