I read that Adobe was going to release a new product in October 2011. Did it ever happen?

Adobe has discontinued the distribution of Flash Player for mobile devices.
And you NEVER will be able to run Flash Player on an iOS device because Apple prohibited it.

I have been consistently facing a serious problem regarding the firefox I use. It's Firefox 20.0.1. I use Windows 7 and I have 8 gb of Ram.
The problem is after I launch Firefox two dialogue boxes appear in quick succession one telling that "svchost.exe has stopped working" and another is telling about "Adobe Flash Player 11.6 r602 has stopped working". The firefox immediately stops working and I have to use the task manager to close the program...even resort to restart the computer sometimes.
Please tell me solution applying which I can get out of this problem.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled flash player successfully, but it doesn't work

After being told that I didn't have flash player since the recent update, I have tried many times to successfully update. Even after I was able to successfully update, after restarting my computer I am still told that I do not have flash player installed. HELP!

That doesn't mean a lot, I'm sure, but it's the root of your problems, and Flash Player has nothing to do with it.
Microsoft "rewrote" the User-Agent Strings for the abomination they call their latest and greatest browser. User-Agent Strings are what websites use to identify the browser you're using and provide the proper content for it's browser engine, like ActiveX stuff, and Flash or HTML5 video. Thanks to the geniuses in Redmond, WA, the User-Agent Strings for IE11 (which has a Trident engine), ID it as either "Gecko" (Firefox) or "Webkit" (Chrome). Problem is: when the site the directs to the content for one of these two engines, the Trident engine in IE can't intepret it and the site then sees IE as an "unidentified" browser.
The problem with an unidentified browser is that the plug-ins in that browser aren't recognized either, so even though you're up to date, it says you need the latest Flash Player when you use IE11. YouTube... has converted to HTML5 video so if it doesn't detect Flash Player, it can display HTML5 (MP4) video which requires no plug-in to play. Facebook can't do that, because HTML5 doesn't apply to games... only video.
Microsoft has no plans to "fix" the mess thay've created because they think it's a great idea to block you out of the websites you visit.
They recommend using "Compatibility View" and pretending that you're using an older verison of IE... Problem with that is that it's seen limited success, and you have to enable it for EVERY page that has problems... individually.
I'm not big on "pretending" so I recommend actually using another browser.

Chrome (from Google)
ANY of those will work where IE11 won't, with the Flash Player Plug-in (For all other browsers), and Chrome doesn't even need that because it has its own Flash Player plugin built in.

You can try opening the website in another borwser. Try Puffin. It claims to have Flash support.

I installed IE7 to my machine and now I cannot get to flash
sites, I uninstalled and reinstalled both IE7 and all my adobe
products. The problem was still occuring. I uninstalled and
reinstalled using clean boot, safe mode, check everything out in
the registry. I ran Spybot/lavasoft/AVG/smitfraud...my system is
clean. I uninstalled all the product on my system that could be
harmful...Firefox....Kazaa...all game related sites. Now when I try
and get to flash site my IE6 now freezes the same problem occurs
with Firefox and MSN explorer. The CLT+ALT+DEL doesnt come up. I
talked to a microsoft IE7\XP Tier 2 support agent, and there was at
least 8 hours of troubleshooting to try and fix this issue. He even
spoke to people who supported Adobe products. Currently I feel left
out to dry is there any help for me. Anything who be great to here
because I need flash player functional for my school\business work.

A facebook game (ZumaBlitz) That I have been playing for years is causing me to be prompted to download and install flash player, when I do it still doesn't work.

Why has Zuma Blitz and other games stopped working? I have downloaded and installed flash player but it still doesn't work.

IE uses a different version of Flash than other browsers use.

You can't install flash player on your iPad, nor on your iPhone - it's not supported on iOS devices, and as Adobe have stopped development on all mobile versions of it, it probably never will be.

iPads do not directly support Flash.
You can look for Flash Browsers in the App store for some options to try. Support is not 100%, but maybe one may work for you. Browsers like Puffin, Skyfire, Photon etc...
IPads do fully support JavaScript. Just make sure its turned on under Settings->Safari->Advanced->JavaScript.
If you require Java, which is completely different to JavaScript, again there are some browsers in the App store that support it. Search for "Java browsers" in the store.

You need to return it to the seller and get your money back. You cannot reset or use the device with another AppleID installed unless you know the password for that ID.
If the device has been jailbroken, no one on here can give you any further help...the Terms of Use prohibit us from doing so.

If you're able to contact the person who set the lock, send them this link and tell them to follow its instructions.
If not, you can't use the device but may be able to get it refunded. Apple won't remove the lock for anyone other than the original owner(assuming they're alive.)
