I bought an ASUS G73JH-RBBx05 I need help!
Everytime I play a game the laptop crashes to a screen with stripes on it or even when I'm not playing a game the laptop crashes to a black screeen!! I updated everything and it still does it! I just bought it on 12/23/2010!! Someone please help!

Sounds like faulty hardware or some bad video drivers. Try running the startup diagnostics through the BIOS if it has that feature or whatever diagnostic software ASUS installed on your machine.

You can only use apps that are compatible with your dvice and ios version.
The secons gen ipod touch can only go to 4.2.1.
If you are running 4.2.1 then you can only use apps that require 4.2.1 or lower. -

What OS is on your Mini? What year/model is the Mini? The seller should have reinstalled the OS that came with the Mini instead of just selling it to you as is.
Once you determine the OS, you can erase your Mini's Macintosh HD and reinstall the OS which will allow you to setup your own account during the Setup process. -
I have an Ipod mini...I just bought a nano..Now I need help!
I just bought the Nano and hooked up to the same computer as my Mini. The problem is I am unable to create and add new playlists for my Nano. The Mini works fine, but I am unable to add new music to my Nano. Anybody else have this problem or have advice on what I can do? Thanks for any feedback.

I have recently bought a zen touch (20gb) and i can't figure how to get music from Creative media Source to my Zen. I know how to select all tracks (i have 745) but i can't find the transfer button. If someone could help me it would be greatly appreciated.
You can use either the left arrow or the right arrow to transfer, depending on whether you view the content of your MP3 player on the left or on the right. Creative MediaSource is so fliexible that it offers you to view your different music sources in different panels. Apparently, you you may not be aware that you can view the content of your MP3 player in the right panel. Just to to the View Menu and you can select what you want to view in the right panel.

Just Bought New Mac Mini Server and Need Help on Migrating Old Single User
This is for my home / home office The issue is I was unable to connect to my old computer using migration assistant for some reason, but I didn't want to go down a rabbit hole to figure it out.
I would like to transfer all of my applications and prefs / settings to the new machine and I was thinking about using a synching program to do it so I wouldn't mess with the SL Server settings. I suppose I could do this manually but am concerned some hidden files or settings may not get moved properly. I am able to mount my old hard drive on the new mini so I just need a strategy. Thanks.Good question - my angst is subsiding as I type. I was concerned that my preferences and other application linked things like Application Support were the same as it was, but I suppose if I have to mess a bit with it upon opening or reinstalling a program is the worst thing that will happen. After going thru the list of programs I realize that like most people I regularly use about 15% of the things in my Applications folder. The biggest hassle is Adobe CS4 which I need to get reauthorized by Adobe and this could only have been solved if I de-authorized it before blowing out my earlier computer. Luckily that is worst issue I am encountering.

ASUS G73JH-RBBX05 Warranty - is it Global?
Is the 1-year warranty on the ASUS G73JH-RBBX05 a global warranty or only valid at ASUS service centres in North America?
Is there a warranty card included in the box that specifically states it is a global warranty? No fine print that excludes global warranty service?I would check Asus' website. MFGs rarely include any type of paperwork in PC packaging anymore these days. I would assume the warranty is not just valid in the US, but I know if that's the case, it will be different in every country it's applied in and often times there are different phone numbers to call.

Need help with a Asus 27" monitor with webcam problem.
Need help with a Asus 27" monitor I bought. Model VK278Q. The issue is that the webcam will not work properly. Various applications can see the webcam, but I just get a black box. From what I have read, the issue seems to be that there are no official drivers for the webcam.
I thought someone in this community might be able to offer some help before I return the monitor. I read somewhere that it may be possible to tweat the OS so that the iSight software will work for the monitor webcam.

Eureka! You now understand the situation.
Even the old standard for Mac OS X drivers for non-compatible cams, macam, says that it has no driver for ASUS (20") monitor camera.
The macam status shows:
not working (no documentation)
With no working driver for the 20" ASUS, it is not surprising that there is none for the 27" either. There may be good reason that ASUS won't (or can't) offer either the technical documentation or a Mac driver for their monitor's inbuilt webcam. However, they apparently do not publish that information.
If ASUS Technical Support cannot provide the driver you need for OS X, the ASUS will continue to be a ridonculous (sic) monitor whose webcam will not work with your OS X Mac. The only other simple fix I can think of is to use the ASUS with a different PC that is compatible with this monitor and its inbuilt webcam. What you do is certainly your choice.

I am currently running Photoshop CC on an Asus G73JH (i7 Q720 @ 1.60Ghz), 6 GB of Ram, Windows 7 Professional.
The video card is the ATI Mobility Radeon HD5870 (1GM dedicated VRAM).
The BIOS and vBIOS are both current.
The ATI driver is current: 8.683.0.0, dated 12/17/2009.
However, everytime I start Photoshop CC, I get the following message:

Installed TWAIN devices: NONEYou gpu dirver is way out of date. You state The ATI driver is current: 8.683.0.0, dated 12/17/2009. You should be using catalyst 13.9 that came out about 3 months ago. Anything less than 13.4 would be trouble.
You need to get driver from ATI website, not MS. -
Recently my laptop, an Asus G73Jh, has started overheating I think. Whenever I'm playing a game, whether it's EVE, MW2 or the Witcher 2, my screen goes black, then it shutsdown after 5-10 minutes. The right side of my keyboard, presumably my graphics card, gets warmer as well. I've tried blowing it out with air duster to no avail. What can I do to fix this?

Go to Solution.When you're talking about heating problems like that, there really isn't anything simple you can do. You can research your model online to see if this is a known issue, and see if a BIOS update or something fixes it, or buy a chill-mat to work around the problem.
However, if you really want it fixed, this type of issue really needs to be brought in to be looked at. Taken apart to see if a fan has gone bad, or what not.

I buy for mac app but not for the iPad, so how do I reinstall a program that has already purchased? I need help because I bought the imovie'11 but when he opened it only brought 8 movie trailer templates instead of the 15 it says on the program. How do I solve this problem? Once paid for a program incomplete. I also liked that the AppStore itself had a button to reinstall programs already bought, because it is very hard to understand how to do this in the store, only option is to install and hide purchase, and how do I reinstall, attention'm talking about reinstalling a computer mac, not an ipad or iphone.

I have an iPhone 5 and a PJ205 ipico Handheld LED Personal Projector for Apple iPhone 4. I bought the apple adapter but now need the app. Apple's App Store doesn't have it anymore, where can I get one?

It's asking you for my apple id password. not going to give that out, sorry.
However I did try this projector on my mother in laws iphone 4 and on my old iphone 3. ipico software isn't needed. plug and play any video through standard movie player or camera saved video.
I tried on my girls iphone 5 with the adapter. The ipico software and projector doesn't work on this phone.
Hope this helped you. Better to buy a used iphone 3 or 4 and use it for video storage.
I also found that the battery on these projectors are a joke (30-60mins max). I rigged a longer lasting battery on the outside and keep it plugged in while using. This doesn't charge the phone though so I replaced the battery in the old iphone 3 and now get at least a full length movie from it. Great in bed projected onto the ceiling.

I have an iPhone 5 and a PJ205 ipico Handheld LED Personal Projector for Apple iPhone 4. I bought the apple adapter but now need the app. Apple's App Store doesn't have it anymore, where can I get one?
blackyam...thank you for the ipico software. When I try to authorize my computer for it it says that I need to fill in the password for *******@yahoo.com. I can't seem to get it to work with my email and password. Do you know anything about this or do you know *******@yahoo.com's password?thx, Chris
