I bought an album and it took my money but didn't download

i redeemed a gift card and it took it, so i bought an album and it took my money but it didn't download, now i can't get my money back and i don't have the album, what do i do?

Does it show in the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app on your phone for downloading - or if using your computer's iTunes does the Store > Check For Available Downloads menu option download it, or does it show in the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage for downloading ?

Having itunes on your computer is a requirement of using the ipod touch.
You should probably focus on getting itunes onto your computer.

Typically with pre-orders you should have received an email to download your tracks. If you have not received it, then report the issue to the iTunes Store.

When a pre-order item becomes available, you will receive an email letting you know your pre-order is available for download.
If you've enabled iTunes to automatically download prepurchased content, then your pre-order content may already be downloaded to your library. If not, simply click the download link provided within your email notification, and your pre-order content will begin to download. Alternatively you can use the "Check for Available Downloads" feature in iTunes on your computer by choosing Store > Check for Available Downloads to begin downloading your pre-order.

HT2589 iTunes took my money but didn't give me the song.

I purchased the song "Alone and Forsaken (single version)" Album; Gold: Hank Williams. Artist; Hank Williams.
When I confirmed the purchase, a page in itunes appeared that said I had never made a purchase on the PC I am using which is not true. It asked me 2 security questions which I could not remember the answer to. I went onto the Apple website and requested a security question reset email and when I finally reset my questions and went back to itunes, it had timed out. Taking my money and not giving me the song. Please respond and give me my money back or give me a download for the song.

I bought an album on iTunes store by laptop but can't download to iPhone and my Desktop

This morning I used my laptop to purchased an album on iTunes store, but then when I used my Mac Mini and Iphone, trying to find that album on icloud, it didn't show up, all my other purchases showed up normally. I went to the album page, it only showed as "Purchased" but there's no download option. Could anyone help me with this?

Your other music shows under the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your Mac's iTunes, and in the Purchased tab in the iTunes store app on your phone - if they do then are you signed in with the same account or is that album hidden (hiding and unhiding) ? Is the laptop the computer that you normally sync the phone to (e.g. could you sync it), and could you copy the album from the laptop to your Mac Mini e.g. via file sharing, a flash drive etc (copying music)

HT203200 I purchsed 2 albums and was charged for both, but only one downloaded to my Itunes account. The Billy Joel album did not even offer to download. It said there was a problem with the store at the end of the purchase.

I recieved an error message during the purchase of an album, stating there was a problem with the apple store purchase. It led me to believe that the purchase did not go through, aas it never downloaded. A susequent purchase did go through and downloaded. How dod I retrieve the lost purchase?

They might just be temporary holding charges which will disappear off your card within a few days or so.
If they do appear in your purchase history then you can try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support : http://reportaproblem.apple.com

For your credit card not being accepted (it is a credit card, not a debit card ?), then is the address on your iTunes account exactly the same (format and spacing etc) as on your credit card bill : http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1646 ? If the issue persists, contact your credit card company and verify that they and any company they use to process credit card authorisations have the correct information on file.

ITunes took my money but won't download

Hey guys, hope someone can help.
I just purchased the new Green Day album on itunes. I paid for it and it started to download. Half way through the download, an iTunes update finished and closed the window. As a result, my download has disappeared and all I have is the 57 second start track for 11 quid! When I click on the view purchase history, it won't let me login because my password is invalid to my email address, even though it isn't, its the same password and email I have used from the first time I used iTunes! I have no idea how to contact iTunes to get a refund or complete my downlaod.

Don't keep doing the same thing over and over. Wait a bit and see if it shows up in an hour or two. If not, cancel the transaction either with Apple or with your credit card company. I bought Take on iTunes, and it took the money off my account, but didn't give me the movie.

Select the content which is causing a problem and use the 'Report a problem' button in Your Purchase History on your computer.
Currently, if your purchase happens to be your most recent purchase you will not be redirected to the report form, in this case use the report a problem option from the invoice that was emailed to you.
