Theoretically, yes. However, you'll only get 3G speeds. You won't be able to use 4G LTE.

Reset the device did not help me but it does triggers me to attempt to resend the PDF file attachment on email--and it works the 2nd time. My problem is now solved.
The Adobe Reader is very helpful--it allows me to scroll through the document easily, unlike iBooks, where I cannot scroll straight up or down.

IPad 4th generation with Accidental Damage Protection

I have purchased an iPad 4th generation with Accidental Damage Protection on January 27, 2013 but it's still in perfect condition and I'm using an OtterBox Defender Case. The iPad has never been dropped even in the OtterBox Defender Case. There will be a new iPad Air 2 coming by the end of the year. If I want to trade in the old iPad for a new iPad Air 2 that ships with iOS 8. What happens if I have remaining time left on the protection plan if I want to trade in for a newer iPad model? Like Mbrguy mentioned, you would be able to cancel your service plan for a pro-rated refund if you ultimately decide to trade in your current iPad through our Trade In program. If you still have the original box, documentation, and Apple accessories, then make sure to bring these in as well to ensure you receive the highest trade in value possible. Just remember to remove any accessories that weren't originally included with the device though as these parts typically do not have a trade in value.

I have an Olympus E620 and have bought an IPad 4th Generation. How can I transfer my pictures from the camera to the IPad?. My camera does not take SD cards.

The only cable I can find with lightning and usb is the apple camera adaptor but it is £25 from Apple which is a bit expensive if it will not work. Some peoples reviews seem to say this will not work, I can not use the camera reader by Apple as this only takes SD cards and my camera takes XD and compact flash cards. I have realised that you cannot use this cable on a card reader which is a shame and means taking more cables on holiday with you and more likely to get lost. This is so frustrating as one of the reasons of buying the iPad was to use, to transport photos whilst away instead of having lots of cards which do get lost and damaged. I hope someone can help as there seems to be a lot of confusion as to what works in cases like this.

As far as being able to change the IMEI, I'm sure if the person hacking the iPhone is good enough that it IS possible. However your every day thief would not be that good I am sure.
It might also be possible for you to track the device yourself if you had enabled Find My iPhone in Settings>iCloud.

They may be purchased unlocked at full price. But whether you can use them in Brazil depends on whether you have GSM service there.
Note that if you buy in the US then any warranty work will require you to bring the device to the US for service. The US warranty is only good in the US, not in Brazil. You would be better off buying it in Brazil which will also save you duty and import taxes plus US sales tax.

Unlimited Internet is different than the carrier supporting the hotspot feature. I don't have an iPhone or an iPad with cellular. My limited knowledge about the hotspot is from reading support articles about it and from what I have read here in the forum.
I don't know that circumstances with the carriers have changed, but initially, the was an extra cost to enable the hotspot feature on the iDevice. I believe that Verizon was charging an additional $20 per month for the feature. Check out the support article that I posted above.

Never used it so I can't comment on whether or not it works well. There are very few devices out there that allow file transfer without going through iTunes or via the internet. IMHO, one real weakness of the iPad, great for consuming data, however not very fully featured when it comes to moving data around, especially if that data doesn't come from iTunes or other online source.

Talked to my brother on the phone yesterday. He is wanting to buy an iPad. He read an ad about an iPad with retina display from a dealer. While the iPad air has been out for over a month now there are many third party dealers who still have the older model in stock. Some customers buy these and are unaware that a newer model exists. Others willingly buy the older model because there are offered them at a lower price.
My suggestion is to go with the latest model. Return the iPad with Retina Display and buy the iPad air.
If you want an AT&T cellular iPad you need to include that when you buy the iPad as it cannot be added later.

The "connection" for the iPod needs to go through iTunes on a computer. You cannot connect your iPod directly to an iPad.
So (for example), if your intent is to transfer songs from iPad to iPod, you need to use the copy of the songs that are on the computer and use iTunes to sync them to the iPod. If you can't do that because you bought the songs on the iPad from the iTunes Store, you can use the Purchased screen in iTunes (on the computer) to re-download them (at no cost) into your iTunes library. The link to Purchased is on the iTunes Store Home screen, to the right, under QUICK LINKS.
You can then sync those songs to the iPod.

If you have the cellular model you should have a option: Settings > Cellular Data
Have you setup a cellular data plan with your carrier?
