I bought an ipad 2 from a foreigner. But the person had the Find my iphone turned on. Last week i left the ipad connected to itunes which upgraded the ios. Now it asks for apple ID which i don't have. So what can I do??
No apple ID to activate. Previous owner's contact info isn't with me.
If a second-hand iOS device has been 'Activation locked' then only the previous owner can unlock it, either by providing you with the account ID and password, or by removing it from his list of devices (as he should have done before selling it) - please see http://support.apple.com/kb/ts4515
If you are unable to contact him to do this then I'm afraid you will not be able to use the device - there is no other way of unlocking it at all. Apple cannot unlock it for you.

how do i find my administrator id? i am trying to use what i thought it was it but not allowing it. or can i change it someplace?
If your account is an Administrator type, enter YOUR password to your account. You can check this from System Preferences / Users & Groups. Look in the left pane at your userID and see if it has Admin underneath it. If it does, you're an adminstrator. If it has Standard; then look for an account that has Admin and you will need that password.

If None is not available - On your computer launch iTunes and click "iTunes Store" in the left navigation pane. Click the "down arrow" next to your name at the top right side of the page and click "Account." Enter your username and password and click "View Account" to log into your account information. Next to your Payment Type, click "Edit." Select the "None" button and click "Done." Confirm that your card has been removed by returning to the Apple account information screen. Under Payment Type, it should say that there is no credit card on file.

If you mean that you don't have a rescue email address set up on your account as described on the page that you posted from (you won't be able to add one until you can answer 2 of your questions) then you will need to contact iTunes Support / Apple to get the questions reset.

i am trying to download itunes 10.7. i have windows vista 32-bit. when i click on download. the pop up window comes up and ask to save or cancel, and then the webpage says thank you for downloading. it hasn't downloaded it. what can i do to fix this?

I want to register my iPod with iTunes but the registration form keeps asking for a postcode but there is no field to enter it, although there is an arrow showing where the error is but still no field for entry. Any suggestions how to get past this ?
I can not get to iPhone screen, so no way to get to Settings. That is the problem. When I connect phone to iTunes I get screen asking to insert SIN card. On the phone I'm getting Cinfigure screen asking Launguage , Country or Region, Wi-Fi, ( I can connect to my home wi-fi), and last screen "Activating your iPhone". It sounds like two Apple accounts were used in the purchase of songs, yours and hers. Assuming she won't give you her password, you're kinda stuck. For $129 or so you can repurchase them all.
By the way, if she has the computer and it has your account info in it, you ought to change your password. -

Perhaps the reason that your username and password are not recognised is because you have caps lock on.

If the card has been redeemed onto your account then you shouldn't need to re-enter it - I've never had to re-enter any of mine, and once a card has been redeemed it effectively becomes zero, it's value should be added to your balance. What is happening when you try to buy the song ?
