I bought an album but some songs say play while others say purchased. Why is that?

I pre ordered an album about a month ago, but has now been released. Some song say "play" while others say "purchased" the songs that say purchased will not show up on my iTunes library can anyone tell me why that is, or how i can get it to work?

I cannot answer why this happened -- it depends on what you were doing when the download started. Anyway, you can get all the songs downloaded as shown here. (Click to expand.)

Try Store>Check for Available downloads
If this fails, then report the issue. They will resolve in a day or less.

Depending upon what country that you are in (music can't be re-downloaded in all countries) then try deleting the incomplete tracks from your iTunes library and redownload them via the Purchased link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
If you aren't in a country where you can re-download music or if they re-download in the same state then try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that album and use the 'Report a Problem' link.

TS1362 I bought an album, but some of the songs purchased don't play fully

I bought an album off of the itunes store today, and while listening to a few found that some of the songs cut out mid song. The time on the top of the tunes continues, but no audio comes out.
How do I go about fixing this?

Delete the current copies of the songs from iTunes and then download again (free) from your purchased history.
If the problem persists contact iTunes Store support staff through the report a problem links in your account history.

I bought an album but one song isn't working

I bought and album on itunes and one of the songs doesn't work. It won't let me play it and after it plays the song before it, it just skips it. It doesn't work on my itouch as well. It tells me I have to authorize my computer, and after I authorize it, it says I've already authorized my computer. But the song still won't work! The rest of the album works fine.

Try this
Step 1 open up Itunes on your Ipod, Ipad or Iphone and look for the Album you bought, Click the buy button again
and its going to say you have already purchased this item, Would you like to download it. CLICK YES!
And you should have it!
If not contact Itunes/Apple support.
NOTE: if it made you pay for the album again. goto your email and send them the application when you bought it the first time, and say I already bought it, I want my money back! DON'T forget to add PLEASE!!!
It also does the same on Computers!

i just bought my first album on itunes, it has 15 songs. however only 14 songs got transferred.
will i pay only 14 and do i just need to buy the missing one again or can i retrieve the interrupted file somewhere?

I'm new to purchasing and downloading music. What I did was use a gift card to purchase an album but most of the songs only play for 30-40 seconds. A couple play for their full time. What went wrong?

I've tried closing out of iTunes. I've shut down my mac. I cannot get this flippin song downloaded, but the rest of the album downloaded fine. What do I do now?

I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
Find the item that is not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the entry, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" link next to the item.
(Not entirely sure what happens after you click that link, but fingers crossed it should be relatively straightforward.)

I recently purchased Now thats what i call disney from the itunes store. All the songs have downloaded but a third of the album doesnt play or plays for a minute then cuts out. I have reported the problem but itunes customer support are taking a long time to solve the problem. Does anyone else have any suggestions?

First, delete the song. Then go back to the iTunes Store, select Purchased from the Quick Links section and re-download the song.

How do I get a song to download properly? Downlaoded an album but one song only plays first 2 seconds.

Can only listen to the first 2 seconds of a song, checked for downloads incomplete and get all songs downloaded message, also have latest iTunes version. Tried restarting my PC but did not help. How do I get all of the song re-downloaded properly?
