I bought adobe suite 4 student edition a few years ago and I am no longer a student and my laptop in which I have adobe suite has recently got a virus and I must uninstall the adobe suite in or to wipe the computer. If I uninstall the student edition and reinstall once the virus is removed from the computer will I have to go through the student product verification process or can I simply use the product key to reinstall the adobe suite?

Re-read my post: You must deactivate before uninstalling.

Hello, I purchased Adobe as a download a few years ago and installed in on a Mac Pro. I would like to uninstall it on that mac and install it on a new Mac Pro. Any idea how I can do that?
Just download, install, and activate using your serial number. You are allowed to have the software installed and activated on two machines. If you do not wish to retain the original installation as a backup you can deactivate it by opening one of the programs and choosing Help -> Deactivate.
Here is a general link for where you can find download links...
Download and Installation Help -
https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install.html
If you would like a more direct link you will need to name the software and the version.
If you need your serial number you should be able to find it in your Adobe account online if you registered the software when you first installed it. -
I recently got a new ipod touch. My old ipod nano is synced to a mac computer at my mom's work. And my new ipod is synced to my pc computer at home. Is there a way i can get the songs from my old ipod to my new one?
Copy the music from Nano to computer by:

Then just sync to the new device

Hey Davidd40328659,
Acrobat 8 Standard isn't available on Adobe's official website. I would recommend you to upgrade to our Latest Adobe Acrobat XI version for a better user experience and enhanced utility features.
By the way, If your old PC has a CD drive, and you have that old DVD of Acrobat 8 Standard, then you copy the setup files on your old PC and then transfer them to your new PC using a Pen-drive or external hard-disk.
Hope that helps

Hello all.
Lost my connection to one of two airport express units. Both purchased few years ago. Use them to stream music to house speakers via WiFi. I have v6.3.1 of Airport Utility. Message says to use v5.6 to reconfigure this base station.
How do I do that, please?
MaheshYou can use the following workaround to install AirPort Utility 5.6 on a Lion or Mountain Lion Mac:
Be sure to read the caveats at the end.
Lion / Mountain Lion's package installer will refuse to install superseded versions of AirPort Utility. Instead you will need to use a package extractor such as Pacifist or unpkg. Pacifist is shareware, unpkg is free.
Download Pacifist here: http://www.charlessoft.com/
Download unpkg here: http://www.timdoug.com/unpkg/
Download AirPort Utility 5.6 here: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1482
When the AirPort Utility .dmg file finishes downloading, open it to expand and reveal the AirPortUtility56.pkg package installer file.
Directions for Pacifist (I do not have screenshots for unpkg but the idea is similar):
Open Pacifist and from its File menu, navigate to the package and open it.
Click the "reveal triangles" until you see AirPort Utility 5.6.app:
Select it and then click Install from Pacifist's toolbar. It will then be installed in your Utilities folder, and you can quit Pacifist.
The most recent version of AirPort Utility included with Mountain Lion should be used to configure 802.11n - capable AirPort Base Stations. Make no attempt to delete it. It and the older version (which will bear the unique name "AirPort Utility 5.6") can peacefully coexist. Use the older version only as necessary for older AirPort Base Stations that cannot be administered any other way.
If you happen to have an archived copy of the AU 5.6 app somewhere, such as a Time Machine backup or equivalent, you can simply restore it or drag the app to your Mountain Lion system's Utilities folder instead of resorting to the above procedure. It will run without complaint. It is only the package installer that is the problem.
Keep in mind that Apple's decision to abandon support for the original AirPort Express and AEBS was for reasons known only to them. Remember that you are using obsolete equipment, should some future OS X feature not work for you. -

I bought an Adobe writer program a few years ago,and have have had no problem saving information I've added to pdf forms. For some reason, I can no longer save the information that I've entered. In fact, I get a message that the information will NOT be saved. How can I correct this? Thanks!
Hey louiseg45826294,
Thank you for posting on Adobe forums.
Could you please let me know what Adobe Writer program you are talking about. Is it Adobe Acrobat or Reader?
Could you please share the screenshot of the exact error message that appears.
Are the PDF forms saved on your computer's local drive?
Hope to hear from you.

I bought few years ago a Creative Suite Design Premium and when I want to register my series number, yours services say that the number is invalid. I very surprise because I used it before on a PC computer that doesn't work anymore. I change my computer with a Mac. Can You verify the number you customer services gave me, L. Fernandes : <serial num removed-kglad>. I give you my phone number in Paris : <phone num removed - kglad>. Best regard. Chantal

p.s. this is a public forum. posting your phone number is a bad idea and posting your serial number will get it banned (or used by someone else and unavailable to you). -
. I have Adobe Actobat 7.0 Standard for quite a while, and I'm happy with it. I use it for mainly filings at the federal court. They require PDF. I use two computers in two different states for work. I realize my Adobe 7.1 is a few years old, but sometimes I have difficulty using it with the other days downloading a boarding pass, and e filing at the USDC. . There's a problem with Adobe Flash, media, etc. and other Adobe programs, (which I use for downloading boarding passes for airlines, etc.) so basically I have to delete these other Adobe programs, besides the Adobe Acrobat 7.0 Standard if I want to 7.0 Standard to work. I periodically download the updates, but there's still a problem. My question is: Can or should I purchase another program to update the present Adobe Acrobat 7.0 standard, or just buy a new program such as the Adobe 11? Am I mistakenly doing something wrong, such as when I download? I'm an old valued customer so I don't want to spend a lot of money since I am replacing my Dell XP for a new computer now, and my other computer is a Dell Vista.
I'd appreciate your valued advice. If you are getting a new computer (for a PC it would have Win 7 or 8), then you will need to purchase XI if you wish to continue using Acrobat. Acrobat 7 is not compatible with these systems (and probably the same for MAC systems), though sometimes workarounds are possible, though not easy to use. I guess the answer is to buy the new version. Try http://www.adobe.com/products/catalog/software._sl_id-contentfilter_sl_catalog_sl_software _sl_mostpopular.html, click on the Buy for Acrobat, and then select the version you want.

I won Lightroom 1.0 as a door prize a few years ago at an Adobe clinic in Fremont. I have since misplaced the original disk and cannot get the program to open. It wants a serial number and I don't have one. How can I get the serial number so I can use the software?
Thanks for replying, Jim. I wasn't planning to use it for raw images. I shoot film, black and white, and have many negatives I want to print. I am unfamiliar with the upgrades in Lightroom. I wasn't unhappy with the version I have. It was useful for my purposes.
Because it was a few years ago, I don't remember if I registered the product. I was able to login to my account. But could not find a path to communicate with Adobe. I will keep trying.

I installed Adobe CS6 Design & Web Premium on my Mac Book Pro a few years ago but have repeatedly encountered problems with the programs freezing or not opening properly. It's a Student and Teacher Licensing version so an academic ID is required but I am no longer a student--can I still reinstall it since my academic ID may no longer be valid?
Erin Elzo as long as the serial number has been registered under your account at http://www.adobe.com/ then you should be able to continue to utilize the software. You can find details on how to locate your registered serial number at Find your serial number quickly - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/find-serial-number.html.
